I am always in awe of a wrench that can dress like Bobby, do the work he is doing and stay as clean as he does. I even look at a grease gun and I am wearing half of it. Pull a tire and it looks like I had snuggled up to it for 48 hours. Just amazing.
Yep, I just dig in and enjoy the shower to follow!
Same, I can just think about working on my Peterbilt, and I’m greasy
And then there are guys who are greased waterproof from head to toes every day😄
I share your pain lol
I just think of being on my back under BMW sports car and have sores on back of shoulders. 😄
I would have been wearing half of that grease with grease across my face and everything. It's a blessing that you have Bobby in your life as your husband. Stay blessed and keep trucking
Kudos to Bobby, he is a machine, awesome job and enjoyed watching the work 😊
I wrenched for almost ten years late 70's to late 80's on heavy trucks and refrigeration, those were some great upgrades to that front axle, should last many years!
No more front end wander for you !!! Nice job, Bobby !!
He's the cleanest heavy duty mechanic in history. One gets the impression that perhaps theres not much heavy duty work going on.
You make it look too easy there Bobby! You’re husband knows his stuff. 😉👍🏻💯
Great Job Bobby. Glad you had some help. Real nice garage.
What an awesome husband he is to you. Making sure you're safe out on the road and keeping in good standards with DOT. Great job Bobby and a huge expense saver it is doing the work yourself and saving on labor costs 👍. Stay safe and keep the great videos and content coming Dominique 👍
Mixing private live and job is no good.
You two make such a great team!
You can tell this wasn't Bobby's first rodeo on a steer axle. Nice work!
You guys make a good team he keeps you fixed up and you keep trucking 👍👍
He did the whole job without getting dirty 😮
🤣🤣🤣
Bobby is actualy working the camera Dauminique?? amazing... looked like
he was having fun too!
MAN THOSE WERE WOLLERED OUT BAD. GLAD YA GOT IT FIXED.
Man that Bobby is good! No wait...he’s the best!
Awesome video Dom, you are blessed to have a Bobby in your life. That would’ve cost a fortune in the shop.👍👍👍
Bobby is the man. Experience tells. You lass are a lucky woman. Safe travels.
So Nice and saves a Ton of Money to Pay a Repair Shop to do the Repair!!
GREAT JOB!!! Bobby!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤
That should steer pretty nice now. Bobby knows his stuff
Great job guys...
Thx for sharing this one...
Enjoying from No. Idaho..👋😎
A long, long time ago I used to work on an old BEAR alignment machine and we would actually bend straight axles to adjust camber. Tie them down to a beam with giant clevises, put a hydraulic jack in the middle and then bend those brutes. One of the few shops in the state that did it. Probably all different today. Like I say, that was a long time ago.
Ya long time ago we used to jack up axle to take load off of wheel to grease king pin.
Check out bending with Brandon on RUclips
Better hang on to this hard working and smart man.
Your truck looks great for a 2003 alot to do with that talented young mechanic you have lol You two make a good team. Nice when both contribute too the same interest.
Robert is a keeper!
Awesome music selection for this amazing husband task of changing out the front end suspension system and its massive components which allow the truck to perform a myriad of functions with steering being a major aspect of the front end.
used to do this stuff alone in my yard with no where the tools bobby has dont miss that part of owning a truck worked on my dump and drove my pulp truck too at same time stay safe out there!!
Great job amazing to see something done that I have never done awesome work Bobby!
It's always kinda fun to play where's Waldo, except we play where in the State is Dominique. Sometimes, when we're not looking, you drive right by us. We think you and Bobby are awesome
I'd like to see more of this type of video. I mean, videos of repairs done to the equipment.
Thats a ton of work, He know what hes doing.
That was fun to watch. NOW THAT'S A TORQUE WRENCH!
It’s great to see that you had some help Bobby. That’s some heavy stuff
you are a very luck girl to have such a talented fellow
One can see why repairs cost so much!!!!!!!! Very good info. Vlog, and the tunes had my toes a tappin!!!
Hey Bobby ⚠️, my first time watching you wrench 🔧. I kinda wish you slowed down in certain areas, where you torque things, saw you torque the right side pin, top & bottom nuts, not the left? It would be nice to see how much torque is applied? Wheels? Other than that it looked like a straight forward swap. You didn't address the shocks? Although they and the brakes looked 👍🏻.
Thanks for sharing 👍🏻. Nothing worst than a shaky steering wheel in the driver's hands! Smooth on hiway driving! Gotta love it!
Great catch and repair!
✌🏻👍🏻😎 😉🌤 🇨🇦.
My brother and I changed king pins once in his truck, we fought with those king pin bolts for hours pounding, torching, drilling, when we got the job done the truck was treacherous drive, it didn't turn freely, not sure what we did wrong but we had to take it to a shop and they did the job over, won't be doing anymore king pin jobs.
One heck of a good job there.
