I've always thought to myself that the way people always LOVE to send you things... Lots of things (I mean perfumes), you must be a very kind-hearted gentleman yourself who must be very generous! ❤That actually makes me love you more because I love people who are always willing to give out, Ram. Thank you for this mother of all Hauls video! 😅
Anooj is a Saint - so generous! Enzo Galardi founded both Bois 1920, as well as the short-lived Profumo di Firenze. Don't hold too high expectations for the Tom Fords, although Neroli Portofino Forte is a gem. Sadly discontinued, a victim of the Lilial ban a couple years ago. Definitely a more intense version of the OG Neroli Portofino, with maybe a deeper, woodier leather accord in the base.
I just got my first vintage from Anooj today (CK Escape from 1998 ... it's all I can afford at the moment and I love the scent). I just can't believe the difference between the modern and vintage. We really didn't know how lucky we were back in the day! Thanks for the videos and introducing me to Anooj/Enchante Perfumes. I'll try to seek out some others in the future. Cheers!
That’s a decent xerjoff. Accento overdose is a beautiful floral I liked. haven’t worn it in a while so opinion might have changed but I liked it in the heat
Jinx's Hainan Fougere is mind-blowingly beautiful.....I only have one and tried one as well.... Quite a few in my wishlist.....man you are lucky to receive quite a few of them, deservedly so for doing such a great for the community! Best wishes....
Ramsey ripping packages open while holding a giant knife 😱😱🤕Careful, my friend. I stabbed myself in the chest with a pair of scissors doing that, and I'm one to be super cautious with things like that but I let my guard down. Awesome fragrances! You have the absolute most generous friends. You definitely don't see "big" youtubers getting packages from friends. Just shows how everyone perceives you and looks at you like a friend they've known their whole life
Hye Ramsey, wanted to ask but got busy at work, do you think Kajal Kawlaj would be a good option if I cannot get vintage Bel Ami where I live and without paying 400+, while the Sawlaj can get it for 200 for the 100ml?
@@perfumeryjournal95 yes I think it would be a great starter... and then if you love it you can decide if you want to drop the dough on vintage bel ami
@@RamseytheRam i had Bel Ami Vetiver at it was light on my skin, the leather did pop out and I have a small 8ml of the old bel ami and it smelt similar in the air but on my skin the leather was muted sadly, I really want to love these old school leathers but my skin treats leather like bergamont, its gone in an hour and is barely there have the same issue with Cuirtis from ALD
@@allenlinares8758 that's the nature it's BECOME. Don't make it the standard. Most perfumers keep records they could easily make it again... Creating artificial scarcity is terrible and simply bad for business. Yeah seems great at first but limits buying power.
What's crazy is some of my favorite Sherwood fragrances are the ones that were available for almost a year and no one bought... things like paradise & Czar So I agree the mad rush in limited quantities is a turn off but I understand why
@@tjpfz6 again. You don’t seem to understand. . Limited by creative desire to keep making the same over and over again, limited by materials, limited by demand, so many factors. Not one of the fragrances reviewed have marketing behind them labeling limited, get them before they are gone. The truly low stock one is the j musk v3, which is limited due to the limited amount of materials which should be evident by itself or if one bothered to even read the listing.
That beautiful knife needs some sharpening Bro!... And by the way, I always love yourself Hauls! For me, everything from this channel is learn learn learn! ❤❤❤
Good day ram. Would love to hear about the jinx reviews. Too me it’s over priced and just another money grabber that has added flankers. I bought the Legacy 2 for $700 and let’s just say it was thrown together nothing to rave about. When someone starts at $500 I rather go to someone who puts some thought into the product not hype or these rare ingredients they all are claiming now 😅
If artisan brands send free bottles of perfumes that are "extremely" limited, maybe they are not so at all and are not worth the money that "perfumers" charge for them... Ramsey, I hope you will be honest in your review of Jinx and that you like Arthur won't make you rate his work better than others. Each of us is only human, but our sympathy for the creator should not be the main factor influencing the assessment, because it clearly affects each of us. Btw i have to say that i will never buy a snigle bottle from brand that is sending free bottles to influencers. If they can send free bottles then it means that juice inside isnt worth the money they ask for. For example look at Adam, he send you only samples and never full bottle, bcs he respects his clients.
You gotta do what you feel is right for you man ... I won't let the fact that it is a 15 or 30 ml bottle effect my thoughts on the issue when I discuss them🤷🏻♂️
People don't like to hear this, but please don't kid yourself that you're getting 250 of ingredients from a 500 perfume, from any house whatsoever, it's a sales myth, even with artisal & indy! They aren't any different from all the industry, just tiny overheads compared to designers. Every perfumer and house is making a very good living, if not getting rich from the business, and it sure is a business, like it or not, that works on a 1-5% perfume cost + packaging with profit margins 90-65% depending if you're direct to consumer or not... and that even applies to the likes Russian Adam who's gone from sharing a rented apartment to owning a luxury house in relatively few years, with just limited releases... and he's dwarfed by Ensar release scale who's made himself a millionaire. Josh Lobb who only release one batch a year and lives a very good life from it. I highly rate Les Indemodables with their high quality ingredients for niche, but they also are in Lucky Scent who take a flat 50%, and they pay a percentage to the perfumer (contract royalties) they advertise, and all the other costs, and yet still make a very good profit.... so all being said Jinx can afford not to loose sleep over $5-20 per bottle cost, as Les Indemodables don't over giving Lucky 50%.
@@Andy_T79 I’m sorry man, but if you think these things cost me $20-$50 to make, you’re on another planet. My margins are low: this is a passion project for me. I operate a blog where I break down these costs and talk actual industry talk with people behind the scenes. That bottle of J-Musk he’s holding costs about $212 to make. That’s just materials. Not packaging or my time. There are some brands out there who arent honest, but I do things differently. Ask anyone in the know
You sure don’t understand how “limited” is relative. Big brands have batches and people go crazy about having different batches. So as much as these are called limited is because they truly are and or it’s the batch.

Very interesting... didn't realize that's why they Discontinued it 🥲
@@RamseytheRam Yeah, the Lilial ban took down a bunch of fragrances. I think most designers these days don't want to deal with trying to reformulate.
J musk is 🔥 one of the best purchases for me this year 😎
Wearing it today and this is a reference musk fragrance for people who don't like their musk to animalic

How do you recommend starting a fragrance RUclips channel
Just turn on the camera and start recording... the hardest first step to take is actually taking the first step
