    In 20.20 minute, the protons of Propane will be homotopic. It can't be diasteteotopic because in diastereomers there must be a chiral center relative to the concerned center.

      Yes that's true....I was just trying to show you the bisection of protons by POS ....I wasn't saying the protons in propane will be diastereotopic

    I have doubt went hydrogen is reflecting and wen it is bisecting.... Aisa h kya wen hydrogen present at same carbon then they are bisecting and wen the plane ia pasing and they present at different carbon i.e reflection... 25.05 first example that hydrogen will bisect each other.. Isn't it

    Ha and Hc are mentioned diastereotopic, in second and third molecule (reference chloro substituted cyclo butane) , they are both cis with respect to each other and trans with respect to chlorine, why?

    In the last example around 42 min. If POS is applied, then Ha and Hb will be reflecting eachother. Can you please explain the same?

    At 38:23 secs the first molecule..is seeming..doubtful regarding homo and hetero it can be both I think..
    If the plane passes through Ha and Hb (both in one plane) cutting them across..
    Then it should be Diastereo topic na..
    And if the molecule is cut just perpendicular to previously chosen axis.. Then enantiotopic..
    And as u taught homotopic is clear..
    But which one is correct..mam😇..
    I will be thankful if my doubt gets cleared..

      If such situation arises in any molecule, then consider it to be homotopic.

      No it is disteriotopic.beacuse Ha proton is in equitorial and Hb proton is in axial so relation between them diastreotopic..

    In norborane system(39:10) u cn rmbr tht two endo protons r enantiotopic........also two exo H r enantiotopic but an exo and endo are mutually diastereotopic.

    Mam at 20:27 what example u have taken that should be homotopic,given is not chiral,both CH3 are on plane, so we can't find out the configuration as well even after replace with any other atom and there is a C2 symmetry,so it should be homotopic.. kindly check once.

    At 30:40 why are we bisecting 2 H..Ha and Hb...we can also pass a plane that will reflect Ha and Hb and bisect CH3 and H on both side...

      Here the priority of C2 axis is higher than a plan as mam talked about it previously.so we consider C2 here