Truck still looks great for Sure
I’m at about 17:08 had to pause to comment on it being therapeutic watching Bobby work on BD1. The music choice is also pretty calming to me. Nice video all the way around Daum!!❤
Great job by Bobby I really enjoy all your videos
Lucky Lady your own mechanic sad you did it on fast some of us enjoy watching experienced tradies do their thing and the audio is always funny when you have two mates working on a job ,anyway still good content Thanks
Kym
Adelaide
Nice axle change over good video thanks
Cool video Dom I'm also a dump truck driver now I think it's cool that us women are in this field not too many of us for sure I used to drive 18 wheeler for 8 years before I decided to go local and drive dump keep up with the hard work you guys do
I didn't realize your truck was 20 years old! It's in great shape for its age!
All I can say is that I hope that you got a wheel alignment. Because after all the replacement of the axle it still needs a wheel alignment. And next time u guys do something like that again, my I suggest using anti-seize. It helps to stop the parts from seizing up and makes it easier to take off next time. P.S. I love your show ❤️ please don't stop u guys are awesome. And 🇨🇦 hello from lethbridge Alberta Canada ❤.
It’s got to nice to have your own mechanic around when you need one
Wow what a job. Looks like Bobby has done that before. You should keep him around, eh?
Love your videos I am watching you from Wellington New Zealand. I have been driving tip trucks for thirty years here I love my job.
Bet u guys love having yard n shop big enough to keep a your stuff at home n work on it, and do the work yourselves 😊😊
Watching and watching, just 10 times heavier than my old Chevy king pins I used to redo. My 32 Ford etc…..
You two are doing well take care
Yup...Bobby is amazing mechanic and a real person. Question? Shocks did not look all that great so why did you not replace them?
It’s great that you do preventative maintenance to come across these issues before they become a serious problem
For the alternative, see the various Pakistan truck channels.
I don’t play with those king pin bolts when they stick like that . I hit them with a single jack side to side until it busts off then It drives out pretty easy with a punch . It’s awesome you switched over to the new style axle . Awesome job .😎
Glad that the front axle got replaced on the dump truck fantastic job
Your opening comments were spot on. When I read the title of this video "Front Axle Replacement......." my first reaction was Why?? What happened??? I gotta see this! So yeah, we want to know what is going on and as a machine tech, I want to see the process.
Good job and less than 30 minutes of down time. Back to work Dom!
hello dauminique its is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy
Good thing Bobby is a top notch mechanic, have you heard from Justin, he seems to have disappeared
wow Im inpressed 😃
Don't miss that crap! Glad you can get it done in 25 minutes instead of 2 days haha
Good work Bobby
Hey Dauminique. my drop axal also steers. i run .315'' on both steers and drop steers.. i'm up here in canada. i also run a kenworth t800. mine is a 2021 with 450 paccar and a "cringe" 6 speed allison auto. i'd rather have a 18spd but the truck is not mine. Happy trails from up here in Canada. Dan.
Bobby iw is awesome to Dauminqie helping in every way he can also good have huge shop with mega truck lift
Contrast is stark, one is video queen and other prefers silence and no cam. 😄
Nice work 👍
You really good job with that video
The guy who was helping Bobby, is he the same guy he was helping with the septic line repair.
Excellent job Bobby!
The dump truck front end made it look like a drift car 😮 well at least you got it fixed and running right again there young lady 💐🌹
Awesome video, awesome job,
I feel for Bobby I've replaced king pins and bushings for 98 Ford 8000 and getting the old ones out was a pain in the back side and great video and great job with the truck and God bless from GA and stay safe
I take my hat off to your husband he knows his stuff 👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome job! Good as new!😊
WOW you even got him to move the camera around I figured he would say screw it I’m not filming
Not a mechanic here, but this was a good movie. Moar
When I was a mechanic in the olden days in sultan when kingpins had extreme wear they fired the grease monkey .
I’ve only had the truck for 16 months.
You did the right thing by replacing the axle
Awesome video great Job bobby
That was impressive.
Big job!
hai dauminique , was weer een mooie vlog , goed kunnen zien hoe je man de vooras heeft vervangen leuke details gezien dankjewel 👌👌👌gr carel uit holland
I was happy to see the K-9 supervisor was there sniffing for poor quality😂
watch Bendin with Bendon on RUclips. Hès had to adjust camber on brand new axles. He has a huge press setup to bend the axle. He des it while its still on the truck. He works in a big frame and alignment shop. You have a nice garage.
Brilliant vid.
Good job Bobby 👍👍
Great video. Thanks.
Hanrd working family u guys together wil get thing done keep it running
working on heavy trucks and equipment is no joke bust ass hard if you can try to get bobby to wear some ear protection so he can hear when he's sixty.and don't forget to show him you appreciation
Good job 👍💪
Great job Bobby!! Curious, Is he a independent mechanic or work for a shop? I know tools like the torque wrench used here are not cheap!! Stay safe.
great video!
Great video
Awesome ✔️
Just keep trucking
Was the better way to go. Those kingpins really take a pounding in a dump truck. Between the weight and going off road with the high flotation tires.
Ecxelente saludos es lo bueno de no dejar caer el domper 🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋💯💯💯💯💯💯✌️✌️😒😒😒
And new fancy front hubcaps?!
Awesome job great video
Excellent !!
