      I appreciate that! I'm definitely looking forward to warmer temps outside. That said, I hopped in today and it was about 60 degrees out and the tent got HOT! I'm really curious to see how it will be in the summer. I'm guessing I won't be in there for more than 10 minutes.

      Windows made from fiberglass is an upgrade from vinyl due to its durability in temp changes. If the poles are indeed fiberglass they should do fine

    I should be receiving my saunabox and cold plunge combo today! Super stoked. I was going to set it up in the garage so hopefully it doesn't cause an issue with too much moisure in the house but I was going to just open the garage and setup a fan to help vent/dry it out.
    One thing I would recommend is using distilled water only to prevent calcification and all that crap gumming up the machine. Idk if you mentioned that or not. Solid review ty.

      The SaunaBox contains the steam really well, so the only time it will air out is when you open the door. Honestly, I don't think it will have any more impact than if you took an extended hot shower in your bathroom. Yeah I agree, air it out with a small fan and you should be good. Great point about using distilled. Not a bad idea all around. Thanks for commenting!

    How do you think this would do in a finished basement? Is it best to have this outside?

    • @Recovatech
      @Recovatech  2 месяца назад

      Totally doable. The sweat mat does a great job collecting most of the water/sweat, but I would still place it on something that could stand up to some moisture (no carpet). As far as the steam, it's really well self-contained in the tent and when you do open it, it's a quick burst of steam and then it dissipates right away. No more than a shower if that helps. When you're done, open it up all the way and use a fan to dry it out for an hour or so. Very low maintenance overall.

      Not a chance. I've noticed as it's getting warmer outside that I'm actually scaling back the amount of time I spend in it. I've always kept it on the highest setting and could go 20+ minutes. Now I get to about 15 and I'm done. Just feels so much hotter inside.

    Is this safe indoor/basement? Guessing it needs to be by a window or a fan to flow the steam out?

    • @Recovatech
      @Recovatech  4 месяца назад +3

      Sure you can. The steam is pretty much contained while the door is closed, but once you're done, be sure to air it out really well. You could simply use a fan to dry it out. I know a lot of people are concerned about the steam causing damage, but it's not much different than taking a hot shower with the door closed.

    Can it be used inside our bathroom? We have a ton of space

    • @Recovatech
      @Recovatech  4 месяца назад +2

      Absolutely! You can use it anywhere indoors. I would just make sure you have good ventilation to air it out afterward. That could simply mean to run a fan to get rid of the condensation inside the tent. You just don't want it sitting there and not drying out.

  • @Elados16
    @Elados16 3 месяца назад +1

    Is it ok to use it indoors ?

    • @Recovatech
      @Recovatech  3 месяца назад

      Absolutely, as long as you use caution. The sweat mat does a great job at absorbing water, but I'd put a waterproof mat underneath the entire thing. Also, just like outdoors, you want to make sure you air it out really well afterward. Otherwise, the steam is well contained and once you do open it, I don't think it's more than what a hot shower would put off.
