    Thank you.
So glad those reached you safely.
Can not wait you dive in to them one by one :)
Yes sadly many of modern fragrance present us impressions of the ingredients. Not actuall ingredients.
Oud. Musk. Ambergris. Even Tonka is replaced long ago with coumarin and other synthetic alternatives that smell much less alive then the real thing.
Chinese co2 is a new generation plantation oud oil. Not the one used in Chinese oud. There we used wild vintage oud oil that way more animalic and complex. Co2 from plantation agarwood gives you very simple clean Woody resinous vanilic type of aroma. Simple and affordable oud oil just for your reference.
Talking about prices... yes I feel you. I myself sometimes love a fragrance but a price tag stop me from buying it. Not because I can't afford it but because I feel that the brands are not very fair with pricing... :(

    • @RamseytheRam
      @RamseytheRam  2 года назад +5

That is a great point at the end Adam... it does feel like some brands (we all know who they are) are unfair with their pricing model. I am a little amazed that even though you could clearly charge more you chose not to ... really speaks to the brand you created 🙏
Thank you again I just want you to know this gift really moved me ... one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me 🥲

Maybe you can do a Live Chat with Russian Adam when you first try some of the oils?
Russian Adam did a video on a vintage Russian perfume he bought.
Maybe the new release is the one Taha spoke of. Taha does Agar Aura.
Ramsey. You could do a Live Chat with Russian Adam and you could both be putting on an oil at the same time.
Feel Oud did a sandalwood which is pristine. 1000K I believe.
Certain parts of the world, along with older perfume aficionados, like unadulterated sandalwood.
So while you're sampling it, Russian Adam can explain it to you and us.
I think it would be a great idea.
Learning how to do live chat won't be hard. There are videos informational videos, How to Do,
plus Eugene and Rich could help you.
Koh-i-Noor was a perfume Russian Adam and Nikhil did.
Nikhil had an idea, and Russian Adam made the perfume.
Nikhil is Exotic Scents here on RUclips.
Good for you mate. Very nice things happen for those who work hard at what they love.

ive since bought a bottle of this and it is magnificent. ive been using ouds for 30 odd years and this is the best i have smelled. to me smells nothing like the night. the night to me is a westernised oud,it might be strong and fecal compared to other westernised ouds but id still classify it as westernised. while this unapoligetically mid eastern.

Arabic perfumes are just on a different level. Spirit of Dubai have very good quality. The Night is closer to Mukhallat Shams by Ajmal which is a fraction of a price. That animalic oud opening and dries down to a beautiful rose. Although with Mukhallat Shams, it's something you have to spray the night before on your shirt you will be wearing the next day to smell that beautiful dry down. 😅

I am a big fan of Spirit of Dubai's first collection, less so the 2nd one. I really like the Oud fragrance, but like you, although extremely beautiful, I feel that it is over priced. If it was $400 or under, I'd pull the trigger. Fortunately, the other fragrances are significantly less expensive. I purchased bottles of Turath and Rimaal and love them both. Rimaal is a funny one for me as I usually hate sweet fragrances. However, this one comes off as sweet and dry and for some reason or another, I love it. The exception that proves the rule. I think you will like Medan, which has a beautiful heavy leather. I've been thinking about grabbing a bottle of that one, myself. What comes to mind for me is that it is vintage Polo green viewed through a Middle Eastern lens.
Also, with the samples, you can slide of the ribbon ring off in order to unroll the scrolls that wrap around the container. Each perfume has its own write-up.

Wow wow look at what you got from Adam, serious samples from a seriously true artist of the raw and undiluted unrefined real deal Oud and oil distilling master. Not worthy I heard you say, well now Rams it’s pretty obvious Adam quite definitely thinks you are fella and to my knowledge he has never given such a treasure trove to anyone else .that speaks volumes you nose and his are kindred spirits ,do you not think Adam ,a lover of all that is classic vintage has multiple fragrances from your collection himself and has been listening to you takes on them and from these reviews he can discern you have knowledge in abundance when it comes to a real knowledge of the fragrance art .Plus you rightly called out one of his collaborations ,you know of which I speak and he most probably in his heart of heart knows your truth,so to conclude I really think he now has a constructive critic of which he can trust and instead of maybe second guessing himself can look to a honest second opinion from your good self and he would be so right to do so .He is sending you all these and a sample of a unnamed new release ,imo to put you nose to a final test he will rate what you have to say on his samples knowing already in his minds eye, which ones will get you thumbs up or down and when your opinions concur with what he is expecting you to say ,he will have a top notch second nose to ask opinions on in the future. Of course I am speculating, but if I were him your exactly the perfect person for the job 👍sorry for the long winded comment (not sorry) it’s my truth 🙏✌️
