Great videos Stopadoodledoo, you were going well on this video. I came across your videos when looking up Delamere Forest, as I live 2 mile down the road. As a 45 years old bloke, starting mtb to get a bit fitter and hopefully build up a knackered knee, I find your videos great.
Thanks mate, think I was having a good day (can’t even remember crashing on it 😀). Delamere has some fun stuff tucked away, I should probably go there more often but the draw of stuff in North Wales is too great 👍
Just an epic day mate wasn't it 😁 it was never really and cake either, always coffee and cake 😉😂 I will have a look at fire in the booth once we go back, it will be a long walk for me 🙈 Turns in ferns won trail of the day for me, can see the appeal of race track but need to be more confident on it first.... Just been watching my footage back, I have lots of very random conversations recorded 😂 Great video mate, and always great getting back out with you and the guys again 😊
Fantastic day mate, despite the mishaps it was funny as hell with incredible riding thrown in, and great weather; can't believe you were looking for shaded areas because it was 'too hot' 😂 Fire In The Booth is a must, you should definitely have a look at it, even if it does include some lowering. Agree with you about Turns In The Ferns, it's just so much fun. I think I prefer Race Track but then, I'm glad to get to the bottom of that unscathed whereas with Turns, it's more a case of 'how quickly can I get back up to have another go?'. Definitely need to get back there again, soon (but not TOO soon) 👍
The mishaps always adds to it, how you came away fully unscathed is beyond 🤣 You're right with turns, you just know it is going to be great all the way down, maybe one day I will feel that way about Race Track 😁 And needed the shade in that heat, we are acclimatised to rain and cold now after all 🙈
Thanks mate. I wouldn’t want to ride bike parks every weekend but love doing it a few times each year; totally different type of riding. Dyfi has a really good mix of trails but when it does get rowdy, it gets REALLY rowdy. I only managed to persuade the lads to do lower race track once; when I suggested it again, expletives were hurled in my direction 😂
Great video Jason, Dyfi definitely looks like fun, such cool lines and great that you had such good weather. Nice ride and awesome speed mate. Ride on and have a great week✌
Thanks mate. If you ever make it over here, Dyfi is a must visit place as it’s just incredible; definitely up there with mainland Europe bike parks and probably better than most. There’s a good reason that so many pro’s go there (Brendan Fairclough is in the background at the top of the last track we do) 👍
@@Stopadoodledoo In any case, I wouldn't miss out on the park. Darren has already raved about it. Yes, I've seen a few videos of Brendan in the park, it must be really awesome for pros. Thanks and have a great day
Awesome video Jason, a great day apart from the incidents, absolutely loved it, perfect weather too, i can't wait to have another go at racetrack with a fully fit wrist haha, to be fair, i might not of done much better anyway, glad i took a look at it so i know what to expect next time, superb riding in this one mate, you were flying, maybe i'll take a look at fire in the booth with you next time 😀👍
Thanks mate, really was an ace day, despite the ouchies. When you are fighting fit, I'm sure you'll agree that Race Track is the best there (although I do love Turns In The Ferns almost as much). Re: Fire In The Booth, you know I'm going to remind you of that, don't you? 😂
They look pretty big (and probably are) but to be honest, they're not that harsh if you hit them with a bit of speed. As for the conditions, they were spot on mate, way better than last time I went 👍
Well you certainly made that look easy !! Awesome stuff mate. El Hippo & Turns in the Ferns were personal favourites of mine . Great Video and mint weather wasn't it 😀
Dunno mate, I would have liked to have got a few more of the jumps cleared (I did get a few more later on but didn't see the point in taking the camera up to film again). For me, it's Turns In The Ferns for the fun factor, and Race Track for something a bit more involved - love those two. Not that keen on Lovey Dyfi - we didn't even bother with it. Weather was ace, wasn't it? Shame we didn't bump into you - we flitted between the two uplifts all day though so probably not surprising.
@@Stopadoodledoo yea really enjoyed Turns in The Ferns, we never got to racetrack, we did 3 laps on each trail we did do get used to it. Definitely try next time! Yea shame we didn't manage to bump into you, we did the same swapping between the 2 uplifts... Did you spot Brendog and the Deakinator, big senders !!!
Thanks mate, we definitely got lucky with the weather although that’s about as far as the luck went for Marc, Christian and Tony (confirmed fractured wrist). Just goes to show how quickly the trails there can catch you out! We still had a fantastic day though, it’s definitely the best bike park in the UK 👍
@@Stopadoodledoo awww no way shame that hope they all ok . N wow u didn't crash either lol oj . Bet ya wishing I wud ov been there now lol. N ya it's a fantastic place ride bro for sure

Shame about Tony😥. My crash on lower race track was the bit before the last wood bit at the bottom. Will be studying you line ready for next time. Annoying that I didn’t crash there first time on my own , but now I can’t stop bloody crashing on it.😡 Great day all the same.👍🏻
@@shaundownes4329 Yeah, gutted for him although he's in good spirits. He got his wrist X Rayed on Sunday morning (apparently getting a burger was a higher priority 😂) and he's fractured one of the bones, so 2 weeks in a splint. Thanks again mate, we all really appreciate this; looking forward to the next time 👍
If I only had the P7 then I would although I would probably stick to the reds and even then, it’d be interesting in places 🤣 Saying that, I would have said the same about One Giant Leap but we took the hardtails there and had a great (but exhausting) day
@@Stopadoodledoo I only have a P7 so i think i will give the reds a go! Cheers for the response. I will be going Llandegla on the weekend as its only 35 mins from my house, Antur Stiniog was good even though i turned my front wheel into a pringle!
