      Hi! So I actually don’t have any sort of power supply. I just plug in the wall and go. As far as leakage protection - it’s sealed up very well and there’s not enough water in the tent to cause any sort of leak issues. Unless you’re sweating gallons at a time- you should be good! Hey! I've looked everywhere for this answer, and it's legit NOWHERE.
    It's a pretty simple question, but I'm just curious. Seeing as you only put a little bit of water, what happens when the machne runs out of water, does it just automatically turn off - or how does this work?
    I'm concerned that it will just stay on without water in it, and damage the machine, seeing as it's heating with nothing in it.
    So, I put lots of water in mine, but then I have water left over, so I don't want to empty it and waste it.
    Have you tested this? I'd think so right, cause you only use a small amount.

    • @Coreeey
      @Coreeey  19 дней назад +1

      @@GODDESSOFDUTY you’re going to use a good amount of water for the machine even on a low time setting like 15-30 mins - good news is if the water runs out while it’s running it will automatically shut off. Trust me it’s happens to me more times than I can count 😆

    • @GODDESSOFDUTY
      @GODDESSOFDUTY 19 дней назад

      @@Coreeey OMG! Thank you for answering! I've legit been trying to figure this out for two days now.
      Does the machine make a noise to let you know it's run out of water, or does it just get cooler, and that's how you know?

    • @GODDESSOFDUTY
      @GODDESSOFDUTY 19 дней назад

      @@Coreeey Also, this is something else I've tried to figure out, but I need to buy more distilled water.
      I bought 4L thinking that would be enough, and no. So, the other question is:
      The machine seems to use the same amount of water if set on 7, as it would on a 1.
      Distilled water is expesive, so was trying to figure out the best settings to conserve water, but apparently it uses the same amount when on a high, or low setting - right?

    Is your sauna box inside a bedroom or outside your home? I was concerned about steam, escaping and getting into the drywall and ceiling and causing dampness and mold overtime. Do you think that will become a problem?
    Also, for enhanced stability and aesthetics, I was thinking about building a wooden plank box around it to give the impression of an actual sauna. Do you think that is something possible?

      Thanks for the responses. I had mine outside on my covered patio out back by the pool but I noticed my dogs trying to take a pee on it a couple times. So I just moved it into my spare bedroom that I kinda made into a gym anyway. So far, no real problems. I just don’t like how the mat drips (dumps) on the floor every time I take it out to rinse it. (I rinse the mat after every use because I don’t want it to start stinking)

    • @ThePsho

      The real issue is mineral deposits. Calcium, for instance, is good for drinking and cooking with, but not so much for heating elements.
      It's an easy thing to test. Grab a cheap humidifier, two if you can. Run one with only distilled water and run the other with tap water. Check the heating element after a month or two.
      A cheaper option is to Google "humidifier calcium build up." It can be cleaned/decalcified, but it's a pain in the ass and could potentially damage the unit.
      So options are: use distilled water, or else frequent cleanings.

    Save your money, buy a real sauna. This thing sucks for long term use. I am a user for over 60 days. Heres why:
    -Water leaks out the bottom and gets everywhere. Highly annoying. This thing will soak your floors.
    -It's a germ box
    -The sauna heating device lid will blow off unless you put something heavy on top of it. That's bad since its boiling hot water.
    -Build quality is not good, mines ripped already in the corners, and my zipper snapped off. (yes I did have to take it apart moving apartments, and no it did not make it to the new apartment since it broke)
    You can get a sauna for like $1000 on wayfair. This is $350. You will get what you pay for.

    • @Topsquadjapan
      @Topsquadjapan 4 месяца назад

      I did enjoy it while it worked. However it takes about 17 mins to heat up. The timer only goes to 60 mins then its pretty much out of water on the highest setting. If you are trying to use this as follows then I highly recommend a real sauna:
      -20 mins sauna
      -3 mins Cold Plunge
      -20 mins sauna
      -3 mins Cold Plunge
      -20 mins sauna (pretty much out of water)
      -3 mins Cold Plunge
      for a total of 60 mins sauna and 9 mins cold plunge then this unit will not work as the Sauna will be out of water by 3rd round and then it will take another 17 mins to heat up when you refill it.
