I like how nobody mentioned that the setup they show has the _bag_ of feathers balancing out the steel weight. If there were both a kilo of steel and a kilo of feathers, the additional weight of the bag itself should have cause the balance to tip toward the feathers.

As far as making something that feels like it came out of Bakemonogatari, this was pretty good! The slides with random facts and measurements (like at 0:06) were pretty good touches, and felt in style!

I honestly love the monogatari style. I don't care what subject matter it is, monogatari style of editing with a monogatari soundtrack makes it 100x more interesting.

They both have the same weight so neither are heavier than the other. 1 KG of steel is heavier than a single feather but it's same weight as 1KG of feathers (a large number of feathers with a combined weight of 1KG)
Alright so teeeeechnically if both were put on a scale the feathers would drop down because of their volume. There's a pretty interesting video on this too
