Wow, this really helps me alot. I have a 96 caddy fleetwood 6 door also!! I have an oil leak around my harmonic balance, was thinking of just getting the seal. Now i realize it could be more than one. I have replaced almost everything, alot of parts, vac lines, water pump and Opti, but never looked at any of the seals. Thanks for the heads up of what i could be looking at before i start.👍 BTW what engine cleaner do you use? I need a degreaser that wont hurt electronics. I lightly use dawn water in a spray for a scrub
I’m glad we could help you out! Thanks for supporting the channel! We just used super clean degreaser. We made sure the battery was unplugged and made sure we allowed enough time for everything to dry before reconnecting the power.
How do you set the timing of the replacement distributor? I might of missed that but I’m doing that as of this typing and any response would be great. Thanks
If you go to 11:56 in the video there is a slot on the optispark for the pin drive type that will be placed onto the pin on the cam shaft. It should only be able to go on one way. That will set the timing of the optispark distributer system
