Yeah I definitely want this haha. Fell in love with the full size as a kid. Dukes of hazard then fast and the furious. Got my photo with the original car at Universal when I was 12. Still have that photo. Been almost 20 years haha. This rc looks great. Only thing I say chassis wise.... Needs to be rear wheel drive. Keep it pure... Hahaha. Interior would be cool to. But man.... they killed it. I love the skyline to. But it's not a charger. I mean the hidden headlights sells the car.... plus a working blower.. That thang got a HEMI. Haha. Great video man. Family!
Charger every time! When you were talking about upgrades and making it “fast as possible” I was waiting for you to say and as furious as possible! Family!!
The hideaways do it. Big chuff... I can't choose, Matt. That's like Sophie's choice! And, yes.. more like this. It is "scale", which fits the channel. Now, time for that scale interior!
For anyone looking to pick up this car or body, just remember this is the longer wheelbase FZ02L chassis. Essentially this body's wheelbase won't match that of a more traditional touring car at 257mm. Great first impression, can't wait to see it run!
Kyosho has become one of my favorite brands. Especially the fazer lineup. My mad van VE is a favorite and my GTO is absolutely stunning. For less than $250. Fantastic!
Amazing. They went through all that trouble to make a spectacular body, then failed to use a magnet mount?!?! 🤦. That said, I think one of those will be coming home once I can get one (I'm sure they'll sell out quickly).
Really dig those hideaway headlights and the fact that the butterflies move. First car that has made me want to get into some street driving. Great vid, thanks for posting 🤙
gosh dang that car looks like a million bucks! definitely interested in it and seeing more like this on the channel! i started out hard with the crawlers but after a while it is fun to explore some other aspects of the hobby
They’re actually really good quality and pretty durable, I had the 70 chevelle from them and it was a nice piece. I got rid of it though and got a traxxas 4tec 2.0, if that Charger didn’t have the blower sticking out of the hood I’d like it better but other then that it’s a nice piece. It’s nice that it’s got a brushless system in it finally, that’s why I got the traxxas to be honest.
I think they choose not to just in case the F&F franchise gets as greedy as that lady who owns the rights to the "Eleanor" Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds.
I'd take the Charger, Duster, Chevelle, GTO, Lemans, Challenger or the almighty Super-Bird or my personal favorite Mopar the Barricuda. I'm sure I'm forgetting some others but u can't go wrong with any of the classic American (2-door V8) muscle cars. Sadly tho most RC Companys can't seem to realize this (with the exception of NO Prep,) or maybe they do but just don't want to pay for the licenses. But but they would probably make them all-wheel drive anyways. I've been eye ballin the Fazer line for for my first RC car and this seals the deal for me. Thx Matt!!
Got my first 1/10 crawler today. The Element Enduro Sendero HD. First decals that I put on the body was the SBG one. I liked this review.. something different but still scale.
So happy you like this. I discovered the Fazer line when I got Kyosho's Chevelle SS a couple years ago. I have a few on-road RTR's from other manufacturers as well and the Fazer is vastly superior to those. Anyway, the Chevelle is fast, handles great and is tremendous fun to drive. Can't wait to see yours on the road someday soon - when the snow clears of course.👍
I've got the brushed Challenger in blue that I've been wanting to drop a brushless system in. I may just toss that one on a marketplace and use the funds to finance one of these beauties. Muscle Cars are far too rare in the RC world so it's always good to see more of them.
Nice to see Kyosho love :) Would be nice given the weather if you have another vid on the mini z 4runner. It's got some decent upgrades and the body is just gorgeous! Keep it in the "family"
the detail on this body looks extremely good, so good that i wouldnt play that rig outside i would keep is on my desk, would be pleased if the chassis would follow the quality of the boddy also..
I think kyosho is underrated in the RC world but I think there products are awesome. The Fazer chassis is amazing! I do not have one of there on road but I have the Mad Van and it is one of my favorite bashers to drive. I would love for you do do a upgrade series on this car and show kyosho some love. Haha.
I definitely agree that Kyosho is underrated. So many amazing vehicles, but until I drive it, I can't really say if I'd upgrade it. Thanks for watching!
Man!, just what I was hoping, somethings do come true!!. Now I can make my General Lee lights come to life. I used one of these 1st bodies and turned it into a General lee and now I can use the headlights which I had planned but now much easier. CooooL. Nice to know you love these bodies too Matt. had no idea bro. cool
Definitely would pick the Charger over the Nissan. The headlight covers are a really nice touch. The "wings" by the back window are a nice detail as well. The aluminum center shaft is absolutely necessary IMO and with some run time the plastic shafts at the wheels would probably have to be replaced. I would like to see it next to a TF2, for scale reference. Body posts, AARGHH!
One of the most anticipated releases from Kyosho. Thanks for your review! Kyosho has continued to dominate the American On road classic car market where HPI and Vaterra/ Losi dropped off. This one takes the cake though with all of the additional features. Street price will be around 329.00 US. New to this release also are the molded wiper blades, a first for Kyosho. I’m surprised they stopped there and did not include molded door handles. I’m interested to try out the new motor/ esc, top speed about 44 mph on this one out of the box with adding a 2s lipo. Can’t wait!
@@scalebuildersguild yeah I figured there were light buckets in it just thought it would look so cool to see those open and lights actually shine through very cool
If the Charger didn't have the blower it would be the easy choice. The clean lines of the Skyline make it tempting. I'm sure I'll have to get one or the other.
Hey Family who’s going to clean up this damn mess y’all made in the kitchen cooking all that chicken 🐓 haha , really like slider covers over the headlights and the details of race que all over the kyosho nice Fast and Furious line for the win.
I have considered a few Fazer platforms in the past, but had a question as to the construction... how is the plastic? Are we talking Traxxas Plastic, or Tamiya Plastic?
Fun SBG review video, enthusiastically and dilligently covering all important fine details. How about bringing the Charger with you to Alabama? And perhaps coincidental or on purpose, you are so right: family. In this case, our worldwide RC family. A great theme as far as I am concerned for season 2022. Thank you, bring on tyre smoke!!
This is the first time seeing a Kyosho RC car, that body looks sweet, how will it fare against a table leg? what's the cost on a replacement body? Thanks for sharing
Charger!!! I grew up in this era. I had Mustangs, Camaros, GTOs. I always wanted a bad ass Dodge however my father wouldn't let me. I guess that he knew me better than I knew myself. I would have been dead! Just Saying
@@scalebuildersguild awesome, thank you I actually went today to a local hobby shop with the dimensions and the emax and savox micro servos dont fit in it.
Don't brake your fazer. You might not get it fixed soon, or ever if your not constantly looking for the parts you need when they become available. Really hard to find the upgrades and some of the parts that can break easily. Very awesome rc car though. I have the black Chevelle, the blue Camaro and the el Camino
That's the best Vin Diesel you'll get out of Vin Diesel.. 😂 😂 😂 😜. My favourite VD line is.... "Mmmmph mmumm mm mmff mmph mmm".. I forget which movie that iconic line is from..
Looks great, kyosho just needs to come up with their own come hither mounting system and ditch the body posts.
Totally agree.
Nothing says "lexan-body-toy" like a good set of body posts and clips! 😋
You'd think that they would have been the first to figure something like that out 🤔
Yeah, it looks pretty epic...🤘🏼💯✔️
This is a must own for me, my step dad has a 68 & 69 and I had a 70 dodge charger original plump crazy purple

