    Topocity is an important topic of stereochemistry from where questions are asked in CSIR NET and IIT JAM both.

    At the examples of Homotopic, I couldn't find any heterotopic molecule. Is there any molecule which doesnot have a C2?

    In heterotopic, 4th is homotopic, due to c2&plane of symmetry

      C2 is absent due to same groups present in same side but centre of symmetry present

    According to me
    In examples of Homotopic 5th is Hetrotopic
    In examples of Hetrotopics 8th is confused because hydrogens are present in all carbons although they don't appear.
    In examples of enantiotopic & diasteareotopic all are correct examples.
    If am wrong then please explain.

      C2 lagao (180° rotation dekho) , C2 lagane se koi b Homotopic nhi banega..
      Don't apply plane of symmetry.
