    Hey everyone !
    At 15:48 in this video ...the ques that I'm solving is right but the answer is Diastereomers not Enantiomers since the reactant already had a Chiral centre . Also the products that we get are also not the mirror images of each other but they have same connectivity ...so the ans is "they are Diastereomers"

    31.43 i hv one daught
    If we consider, in the reactant both methyl grp at axial positions... Then we get (R'-Me interaction =0.9 kcal/mol + R - Me interaction = 0.9kcal/mol) that is equal to 1.8 kcal/mol for reactant only.... And 1.8 kcal/mol for product... Therefore in total we get....... 1.8 (reactant) + 1.8 (product) = 3.6 kcal/mol

    In 20.03 min qsn how it is mirror image of each other H n tributyl also change in mirror image .And in qsn N attack is given in A ( product ) so how attack on other side for makes qsn of racemic himself.

    Hi maam.. apke ENANTIOTOPIC and diastreotopic differentiate kia hai between H1 and H2 v/s Br1 & Br2 ... usme apne H ko DIASTEREOTOPIC bola hai becoz they are bisecting(as u explained here) aur plane dono H k beech se paas ho rha hai.... Is that bisecting????????? Apki prev. Video me aapne hi smjhaya tha ki bisecting mtlb dono H ko half half kr rha ho plane... Yaha to jab kisi bhi H ko half hi nhi kia plane ne to howcome we are saying that they are bisected???
    MAAM ITNA BADA TYPE KIA HAI...

      They are getting bisected..plane is passing through the hydrogen atoms.

      Plane is cutting both hydrogen atom, if it was passing in between both hydrogen atom then it can be considered as enantiotopic
      But in our case it is just cutting both hydrogen

    Thank you mam for solving this previous questions.. but at 3:47 in this vedio i.e. in the 2nd question aap ne kaha mirror image nehi hai to superimosable kaise hua..?? I mean jab mirror image hi nahi hai to hum superimosable or non-superimposable detect kiun kare?

    At 21:37, the stereo of H & t-butyl is not changing, then how the two products are enantiomers? Because at 15:48 since the reactant already had a chiral centre, the products formed were diastereomers. Pls clear my doubt

      Yes you are right (c) option is correct. Product formed will be diastereomers

    Mam please check at 22:41 the position of oh and 2 degree amine is fixed with respect to tertiary carbon i.e given but stereochemistry is different

    mam, you have calculate delta G value for product 1.8 and reactant delta g value 0.9 in gauche value detrmination. what is the delta g value of reaction . will i subtract value from product to reactant for delta G for reaction. please explain?

      Ans is correct, procedure is wrong !!

    Identical molecules are also the mirror images of each other. Ap hi NE btaya tha. So how can u say in 3:26 or 2nd question. It is not mirror images but superimposed. Please elaborate it.

    Mam in q. 5,Me/Me has most gauche interaction but u said no gauche interaction should occur

    Mam , the gb int question at 31:20 min ,(ques of the year net ,dec,2012)...i think the ans should be 0.9 kcal /mol cuz here mention the ∆ G value....i.e (1.8-0.9=0.9)

      Yes ∆G = G (product) - G(reactant)
      = 1.8-.9 = 0.9

    at 30:28 its not chlorine its carbon tetra iodide. Chlorine exist in diatomic molecule only not in tetra-atomic molecule.

    34:11 the answer is correct but the procedure is wrong.....
    For the cis isomer there are 3 gauche butane interaction. So ∆G= (3×0.9)-0.9= 1.8 kcal/mol. Please check.

      The method she followed here is wrong. In the reactant there is only one G.B. interaction and in the product there is three G.B. interactions. So net change in G.B. interactions is (3-1) = 2
      So , delG = 2×0.9 = 1.8 .
      This is the correct method.

    @17:40 answer is regioisomer becauz markownikoff add gives major and minor product so regioisomers are formed. I hope I'm not mistaken.
