- Today we go over our new "Worthington" bought from Almost Heaven Saunas @ahsaunas Heat therapy and using the Sauna after the gym are key for recovery and longevity of life even. Carolina and I have both experienced a leap in overall health. Please let us know if you have any questions or there are more videos you would like to see in the future about our sauna use and the experiences we will continue to have and learn from. Please go listen to Dr. Rhonda Patrick @FoundMyFitness she will go through all of the health benefits, and a lot of the reason we are using the sauna today. With the Worthington you even have room to do hot yoga inside! It fits our needs, and has worked well with our diets. We shot this video over a month ago, and I have lost 20 lbs. of course with including weight training, and plenty of cardio on the bike. We bought the sauna because of my injury (2 bulging discs and herniated discs) because we read it could reduce inflammation. It is not the sole reason, but a big reason we wanted to get one at home to help with recovery. We want to thank you for watching our video over health and wellness, we hope to bring you some more great videos in the near future! You can find this specific sauna at the link below. Also the below link is not an affiliate link, just a link to the website. Nothing in the video was paid for by Almost Heaven. Strictly a review from Carolina and I!

Thank you for the info, I enjoy how you point out the important notes that are missing from the install manual. -Peace
Awesome!!! Enjoy the heat!
Thanks guys
Thanks for this review, I've read/watched a ton of content over the past couple of days and this is very helpful. I am very close to buying this exact model!
Please let us know if you do, or let Almost heaven know we pointed you in the right direction! Thanks so much for watching
@@ParatrooperFrenchies I bought it from Finnish Sauna Builders, built it in a couple of nights but had an issue with the control box and thermostat not packaged in the order. It should finally arrive tomorrow. I hope it gets hot enough!
@@isaacaldrich3596 we hope so for you as well! Congratulations on your new sauna! It is 100% a life changer.
Thanks for the great video. Could you please asvise how it vents?
Did this sauana originallu come with a dial timer and you were able to upgrade it to wifi? Cant tell from the costco website.
Looking to put this model in our garage as well. We live in Pennsylvania though and winters can be cold. Have you had any issues getting it hot enough in the winter? TIA.
Dope review. Would love to sweat in there w you guys lol
what are you using for the floor? I am getting ready to start assembling mine and would like to add something for the floor. Maybe you can share what you used? Thank you.
Yeah man, these are horse stall mats from Tractor supply.. I believe you can get them at Home Depot as well. They’re incredibly effective as a sauna floor, the rubber will not melt they’re built to withstand extremes heat, they’re easy to cut as well with a utility knife to match the dimensions of your sauna. Easy to sweep and mop. Almost heaven does have cedar floors, you’re just going to be paying a premium is all.
Thanks Sebas great video. I'm trying to decide between this sauna (which is I believe made from high grade spruce) or the Braxton/Bridgeport which is Western/Douglas fir .. does yours keep its color, are you satisfied with the wood quality, smell, durability? Thanks very much
Hugo, thanks for the reply and sorry for the very late response here. The sauna does keep its color we have had it for over 3 months now, its perfectly fine. The smell is great, we added a few things to the inside like the cedar bucket and ladle, and the cedar back rest. Also what we will be doing soon is getting some cedar oil and just wiping the walls down with it. We are still so extremely satisfied! Thanks
@@ParatrooperFrenchies Thanks so much Sebas and Caro! Great idea about the cedar oil!
Do you have the sauna sitting on horse stall rubber mats? If so any issues with the smell of the mats inside the sauna? What does Almost Heaven recomend for flooring? Thank you.
Taylor, sorry for the late reply. It is sitting on the horse stall mats purchased from tractor supply. It has been absolutely fine, no melting, the mats are made to withstand extreme heat! Almost heaven has cedar floors you could purchase, we just went with these. Easy to sweep & mop the sweat etc
Hey I am thinking about buying the Nordic sauna from them. Can you let me know approximately how much it cost for an electrician to hook it up? Did it come with any wiring for install? I was thinking about doing most of the wiring myself and then hiring an electrician to come out and inspect then install the breaker to the panel to save some cost
Electrician here: trust me, let the guy do all the work from start to finish. There definitely is a right way to do this and many many wrongs. When I do my own in my own house I have it all mapped out in my head, obviously I don't need to hire an electrician. But I'm drawing from years of experience and I know exactly what to buy at the store and how much, how big etc. You'll be better off skipping the diy here and just save up a month or two longer to pay someone to do it right. And if you don't ever want to worry about house fires from shoddy electrical, try to find a union electrical contractor near you. It's worth it
Do you worry about mold in your garage from all the steam when you get out?
Great question but there is no steam after a visit in this dry sauna, it’s mainly just hot in the garage. Which is easy to fix if you just open her up
Your bottom back rest is not correct because the instructions are poor. Take it off and make the support FLUSH with the support for the bench. It says in the directions to have it 1.5 inches back. That isnt true. If you make this adjustment the lower bench back support will go slighlty up and hide the top bench support and then your moveable bench will have >1" clearance. Setting mine up now. Thanks for your review.
Closet sauna sucks all
the fun out of it.
At least give it a window.
