Use multicolored zip ties for each vac line. One on the hose and one where it goes. If you need to, double up for more color options. Snip off the excess and leave them on. Never have to guess again !!

Hi Matthew, I want to say thank you for the extremely detailed video it has helped me re-construct my sons vacuum lines after 3 mechanics destroyed the ability to connect them normally. I want to ask if you could make another video or just tell me 2 other much need answers. The first is you reference the Top T line on the very small pencil vacuum lines with 1 on the left and 1 on the right, the one on the left connects to the Brown VSV-FPU (vacuum switching valve for Fuel Pressure Up) backside (closest to the engine) the right side connects to the blue VSV-AS (air suction) in the front (closest to the fender) has a black/orange check valve in the line. Can you tell me where the T'd line along the firewall connects on the other side? The second question is would you give more information on the Charcoal canister? I know it has two lines on top, the line closest to the firewall connects to the BVSV-EVAP (top port) but where does the 2nd top line connect, and mine also has a flexible line underneath the canister that I do not know where it connect. I think it should connect to a hardline going to the fuel tank. If you could help I would really appreciate it. I am desperate to put my son's truck back on the road after we just had a new engine put in and those mechanic's if you want to call them that just cut every line, installed the motor and called it good! Can't trust them after other parts of the truck was damaged as well very difficult time trying to clean-up all the mess from all the mechanics. I really hope you check your comments as this video is the only accurate documentation on the 91-92 V6 4runner 4WD 3VZE motor.

I’ve got a 95 4Runner, wondering where your fuel return line runs to. Can’t find the hookup for mine or I’ve got some hoses backwards

At 2:51 in bottom left of video there is a plastic wrapped hose(or 2)...(pig tail wrapped in plastic cover). I noticed on my '95 I just got, there are 2 hoses wrapped like that and they are both cut (torn, looks like)...anyone know what they are and where they should go? It' like a spider web of hoses and I have no clue what they are. They could be why I am having acceleration issues...!

    • @eddielorenzana2320

Did you find out what your acceleration issues were? I'm having a the same issues on a 95 4runner

@@eddielorenzana2320 Can you detail the issue you are having? (I have done so much work and learned even more since that comment. I found out the 2 hoses were for my 4wd vacuum lines. They attach to front differential. Do you have 3vze? I have replaced almost every part now, so I can try to help if you can list your symptoms.

@@TheWeirdSide1 which ones are for the 4x4 I need to block mine off

Are you asking which vacuum hoses go to 4WD differential? Passenger fender behind cruise control motor. That's assuming you have same setup as me.
See the plastic wrapped set of hoses in middle of image?...follow them to fender..they attach to bottom of both of those green/red VSV looking things. The other end of them goes to front differential. www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/help-vacuum-hoses-truck-3vze-1991-4x4-v6-295378/#&gid=1&pid=2 (the second image)