I’ll have to go for both. Kyosho makes some awesome body’s and I already own 3 of them, it wouldn’t hurt to own two more 😎 lol
Dodge all day.. great looking car.
No doubt! Thanks for watching!
You need a micro servo to open the luvers on the carb when you hit the throttle.
Amazing. They went through all that trouble to make a spectacular body, then failed to use a magnet mount?!?! 🤦. That said, I think one of those will be coming home once I can get one (I'm sure they'll sell out quickly).
For those interested, the Charger (based on current exchange rates and Japan pricing) is about $464 USD, the Nissan $329 USD.
I agree, body clips totally ruin a beautiful body. Especially at that price point.
Exactly!
I don't think it's a straight exchange like you're suggesting. We'll see pricing soon though!
I ordered the SSD locking hub kit for my SCX10. I cant wait for it to get here.

I'd go for the charger all the way and i agree with you on the yellow lettering. I always thought it looks tough too.
That Kyosho is fantastic! nice video homie
Nice car, Great review, I run my on road cars in underground parking lots in the winter.
Nice to have that option!
I wish (Kyosho), make another color for the (Charger in Black 1971, Dominic Toretto version), This is Amazing product ever!😀

The Dodge! I just wish it was a '69 RT/SE. The '70's open element front grill has always left it wanting, in my opinion.

It's begging for a sound unit and a micro-servo on the butterflies. #family
Brian Spilner for the win: the skyline looks better, but Kyosho has made a couple of very nice looking cars here.
Love the headlights need some LEDs in the buckets though that would be so cool to see them open and actually have lights that were on behind them

Because family!!! 🤠
I must have one.

She looks badass Matt. I have the fazer Camaro, Chevelle and El Camino and it’s a real fun platform. It’s time to add this Mopar to the stable 👍🏻
I wish we could get the Red Chevelle, or at least the body, Stateside.

Dodge all the way brother.
Needs a micro servo on the blower mixed with throttle input would be amazing
It needs a servo controlled weight that they ws it into a wheelie on launch
I'd be completely sold if it had a Shaker hood and Plymouth badges... meep meep!
Will this eventually show up on the Kyosho America site? What will the price be in USD...$460? The link you provided does not appear to be a US site.
Kyosho's from Japan. As it gets released here officially, I'll update the link.
Will this fit on a 1/10 scale trailer? Looking to tow this behind my bronco
Potentially, check the dimensions online to confirm!
The supra fazer is a very nice JDM ,NOW A charger very cool
