This is certainly one of the best Monogatari-style editions I have seen. Many people make these edits just putting the obvious OST (Sutekimeppou) and random images flashing on the screen without much purpose. You really put a OST that matches the situation, and more importantly, you put Walter's thoughts flashing on the screen in the same way as they do in the anime with Koyomi's thoughts. Surely one of the best and most underated editing videos in the style of Monogatari!
So if the edit is that good that would mean this type of edit do nothing but create noise and breaking the immersion since you could understand the character thoughts just by reading the room, the synonym of: Show don't tell.
You forgot the camera randomly zooming into someone's mouth or some random object in the background and the random speeding up and slowing down of the animation.
Most monogatari edits I see are absolute garbage that just puts random images between every 4/5 words, but this perfectly captures the direction style of monogatari, great job!
This was the _Jesse Reaper_ arc right? What transpired between him and Gale at the end of the season was truly heartbreaking. But the way it perfectly sets the tone for the next arc, _Gustavo Scheme,_ is nothing short of brilliant. Seriously though, masterclass edit.
Breaking Bad was kind of building its identity as it went along. A lot of drastic changes were happening in the script inbetween seasons so i can actually imagine it breaking down into distinctive arcs

the story does make sense, its just not consumer friendly, all seasons are released out of order, and also the episodes within the seasons are often out of order so its hard to understand unless you keep track of the date that is showing at the start of each episode, yeah I also really despise the stupid ass ecchi aspect of the show but if it weren't for that shit, it would be one of the greatest animated shows

Honestly more book adaptations should be edited like this. I hate when I'm watching a movie based on a book and it completely skips an important dialogue only to be replaced with a corny line and a CGI explosion to "create tension" (the "I, robot" movie comes to mind).
This is actually the correct way the edit were used in the show, oftentimes it was lines from the book explaining a characters inner thoughts or a complex emotion.
Monogatari has a lot of weird fanservice btw, just warning you. It's a great show, especially if you understand japanese since its got a lot of wordplays(I once heard it described as "what if worldplays & purple prose was visualized literally"), but it can be off putting to a lot of people.
I wish someone would fully animate this in that characteristic "draw it as it feels" style: The laundry a tiny, oppressive room with movie spot lights, somehow behind him a gigantic 50 feet tall washing machine, Mike dual-wielding bazookas.
