Madam all is right but during solving the question you wrote D is 3 g & L is 2 g, this is wrong. It should be like this; d is 3 g & l is 2 g. Because D and L are independent from d & l. D and L are configuration descriptor coined by Rosanoff Scientist taking glyceraldehyde as reference. D means dexter(German word means right side) while L means (Laevus German word means left side). While d & l are sign of rotation of plan polarised light, i.e., dextrorotatory(+) & levorotatory(-).
