The PBA WSOB is a series of major events in bowling, in past years and the current pba 2024 season, they are typically some of the most perfect and highscoring games of the entire 2024 season. 300 games are common during qualifying due to the massive fields. WSOB, 300, perfection and bowling are all common phrases. the 2025 season is right around the corner and I think we are all ready for the new year of 2025 in pba. Major events including the 2024-25 season are extremely popular with crazy high prizes for just making it to the stepladder.
this exported at a really high volume and i have NO idea why so if it sounds a lil crunchy yk why
The louder the better! 😂 Thanks for making this.
Taco Bell jump scare in the beginning
That bell was crazy work 😅
Thanks for the post. The volume blasted bell got me at the start, haha. I had the home theater turned up! But overall very enjoyable, and appreciated.
I have to mention Tom Smallwood for the way he handled a complete disaster scenario. He continued to talk out loud what was going through his mind. He didn't get overly emotional. He just looked like he was processing everything and making mental notes so as not to do it again. For the way that game went south on him, he stayed really cool.
All great bowlers and great matches. Very impressed with the 21 year old Ryan Barnes. We will see him again.
smallwood is a diabolical last name lmao
With the way he fades left on the approach, his name should be Driftwood. lol
@@BornIn1500Wouldn't that make him Leanwood? Lol
Ryans right hand holds the ball just like his dad does
As a headphone user I appreciate that bell at the beginning ❤️
2:20 i heard Rise from RIOT music... LoL always seems to sneak into the oddest of places... thanks DJ lol
One Handed Bowling, That was an awesome upload of the Highlights from the 2024 Pba Players Championship. Also, Ryan Barnes is a talented and an amazing Bowler and he is going to make Pba Telecasts as a Pro in the 2025 Season on the Pba Tour.
Bohn son is good too ... they will make noise the next 20-30 years
YOU SICK TROLL
Make one handed great again
@@joeycrck1479the real deal got it done for one handed bowlers
Smallwood looks like the type of guy to have a private stock of old cheeses 😂😂
I love Barnzy and really wanted him to bring it home his first time on the big stage. But Bill is definitely a respectable bowler to lose to. Bad breaks on both sides. Barnzy delayed the switch to resin a bit too long. Bill had a more consistent line. I’ll ignore the Brooklyn shot lol I’m biased because Chris Barnes is one of my favorite bowlers ever but honestly Bill O’Neil isn’t far behind on my list 💯
id rather see somebody else win, instead of a golden spoon spoiled kid
He aced the shot in the 5th with the phase II. I was audibly shocked when he didn't use it on the right lane in the 6th. Then I was like wtf when he pured it in the 8th, because that ball reaction was fantastic.
The real deal O'NEILL
I hope your vids are good. I just subbed based on one handed.. lol. good luck to you
Sounds like ball rolling over thumb hole!
Except there's no thumb hole ...
Way to go Real Deal Bill 🎉
Stubler's skip step is novel. He does generate a lot of speed though.
thanks
Smallwood came in short
Sorry Randy, I disagree. I think Ryan looks more like his mom than Chris.
Doesn't anybody bowl with one hand anymore?
I don't understand why the PBA continues to allow urethane...it's boring bowling...watching the pros work to find strike zones while picking up spares would be far more exciting.
they still have to find zones anyways? also urethane sets up a more interesting later game because they have to be aggressive with the carry down
@@OneHandedBowling Technically yes, in order to strike you have to throw the ball in the correct zone and have to "find" that zone. Urethane makes this process WAY easier because of how it reacts in the oil and out of the oil. It also allows for more miss room.
All I'm saying is that the format would be far more interesting to watch if they had to struggle through. They're pros...why allow them an easy path with urethane.
Would love to see a tournament where they all had to use the exact same equipment but got to drill it to their liking. This would really show who the best are.
@@iamrokmusik first of all, these are not a house shot so no matter where the ball is being thrown it's going to have a minuscule miss room anyways.
While urethane makes it easier to the pocket briefly, you have to think about how it plays over the course of more than one or two games. The breakdown of the lanes happens much faster than with the average bowling ball and it also creates an absolutely brutal transition. As someone who has thrown urethane in many sport leagues and a couple tournaments, i can easily say that it is not as easy as it looks just like with any sport. Bowling is a hard game and bowling balls are just tools.
The modern game revolves around playing front to back and ripping the cover off the ball to have it move early and urethane just does it well which is why I think its used.
The term "straighter is greater" is proven with urethanes success in the modern era. iirc they said a similar thing about reactive resin when it first came out. The game should be balanced and having a wide array of bowling balls and equipment helps that happen. Regardless human error means that bowling will never be "solved" and it ultimately comes down to the player and their skill sets.
Now it would be interesting for a no urethane tournament although if you wanted to see that look at the heavier patterns like badger that almost entirely force pros to play a flat and boring angle. and similarly to that, they host (or did several times prior) a plastic ball only challenge tournament. I believe its now a side event in the youth masters now but I think it was called the skill ball challenge.
You have to buy brand new urethanes in order to compete in the PBA. The older ones are banned for being too "soft"
@@joeycrck1479 6 months on the bowling balls and most with tour exemption are sponsored alr. If you do not have a sponsor that's a minor disadvantage as urethane is as I stated earlier, a tool, not a free win. I feel like the rule is kind of bad but at the reasoning for it being in place makes sense. if you don't know the reason, you should do some research
Whats wrong with rolling a Brooklyn? It's still a strike, I bet most bowlers couldn't roll a Brooklyn if they tried too!!! 🤔
Announcer needs to stop talking about how jacked bowlers are !! There not jacked stop it
They are not big from body building standards, but chris via is pretty big in person. For an athletic physique most bowlers are decently built.
Your perception is skewed. You’re too used to seeing guys pushing gear. That guy is jacked for being natural
Chris Via is a gym rat. That dude is pretty big especially for a bowler. Look ar Ej Tackett. He's like 130lbs.
😂😂😂
Smallwood's mechanics = Too many working parts
SMALLWOOD
Randy and the chubby guy pretty much ruin the experience of watching bowling for me
@@Lank2thepast what's wrong with randy? I get John Fanta, but randy??
You can always WATCH with the sound off
@@jerryalexander8803 Yeah because watching TV muted is so enjoyable
@@Lank2thepast I mean you’re the one complaining about the broadcast. If the broadcast ruins your enjoyment of watching bowling that much then just mute the broadcast, you don’t need sound to know what’s going on in a bowling match.. peace
The reason so many players are switching to 2 hands is because it's easier. It's such an annoyance to watch.
両手投げは反則です❌
Sorry i dont watch 2 handed bowling. Ever. waist of my time.
Cry me a river
barnes suck. chris
L take
19 tour times 3 majors say otherwise
