Jane is definitely my favorite punisher no doubt. The man was ripped for the role and his attitude towards everything was spot on. I just wish they’d actually gave him a sequel
They had a sequel planned out. but supposedly, according to the writer and director, a script was available and somehow Thomas didn't like it. There was something in the script and the storyline that he didn't like. So he dropped out of the project and turned it down. It was probably around 2006 when this happened. A year after the game was realised. Which he played him in that as well. And he also played the punisher again in a short film on RUclips called "dirty laundry" which was pretty cool. So he played the punisher 3 times. But yeah, if they were to do a punisher 2 which was the original idea, it would've really kicked ass. The Ray Stevenson movie was okay but Thomas Jane just bests the hell out of the performance.
AssassinEmbers well despite the fact that Thomas Jane Voice the Punisher in that game, the story of the game was set in the different universe and have nothing to do with the 2004 movie, the Punisher of the 2005 video game was a vietnam vet similar to the original comic Punisher from the earth 616 and even other superheroes characters make an appearance in that game too (black widow, Iron man...) the punisher of the 2004 movie was an FBI agent and also a veteran in some modern (god know where) war. So that mean both of the entertainment products set in the different universe, the game cannot be the sequel of the movie, but hey at least Thomas Jane has another chance to be the Punisher.
Joan, Spacker Dave, and Nathaniel Bumpo were neighbors with Frank Castle from Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s comic storyline, The Punisher: Welcome Back Frank.
Frank Castle was trying to learn to be human again but he feels quite traumatized after losing his family also brings him a lot of pain which he had to go through. I feel quite sorry for Frank Castle.
I loved every dude who's played Frank Castle. Bernthal encompasses Jane and Stevenson so well. Can't wait to sit down and watch season 2 of the Punisher
This is what happened to mystique when her mutations gone. She's kicked out from Magneto's brotherhoods, lonely, dated a wrong guy who almost threatening her life, looking for a job and found one, and now meet Frank Castle aka The Punisher.
From the first time I saw this scene, I just can't blame Frank. He knew perfectly well that if he opened his heart again, something bad would happen to her (or them) since he still was in a very dangerous situation with dangerous people, not to mention he still loved his wife. If you ask me, the essence of a Punisher never was lost in this movie.
That was really sweet to see Frank accept Joan's dinner invitation, but sad to see that Frank clearly couldn't open up to people or his heart for Joan and find solace 🙁
Because he still loves his wife even though she's dead. He refuse to move on and remain single. He's like a wolf who lost his mate remains a lone wolf they don't really move on. And thats actually a good thing knowing your heart always belongs to your soulmate even though they're deceased it shows that person has a pure heart.
That was another weak part to a solid movie, I hate when they try to pull this stunt. The other two side characters I felt were far more intriguing and they would’ve been a much group to have more dialogue with
It's the most grounded one for sure. One of my favourites outside of the main Spider-Man, Batman movies etc. I also enjoy the 2000s F4 movies. Blade is also good.
Thomas Jane is the kind of guy that every hot woman desperatly chases after and Thomas Jane as slick as he is has the confidence and the looks to just simply reject them.
I think it was wrong for Joan to try and love Frank bcuz she knew the Frank he was died the day his whole family was murdered, this Frank that she met is someone who has no hope for any new love or relationship and Frank let her know it
It’s not that woman wanna fina a good pure heart of a man and she saw that in him and mostly because he lost his family and wanna help heal his heart and soul
These actors truly worshipped their roles cos he is undoubtedly the ONLY person who should be the punisher. We need to make new stuff rather than keep building a roof that’s already done. I hate the fact that my kids and their kids will never have new characters but the same old crap that obscure original wonders like this movie.
Every year for the past several years we have played the first 10 seconds of this clip on Thanksgiving just to say “You’re wrong, Rebecca Romijn!” It’s our weird family tradition.

I just love how all three of them look at Frank, almost desperately. They all know what happened to him and are trying to bring some light into his life. I remember the first time I saw this movie, I genuinely wasn’t sure if he’d be grateful for anything.

well there is a sequel its a video game from 2005

He did many of the stunts!
He was the best punisher
Frank learning to be human again from his misfit roommates was such a great concept in this film
Joan, Spacker Dave, and Nathaniel Bumpo were neighbors with Frank Castle from Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s comic storyline, The Punisher: Welcome Back Frank.
RIP John Pinette. dude was so funny, even in this film.
Frank Castle was trying to learn to be human again but he feels quite traumatized after losing his family also brings him a lot of pain which he had to go through. I feel quite sorry for Frank Castle.
I Deeply Know And Understand How Frank Feels The Man Constantly Lost Everything He Ever Valued And Cared About He Just Wants To Be Alone.

What about dolph 1989
@@loayprettyboy206 oh hell yeah! Him too fam!!
@@loayprettyboy206 I saw that one. Dolph's Punisher was clearly a man on a mission.
they need to do a sequel jane is awesome
He wanted to do it, but he disagree with the direction they were going.
If you count the 2005 ps2/xbox/pc punisher game, then we did technically get a sequel with Jane reprising the role of Frank.
2:40
Those memories and those words saved his life later on.
How the fuck can you say no that divine beauty
Because he still loves his wife.
Some men are loyal like that. Very few, but some are.
Joan is an actual character in the comics except she wasn’t attracted to frank
Tan guapo Tomas Jane le quedan muy bien 👍 las camisetas pegadas al cuerpo trabajado, muy atractivo bonitos ojos azules, y buena actuación 🎭 ok 👍 ✔ 👌

Poor frank he's so traumatized after losing his family he can barely even speak and be friendly with other people

Only thing I hated about this movie was how she tried to just take his life and make it "theirs". She is hot, but she pissed me off this whole movie.
I love Jane as Punisher
Mystique and The Punisher!!!!
Omg!!! I never realized that
They both did it in the comics Punisher and Mystique. She shows up as his dead wife and Joan. She even licked him too.
After what he’s been through I couldn’t blame him that he don’t want a relationship yet

At one point in the comics, a woman was the Punisher! If they want to try a different version, I could see Rebecca Romijn as Lynn Michaels...
