Learned to play middle line-backer in high school (state champ team) and the coach come walking out the first day of two a days (AUGUST in Northern Virginia) and informs us that we would be playing RAIDER defense! EVERY ball that was thrown had a TOLL to be paid by those receivers! Usually by halfway through the third quarter of game the receivers spent more time looking for the coverage than the ball!

I was a raider fan for 40 years. I hated the losing for the last 17 years, but never gave up on them until davis tried holding Oakland hostage and then abandoned the city that welcomed them back after his dad abandoned them. perhaps if al and marc spent more time building a team instead of extorting a private industry building they would still be great. tom brady could not have played in any era other than right now. had he played any time when quarterbacks were actual players, he would never have lasted. also, to me, the way qb's are protected now diminishes all of the passing records. when drew brees isn't allowed to be hit, how can he be compared to qb's like Johnny Unitas?

On offense get rid McFragile and MJD and start running Latavius Murray. Draft the next Julio Jones or Dez Bryant in Amari Cooper. Our receivers are pathetic. I think Carr has a chance. If he had a running game and a top receiver he could put up 4,000 a year and 30 TD's. WE may be 0-10 as of this writing but I still believe there's light at the end of the tunnel.
