Great video, enjoyed the break-downs and comparisons, interesting to see the tweaks they've made over time. The alter-ego General Lee is very very cool, I dig it!
Curious if you have tried fitting the Malibu Intl hard body on the Kyosho chassis? It seems to me this would be a great solution to the 1970 vs 1969 inconsistencies.
The black and white decals are from Ebay. The decals on the orange car are from MCI Racing. The black decals are very high quality, but the roof flag is too narrow. I'll be doing a Malibu hard body soon, and I'm going to use slightly scaled down MCI decals for that car.
I have a Malibu international body on a duratrax vendetta buggy chassis that I’m happy with but as far as size proportions and body lines and stuff like that which do you feel is more accurate after they’re both done like you did here does the kyosho look better in the end or what’s your opinion on something like that I just hate to spend so much money because idd want to buy the brushless chassis then buy the spare orange charger shell if I decide to dive into the kyosho
The Malibu body is more accurate than the Kyosho, but I don't like the front grill or the rear taillights on the Malibu. The front area of the window opening needs work too, but overall I think the Malibu is the better body. My main issue with the Malibu is chassis options and the fact that the scale, while more dimensionally accurate, doesn't match up as well with other cars, so if you're going to use it with other cars, it can look off.
Was tempted to get the Kyosho Charger recently until i found the SG PINECONE FOREST 1/10 Dodge Charger. Much better chassis and cheaper then the Kyo 70. Has working led lights and front grille., hobby wing esc and motor, too good to ignore!
that grey General Lee is super sweet! Nice re-imagining of an icon

Thanks. I've been calling it the "Midnight General". 😁
Very cool video. I feel your passion. I think plastic parts, particularly within the suspension, don't come into play unless there's a ceash.
Good job going over both models. I’m itching to order the clear brushless just for a project. Yup they never stop. 😆
Good job, thanks! I thought they were the same other than the blower.

The malibu body is way too narrow for the Kyosho. The Malibu needs a stretched mini chassis to work. I'll have a video for that eventually.
I NEED A RC GENERAL!!!!!!
Nice video good info on the different classy where do you get your decals at I need some for my hardbody

So I want to build one but I don't know what kind of Chassis to get
The original general lee was black. Watch the general Lee's birthday episode it's 1 of my favorites

Looks interesting, but I'm not sure how good the body will be for a General Lee build.
Very cool video and awesome subject not only do I love everything Hazard I also love everything charger as well. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist
What's the difference? The same as the difference between a chunk of carbon and a diamond.
I never expected the body to have so many new/improved parts.
Kol Me Plex Iwte 1970 Ed🙏🙏
The difference is one car has a confederate flag on it and the other does not.
Uh, no? They both have it.
