I gave Jinx a real effort. I found the fragrances I experienced to be quite muddled and extremely quiet. Even after spraying, sometimes it was like nothing was there. My nose is extremely sensitized, and it was like I really had to search for any kind of scent. Beautiful presentations.. but not grabbing my desires, needs, and wants out of a fragrance. Having the highest quality ingredients these days doesn't necessarily mean a star has been born.... the art of fragrance is not as simple as it might seem....❤
I’m Founding that out more and more. Jinx are now flanking too much V1,V2,V3 blah blah and ensar is over flanked now with extreme pricing. So called rare ingredients and 500 ingredients in one frag is starting to run me away. Artisan usually is a work of art but it’s becoming more money grabbing and one can see that with sooooo many being resold and decanted I’m like man this has worn me thin searching for great products not just okay products for crazy prices 😊
@edwardlawler9487 Yes... fragrance enthusiasts need to realize that incredible 5 star fragrances can be born by even using basic well-known ingredients. Don't know if I've grown harsh or over it with paying a lot for mediocre fragrances... but I've grown to give an artisan perfumer one chance to pull my heart strings with their craft and gift for perfuming.
@@islandspicehawaii that’s so true as so many basics that makes vintage fragrances are overlooked now. Keep it simple but with a twist of creations versus reformed would go a long way. I’ve sold so many bottles this year even my second bottle ensars due to researching and what was used originally got replaced and took away from the beauty but came along a sticker price. Great points you made
@@pauliusmatonis1492 I must say every first release of the ensars, areejs, bortnikoff etc has never been outdone and I always wonder why they can’t go back to those passions of making frags
Cheers Rams, great inside info, and fair play to Arther for the full disclosures on this one , that said I am gonna try grab the new Areej set for 200 dollars more from a tried and proven Artisinal perfume master who’s bottle presentations are amazing.Just my opinion,no shade intended, have a good one buddy 🤛👊💪
I have 8 Jinx and sampled many. Some are moderate in strength, some are very strong and projecting and last on me till the next day. Love this house and perfumer. Natural perfumery, transparency, great customer service in my experience.. And of course I love the smell of the perfumes I've purchased. Be good if you get to give Kastuku a go.. 😊
Hi Ramsey, I really like your enthusiasm and positive energy when you share your thoughts about fragrances, I havent's tried this particular fragrance you're talking about in this video, but I'm curious to hear your opinion on every new fragrance you discover and unbox in your videos, I'm so glad I've found your channel, it's my favourite fragrance channel at the moment. Oh and I really enjoyed Luciano Pavarotti fragrance video! :)
Hey Ramsey, I’m pretty new to your channel and I love your honesty and descriptions. I was wondering cause this is the “closest” I’ve smelled to oud, what are your thoughts on Louis vuttion pur oud? If you’ve smelt it or have a sample or something!
Amazing vid. Im back in London and on day 5! I hit Bloom niche store. They have insane # of unknown frags to most. You have to have a list before coming in because it is like a pharnacy display selection. There is a fragrance lookup tool on there that is the best. Harrods is also impressive. I tried Jusbox 54 and got samples. Amazing! Also Patchouli Paris quite nice. That is the new Guerlain. The journey continues. Btw have you heard of Molton Brown?
J.musk v1 is amazing i got 5 from Jinx every single one of them performance extremely well i cant say anything about V3 havent smelled it yet but Overall Jinx and Ensar are the two stand out artisinal brands and im very picky.
Yeah JINX is a really good house from what I have smelled so far , quality & well blending... I just wish it had MORE But to be fair sometimes air needs to get into these bottles and then they open up & bloom
Looking very mafioso in this attire with those locks at the moment 🤘🏻💃🏻. Keeping my nose out of this one for now, have so many artisanal/other musks that I want to barf. Hoping that these houses slow down and curate the process a bit more vs pushing out shit like conglomerates are…
They go for alot less in the reselling groups... there's a huge purge going on in them and only a few Areej and Ensar OG's being held onto... rest are being dumped.
Sorry, completely off topic. Did you recently get an email from Strangelove NYC? I had one today. This renowned niche fragrance brand is set to unveil their first new fragrance in over six years on November 1st at Harrods, London. While details about the new release remain scarce, the brand’s history of launching just six fragrances in the past decade highlights their thoughtful and meticulous approach to perfumery, making this upcoming launch all the more exciting. I am super excited about this.
Nice video - I'm curious what your thoughts are about the new Areej Le Dore collection...The Arabian Collection. Do you think they are worth going after or just a side step, especially after the Musk and History of Oud collections?
I still to this day dont understand why people complain about the price, nobody is forcing you to buy. Plus i never see anyone complain to a painter about the artwork pricing saying the paint and canvas only cost 15 dollars. Artist value there intellectual property, and most importantly they value there time. The people that value that particular person's intellectual property and time will pay for that. That's how this works. Yall have to stop this.
That's fair enough if there is actual genuine artistry... not just material heavy 'soups' that litterally anyone can buy, mash together and bottle. Every man and his dog, have jumped on the bandwagon selling musk/oud soup, and people are falling for it and stockpiling them like they are a commodity like gold and diamonds, because they believe the tales of extinct species and collection from royal vaults, and think they sitting on a future goldmine! And yet I've seen zero testing or evidence of any of a certain oil house's claims who cornered the market in selling 'magic beans' to the majority of artisanal houses, along with their own offerings.

Forgot to ask-so when is he going to make that bangin stanky ass animalic as hell offering for which more than a few us have been looking? I need time to budget 😂😢
