- I've wanted a home sauna for a long time and I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Almost Heaven Salem sauna from the Select Saunas. Did you consider the Almost Heaven Duet from Costco? Seems to be the same exact sauna, just that the Costco one can't be customized, single package, but costs much less.
I looked at some on Costco.com but didn’t find what I want. They cycle so many things in and out though that if you find this cheap then take advantage of it!
@@1UpNerdcore Spoke with Almost Heaven, they said the Almost Heaven Duet in Costco is the Salem, just a different name. Same specs, priced at $3,299.99 it includes a 6kW Harvia heater.
@@1UpNerdcore I might still go for the SISU Eddy Barrel Sauna even though total cost will be twice.
That’s a really good deal. The higher end heater I got is overkill for the size.
Does the pool timer work well? Does it override the timer on the Harvia heater?
Works great. It replaced the timer on the heater.
debating putting this in my garage or outside. Are you concerned about heat/humidity expelling from the sauna causing and problems in your garage?
It’s not an issue because the heat slowly dissipates inside the sauna when I’m done. Even if I leave the door open when I’m done the volume of the garage means it maybe goes up 1-3 degrees for a little while before going back down.
Thanks for the video. Not a lot on youtube for this particular model. QQ: What accessories (if any) come with the sauna? Does the cedar ladle/bucket for water come with it? The thermometer?
Mine didn’t come with those accessories. I got the free bucket of stain and the led light strip free.

If you see this comment, please please tell me what is the depth up to the heater? It says 39 inches but with the heater what is it? 30 inches?
9.75 inches just for the heater and biggest depth, heater edge to wall is 12 inches and wood border that heater sits in to the wall is roughly 14.75. So sitting area minus the wood border is 23 inches to the door frame from what I measured but the from sits inside slightly by about 1.5 inches so it’s really just leg area that confines to 23 inches while the rest of the body has a lot more open room.
