11:30 in case you didn't know in spider-man Homecoming Peter's friend is named Ned. In spider-verse Mile's friend is named Ganke. They are actually two different characters. However the MCU iteration of Ned is definitely inspired by Ganke from the Miles comicbooks.

"Canon" here is kinda used like Doctor Who uses "Fixed Points in Time," events that *have* to happen.
Well, the third movie was *supposed* to be released March 29, 2024. But for reasons known only to Sony, the release date has been pushed back to "unknown."

The writers strike and the animators being overworked is the main reasons
The reasons are well known. Sony destroyed the entire animation industry trying to make this movie. Because they couldn’t make up their minds on literally anything. Making people work 90 hours a week.
Almost every animator in the world worked on this project, and walked out in disgust.
While they end result was great, that is no excuse for how they mismanaged the production of terribly.
Nah let em cook. Let Sony grind out something *premium* .

Miles did save Pav's Cop but his world is unravelling.

May Day is NOT an anomaly, she's from her Dad's world born. No another world spider.
Miles Prowler was supposed to be spiderman but The Spot took the spider away when it was just about to bite him.
Miguel isn't wrong, he's just too strict. He's also aggressive. They knew he was gonna spill the truth when Miles mocked him to question him being spiderman
I have to check you on May Day. The fact that Peter only had May Day because he met Miles implies that miles changed his story. And miles could only do that because of multiverse shenanigans and because he became spiderman both of which are anomalies. So even though May Day belongs in the dimension she's from she only exists because of theninfluence of an anomaly, much in the same way that Gayatri and Inspector Singh survived.
It's not that Miguel is completely right or wrong. It's that he doesn't full understand what he's talking about. The fact that miles dimension isn't completely collapsing due to miles being an anomaly is proof of that. It's been a year and a half of both Miles being spiderman and Spot bring dpot but nothing has happened. Furthermore the idea that Miles even has canon evenrs given that he is an anomaly is ludicrous. How can some who isn't meant to be spiderman have predetermined events dependent on him being Spiderman?

Miles didn't affect Peter B's world in anyway. He never went there. If I had a phone that can call any universe and I tell you to have a baby. I neither know your past nor your future.
No spiderman knows the future. They only know the present and what happened in their respective past.
You're over thinking it.
May Day is a product of Peter B having balls to not be afraid of becoming a father.
You're basically saying because spiderpeople meet up in the Spider society and talk means they are all changing what happens in one another universe. For this to happen, they need to physically go there an alter an event like Miles did in Pav's universe or Miguel did in another universe and what Kingpin tried to do or what unknowingly Miles 1610 becoming spiderman.
Pav's Cop dies if Miles doesn't alter it as Spot is a universal being meaning he's not bound by whatever happens in the universe he's going through.
I think we are over thinking it, it's so not that deep. It's literal. The watches even make it so like you are even there.

Some backstory on Miguel O'Hare he was born in the year 2099 and in his time all the avengers including Spiderman are gone. He worked for Alchemax and they wanted him to recreate the original avengers starting with Spiderman. But the experiments were to inhumane so he tried to quit but his boss got him hooked on drugs to control him. To cleanse himself of his addiction Miguel used his Spiderman research and altered his genetics. The experiment gave him spider powers but the untraditional kind. Miguel is more spider than the other spidermen he can't stick to walls. He uses his claws and he has organic webs and fangs that secret paralytic venom.

I usually love reactions to this movie but there were a lot of things that you misconstrued here. Gwen and Peter had a platonic relationship, they had just been best friends for years and years on end. Another thing, I have never heard of someone confusing a British accent with a Caribbean one, that was like whiplash lmao. Miguel isn't truly the villain here, he just has his own experience with seeing first hand what happens when the canon isn't followed. Miguel isn't a vampire either, he has to take injections to get his spider-man powers, his Spiderman just looks different, thus him not having spider senses, his eyes being sensitive to light, having fangs and whatnot, this is mentioned in the comments of 2099. If you rewind the movie when Spot was explaining to our Miles how he was created and brought a spider from another dimension , you will also be able to see the moment the spider was going to bite the correct miles, he was in class with his braids. Difference in "breaking cannon" and simply not doing something. You mentioned that Gwen's dad broke canon, but that's not really true. It just has to be a police chief close to Spiderman that dies, that just happened to nearly be her dad. Same thing with Mile's dad. In Pav's universe, it's his girlfriend's father that is the police chief.
It was a crime not winning oscar. The movie was very entertaining.
Miguel isn’t a villain tho and anyone who thinks otherwise is very biased towards miles, glazing him. That’s what makes this movie so interesting, because in Miguel’s point of view, he is doing the heroic thing. He won’t risk for Miles’s dad for millions of lives, because he truly believes that if Miles saves him and prevents the „canon“ event, Miles‘s dimension is gonna cease to exist as well with all the people living in it. I think his mindset and paranoia has a lot to do with his trauma (he also has a very tragic and traumatic backstory & childhood, which you can see in his comics) of losing „his“ family, having his daughter glitch out of existence in his arms and then the whole dimension. He is blaming himself and now he is willing to do everything to never even risk having it happen again.
I gotta admit, I like the part where you said he pulled a Wanda knowing about what Scarlet witch was doing in Doctor Strange 2 they could’ve obliterated the Multiverse

Miguel was definirely wrong for what he said bit if you look into his story it isnt hard to see why hes falling apart. He's had one of the most horrible backstories of the Spiders, and his universe has some of the most lethal versions of the Spiderman rogue's gallery. And... he is right. Hes been working himself to death trying to keep everything together, to the point where hes going insane. Really hope the final movie doesn't just make him an outright villain, because he's not.

No he can't Spiderman can try but he can't always save everyone. He couldn't save uncle Ben and he though he tried he couldn't save Gwen Stacy. And in the insomniac game a viral plague called Devils breath is released and Aunt May gets infected. Peter has a choice to either use the cure to save may or save the city. Being the hero Peter chose to to use the cure on the city he couldn't save may .

Miles's roommate at Visions is Ganke, not Ned.
Also, Miguel is the ANTAGONIST, so the way he thinks the world works is wrong. There IS no Canon. Otherwise, Peter B's universe should have already collapsed because Mayday exists, right? And Gwen's should have started collapsing when her dad quit.
The first movie was about how anyONE can be Spider-Man. This one is about how any STORY can be Spider-Man's story.
