This was really good. No one over talked the others, and the host actually did her homework and knew all the shows. I love seeing the respect they all had for each other. It was very humbling.
If only the camera angle and seating had been properly thought out

I thought it was funny when Ted Danson said you can't improvise Shakespeare, and Thomas Middleditch is sitting to his right and he has done an improv show called Improvised Shakespeare for 10 years.

Except he didn't say 'can't'. Just that the idea of it, would stick out negatively in the type of show he does. Some just want to see/hear what they want. Nonetheless, it was a fun interview and everyone felt very likeable.

This is a really terrific and fun discussion, but William H. Macy relaying Geoffrey Rush's tip on how to cry on camera (at 48:41) is seriously GENIUS along with the Tracee's and Ted's reactions to it.
yeah sorry but I only see blatant disrespect and irresponsibility by the camera team when I can't see one of the guests behind the head of the host, much less one of the best voices in the room. Issa deserves to at least be seen.

When Ted Danson mentions that the writers of his show 'The Good Place' credit 'Last Man on Earth' for heralding (as the interviewer, Sarah, put it) their show (The Good Place), I have to say it's hard to disagree with that.
That makes so much sense now that they make the point of both shows kind of being within the same vein of originality in subject, which would I think naturally result in the uniquely humorous moments that form from each premise.
super late: but I think the host should have been placed where Ted and Lily were seated because it's extremely awkward to watch

Why is this seating so awkward. I really enjoy the conversation but the way the camera blocks off Issa Rae when it pulls into a wide shot. I wanna see Issa Rae - that's an important shot. Something to think about - next time when filming

It's how I got my agent, he says he doesn't really bother with anyone who doesn't have a product of some sort. and my stuff was online and in the stores, some stores, and he saw my stuff online and wanted to work with me.
I feel like Lily Tomlin didn't enjoy/get some of the jokes they were improvising, she didn't really laugh or smile sometimes. It was kinda distracting me haha anyway, great video, just have the interviewer sit in the rear so she doesn't block anyone.

All they had to do was pull the near end of both couches out a little bit at an angle so we could see all the actors. LA Times totally just phoned this one in, lazy and unprofessional.
