I just ordered one from Active Powersports I have a full scale SS 396 L78 cortez silver with black rally stripes I don't understand why Kyosho put LS6 on an SS 454 that's LSX typically oh well I can print a 396 L78 sticker I'm excited to get this delivery great review Tony 😉👍
I know right? still a very good representation as far as lexan bodies go, but ya, they clearly arent that worried about the little stuf...like those stripes on the deck lid....GAHHHH!......lol. i have a 69 SS396 4sp 12 bolt car, i wanna get the Kyosho 69 elcamino, but the bumpers are hideous.....i'll prolly just pull the front one......and these wheels are a little cringeworthy also.........
Great video as always mate... well done Kyosho, what do you know, a manufacturer can deliver a range of FANTASTIC looking cars on a great chassis, with a really good ergonomic radio all RTR at a great price.. Beautiful body. I want the Chevelle and the Camaro. Looks like the punch for the body holes needs adjusting (on the manufacturing line). They appear to be punched too far forward. That's OK, I'll mod the posts to get it perfect. Nice vid. -"Angry" Dave
Great video man, Kyosho did a great job with these cars for the price. These models are pretty much the same reason that I got into onroad cars. Very temped to get a Madvan also they look like lots of fun.

Hi I'm new to your channel I have one for 2 years drove it twice buy mine did not come with deans plugs so I modified it cut the wires and welded a deans plug to it ran a 5000 Mah lipo bat in it it ran beautiful. I stored it away for a move several months finally took it out for a spin she ran for 10 minutes and stopped would not connect to the esc , ordered another escape did the same thing I'm not a pro can anyone help .
Are the tires hard or softer rubber? The first thing I’d do, if possible, is replace those tires with hard rubber slicks. That thing should be drifting, not “off roading”. I’d probably run those tires till they are slick!!
Too much time running monster trucks makes you forget cars won't climb over curbs. It does look like a solid little chassis for bashing and getting into the hobby.
Love this car I own a real one but why wouldn’t they no body post mount the body with that much detail. Or give the buyer the option to mount it themselves before drilling the holes. The body looks awesome minus the post holes. The rims aren’t anything like they should look like for a chevelle. Still very cool
Is it just me or do the rear wheels look like they're set too far back in the wheel well openings? It's like the body was made for a car with a slightly shorter wheelbase.
I don’t believe all of them are like this. Most that I’ve seen aren’t like this. My holes might be off just a bit. FreshqueezedRC thought mine looked off.
The bodies are all off on the Chevelles on the ones Ive seen on line . It seems they drilled the body holes in the wrong position. The body holes should be a few millimeters / 3/16" forward. Factory manufacturing error it seems.

Looks so good! My Kyosho Rage uses the Fazer chassis as well. They have used that chassis on tons of different cars

These cars often used hood pins. Wonder if you could modify the body mounts so they are where the stock hood pins go..

Be leery of Active Powersports. They’ll list it as in stock even if they don’t have it. Then they order it. Guessing this is hard to get right now.
