Great interview. Flying as a business traveler years ago, try flying New York to Dallas, back to New York then to Los Angeles then back to New York in 7 days. I have deeper respect for Jason on what he has to do be on top of his game!
As someone who travels regularly from the east coast US to Asia, the jet lag is real. Traveling west (to Asia) the jet lag is less than flying east. It takes me about 3 days to adjust when I get to Asia. Most of the time, I just get super tired in the evening, like its 9PM but I feel like I can't stay up any longer. Going east, back to NY, it takes more than 5 days to get back to normal. I've used all different arrival times and its still wonky. Seems a bit better with an early morning arrival. The effect can be random, sometimes it 2PM and I feel so tired I need to sleep. The worst is falling asleep in the late afternoon and waking up at midnight. My last trip was an early morning arrival back to the US and I managed to stay awake for the first day until a normal hour. Sleep patterns weren't crazy but it still took nearly a week to just feel normal.
I can only relate to this from flying to Japan a lot. The flight from the US to Japan is drastically longer than the flight from Japan to the US. Like it can be literally a 3-4 hour difference. I don't care either way though. I seriously can just watch rom coms, Frasier or anything Gordon Ramsay and marinate for hours on end so its all the same to me. Jet lag real tho, even if you try and schedule your routine around the time change.
Does the PBA assist with accommodations for the pro bowlers or are they responsible for figuring it out on their own, like flights and hotels and such?
Great interview. I've flown back and forth to the Philippines many times and it is very difficult to adjust back to the time going both ways

i get super tired at 9pm without jet lag.
Same man, Japan to US flights wreck me for better part of a week.
Great advice from the GOAT - and good advice for business travelers and the like who have to do this regularly.
GOAT. HUGE fan.
Belmo is such a chill guy
The GOAT BELMO 🐐
The fun days of working nights, finishing at 7am and then driving 4hrs for a league match in the morning.

I think this guy has a great voice, let’s see him commentate

We do for some special events, but mostly they do their own thing. Too many logistics...
Why didn't he do the interview of vanquished foes like "does Jason Belmonte remember his title-match opponents?"?
What is that high pitched noise?
I think that is one of the pinsetters in the background, I apologize as I didn't hear/notice that.
tinnitus...trust me i know
The travel would have been a lot worse in the days before air travel.
