Such a great place on your doorstep! I do miss those dry trails though! It really was about the whole experience wasn't it, never imagined it could be so stunning! One place where you spent money and felt you got more back than you should have each time! Been hard getting out, but so glad when I have. We are lucky in the UK with trails, and riding, just need some longer descents 🤣
Yeah, we really are lucky with so much riding and so much variety over here, nowt to complain about really (although nice weather and dry trails would be nice 😃). Best holiday ever mate, less than four months to the next one though 😃👍
I've not even been away, but not being able to ride when I've really wanted to this past 3 months have been tough. Thankfully, I can get out now. May have to try this place 😊
I had post holiday blues and that was after two days in Wales. I didn't ride for nearly 4 weeks. Definitely felt the dreaded winter smog the n my head. Cleared it with a ride. Pushing yourself back out is the best medicine 👍
Thanks mate. “Swindon” is my go to place for solo waffling on videos now; used to just do them round Chester but Chester is a bit rubbish for riding whereas this place is fantastic 👍
Those post holiday blues are always a bit of bummer, but you've got some great trails to ride near home and if you're prepared to brave the weather, you can get out all year long👍. Hopefully, you'll have the Alpine ready for Dyfi in December.
They really are mate, especially returning from scorching hot weather and incredible dry trails to mud and rain, but I really do enjoy the riding over here. Alpine will be sorted in no time 👍
Definitely harder to get motivated to ride in the winter in the UK. Like you say once you've thrown your leg over the bike it's ace. Surprisingly I'm really getting into night riding, gives a totally different riding experience on familiar trails, although getting usable footage is a challenge. I've switched from chest mount to chin mount and this has improved the stabilisation in low light.... You know what they say..... Winter miles equals summer smiles.
Funnily enough, I usually tend to ride more in winter, partly because there’s less distractions from family requirements and partly because I always end up with loads of holidays left that need to be used up. Night riding is ace fun, I should do it more really
Hell yeah mate, it was ridiculously hot out there (not TOO hot). I'll keep an eye out for your videos mate. You not hanging around with Eddie & co any more?
Great video mate, it’s hard enough to get out without post holiday blues atm, I could have got out at the weekend but just couldn’t be bothered, no idea why, it’s not like we’re not used to the rubbish British weather 🤷♂️😎
Cheers mate. It's always a bit difficult at this time of year as dry summer trails give way to muddy ones, and too easy to sack it off. I didn't get chance to ride at the weekend because my daughter had other plans 😃
I’m not long back from riding in Bulgaria, and I’ve soon got back into the swing of things although I do miss a good uplift and dreamy long trails😢oh well! On a side note is the P7 a 29er?
It’s the long dusty descents I miss; not dusty (far from it) but I am going to head up the Lakes and do a big ride soon, some hefty descents up there. P7 is a 27.5 mate, partly because I had some decent wheels on the other hardtail that I wanted to swap over for the mediocre ones that the S models come with (and did swap, first day)
@ I need to do some lake’s stuff, I feel like I’m missing out🤔. Glad you’ve kept the 27.5 flag flying, I built up a chromag rootdown hardtail frame that is decked out with 27.5 2.6 rubber..I love it, and also built a stage Evo short travel 29er, but I’m only one ride in on that
Hi, I would and think they are great, it's just that I am enjoying the bikes I have at the moment. I did borrow an eBike for a day and made a video about it, in which I discussed my thoughts aboiut it (and eBikes): ruclips.net/video/MHihaExd95A/видео.html

We will get something sorted for my week off as well 👍🏻

You really should mate, don’t know anyone who has been who doesn’t love it.
Great to hear you are able to get out again 👍
@Stopadoodledoo cheers buddy 😊
Swindon looking beautiful in autumn.
Swindon always looks beautiful; the woods behind Nationwide is an AONB 😂

Yeah, the struggle is real but forcing yourself out is definitely the medicine. Been quite a mild autumn too, which helps 👍
@Stopadoodledoo and dry.....really dry. I like this autumn 🍁👍
Love those tracks....only done once but really want to go back
Yeah, so bloody ace aren’t they. Bracken has died back now so you can actually see where you’re going too 😀
this place looks fantastic, you will have to take me sometime, maybe a shakedown ride before Spain. can't bloody wait
Really is mate, it’s one of the places I plan on taking you when you make it down 👍
Nice video Mr stopadoodledoo sir 😂👊🏻.

@@Stopadoodledoo 😂😂😂 solo waffling… that’s brilliant.🤩

My
Orange crush would like this
I personally think this place is very hardtail friendly (rarely go there with my Alpine) although others may disagree 😀

Would you ever consider buying an E-bike would like to hear your opinions on them regardless
