Thanks for the video. Well done. I always use OEM but tried the cheapest pads this time. These didn’t come with the round anti vibration weights, but did fit. I got tons of squeek! I then cleaned the all the dust (as i should have) and lubed it, and now no more squeek!

so what was the final solution? new anti squeak pads? no shim? no grease on back of pads? but some grease on brake pad pins?
Posi Quiet brake pads, no shim, grease on pins. The Centric pads have a antivibration backing so no need to grease the back of the pads.
Love the 300m - is that regular blue dial or the "summer blue" dial? bty, I have the same 991.1 brake squeak issue on my Porsche as well.
Summer blue is nice, but I like my classics 😀
