The trucking company my uncle worked for had a double-bunk KW. He took me for a ride in it once, an unforgettable experience.

I remember as a kid in the 70’s watching big trucks. To see a double sleeper was a treat. This KW is beautiful inside and out.

Way to go, Greg . I love it . I put 964,000 miles on a 1988 cabover eagle in the 1990s . Of course, it wasn't eye candy like your K 100 is . Beautiful truck .
I took a picture of this truck at MATS .In my opinion this was the best looking truck at the show always loved the Kenworth double sleeper cabover👍👍👍👍

That's one sharp K100. Love the old school paint job and Mom picked the perfect color for this truck.
Beautifully resto/mod truck! I love the fact that he kept the original stock dash and didn't put in a tacky chrome-filled one.

Double bunk and long wheelbase... always were real eye catchers
Don’t seem to see a lot of double bunk flat roofs. Most seem to be Aerodynes. Either way that is one beautiful old truck. And clean too.
My old man had a K100 double bunk VIT with a 8 v92 . It was so beautiful

Wanted something like that when I was running. If I would have kept mine and stayed in it , I probly would have something like this today instead of my Pete Hoods. Awesome , and that combo running gear is still a great pairing today.

Absolutely gorgeous. I agree, I think KW made the best looking double bunk cabover, inside and out.
You couldn't have picked a better color of green if you tried IMO...
Back in the 70's and 80's KW offered some incredible interior choices. The only thing I personally
would like better is if it had the sage (?) green upholstery. It was a medium to slightly lighter color.
It would have matched the green paint really good. Unfortunately nobody makes that color of vinyl
anymore. Last I heard, even the Day Cab Company can't get any... The brown does look nice though.
I remember for several years back in the 70's you could even order the splendor interior and mix up
to three different colors.
Drove one very close to this one, hauling produce in the summer and cattle in the fall and spring, it drove like a car , 425 b cat 8 bag air ride , those day's are gone forever .
