Use multicolored zip ties for vacuum lines. One on the line, one where it goes. They won't rub off like paint and look much better. Also you can leave them on all the time so you only have to do it once.
Thank you very much ! You have no idea how helpful your video is! I'm dealing with 1990 v6 that has been Frankenstined. Appears manual trans out of newer model. I say that because speedometer cable disconnected & ziptied to frame rail. Where drive gear is on back of transfer case is electric connector instead of threads to connect cable. Will older still drive gear interchange? Also until warmed up intermittent gutless no power barely run won't restart unless throttle 1/2 to3/4 depressed . Starts dies a dozen times them runs normal???
Good on you TOYOTA ;) You've taken something simple and turned it into something really complicated. i thought the whole idea of EFI was to eliminate the need for all this little things.
Lol. I agree with you Abe. I am a well versed Senior Tech and know how complicated Toyota made that specific system which is why I made the video originally for a self guide but then I realized others could benefit and was why I shared the video. I hope you found some help from the video. Thanks for watching my video please remember to click the like button and subscribe to my channel for updates on new videos.
@@BlutoO220 I believe so. The automatic trans does not use any vacuum operations for control that are eliminated on the manual. Only differences may be between California emissions and federal, Cali emissions may have air injection in exhaust.
OMG!!! I swear I tried to trace those hoses, but it's impossible with your hand obstructing the track " this one goes here (where?) That one goes there (where?) Please make this video again trying to show the starting and the end points clearly. It's too important for me coz I've lost all the hoses positions. Tried to follow instructions in various diagrams, but none is the same of my car's. Your is exactly the same and never touched, but couldn't see all things I wanted. Along with your hand in front of things you passed too fast from one point to another avoiding the complete vision. Thanks for the video.
I will check my archive for the video and any related footage and post for you if I have time between my busy work schedule. I understand the frustration why I recorded that truck.
I guess there charcoal canister that has Purge on one side and tank on the other, I'm looking for the purge line. What vacuum line goes to the purge side?
This helps but man do i got a bitch to work with, just bought my brothers ‘94 to find half the vaccum lines either misrouted, or non existent like with the 4wd and the damn PCV valve
Maaaan thank you! It's also amazing to set the playback speed to .25 light a skewb turn on Jethro Tulls thick as a brick for background. Epic break
