wow what a great video love it it really makes you think. love the song but video really puts it out there, every one seems to forget they get busy with everyday life. that if we didn't have the men and woman over there fighting for our freedom we would not be here today. Wish this song was out when I served and was away from The beautiful sunshine state, now as I spend my time away from home runnin a boat out of louisiana in the American oil feilds it still sends chills through my bones and bring the thought of home to mind. God Bless Florida and SEMPER FI!

As a Florida boy living in Tennessee, damn does this make me miss the sunshine state. Only if it wasn't so overpopulated and over developed. Bring back old Florida!

I've been down here since 86' and its crazy how much the Lakeland and Winter Haven area has grown in such short time .... I don't go up that way unless I have to LOL .... I'm generally back and forth between the South eastern most part of Polk Co. and Avon Park (Highlands Co.) and love having mostly lakes, 🍊 groves, red dirt roads, and woods around me .... for the time being anyways ... but then again nothing much has changed in this area in the past 30 years as I've seen. Every now and then I'll get the notion to take a field trip back to East Tennessee to visit friends and go over to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for a day or so and get my being in the mountains/log cabin fix
@@TeufelHunden-cq6mq Lakeland is my hometown. My granddad used to ride me around and tell me how everything was dirt roads and orange groves. Sure ain't like that anymore
@@brownben1113 Thats for sure ..... not technically changing my address from 01 - 05 when I was in Camp Lejeune NC. and coming home every holiday and 2 weekends a month some months I was still here but being completely gone from 05 - 10 officially moving to & living in TN. was detrimental for me. Going back before all that to the 90s was one of my favorite things about growing up was hearing about how things were from those old - timers (RIP gentlemen) ..... ironically now me being in my 40s I find myself preaching to my grand nieces and nephews 9 & 10 y/o about the late 80s and 90s and how things were not to long ago. Hahaha. Good times.
On another note, I am glad to see someone finally make a song about Florida. I am a proud Florida resident and have to put up with all the bullshit from people from other states (Including people from other southern states) They laugh, talk shit, and make jokes about Florida but are the first to come down here on vacation.
