Stopping my 2013 Porsche 911 991 brakes from squeaking

I purchased my car with new brakes, but after almost 1000 miles of driving, I still had squealing and squeaking. I tried bedding them using common techniques, but the noise continued. I finally tried Centric Posi Quiet pads which fixed the problem. This video shows how I changed my pads to eliminate the squeaking.

Love the 300m - is that regular blue dial or the "summer blue" dial? bty, I have the same 991.1 brake squeak issue on my Porsche as well.

so what was the final solution? new anti squeak pads? no shim? no grease on back of pads? but some grease on brake pad pins?

Posi Quiet brake pads, no shim, grease on pins. The Centric pads have a antivibration backing so no need to grease the back of the pads.
