I’d love to see a video that defines a lot of the colloquial terms bowlers use. I’m talking about words like friction, ball up, ball down, shim, carry, etc. Also, a video that breaks down the three phases of ball motion on a house shot would be awesome. For example, around when should I expect a ball to move from slide to roll to hook? Thanks for the great content, guys! I love the channel.
100%. Modern bowlers use "Jargon" which does not help new bowlers learn anything at all. Good teachers speak plainly and clearly.
Reminds me of this quote: "Beware Jargon. It usually hides ignorance and carries little knowledge."
I can help with these terms if you want. Not sure if you're just trying to help others but you already know them haha.

@@rah0210 A full list of all Bowling Jargon terms and their real English definitions would be valuable.
True, I’ve been bowling for years and there is still jargon I don’t understand.
If you can’t explain it to a 5 year old, you don’t understand it well enough.
I'd like to thank you guys because I watched this video and something clicked for me and I shot 749 in league. 60 pins higher than my previous. I realized I needed to use the oil in the middle of the lane and moved left to shoot through it.
Also my highest game at 289.
I swear when i need specific advice, you guys drop a video about it. Good job
We're here to help 💪🏼
Getting closer to 200,000 subs
Probably the most neglected part of the game is ball speed, which can drastically affect the roll and the result. Old timers used the weight of the ball and the drive to create powerful strikes. Today, too many players, especially two handers, put so much emphasis on speed. When it works, it’s incredible, but when you miss the target, often you are left with a mess. A five year old can roll a strike with a ball moving 5 mph, so higher speed is less important than many people realize.
I've had nights where I take my normal shot and the only change I make is maybe 1 board left and get constant 200's. Other nights I've moved 7 or 8 boards to the left with my feet and 5 with my eyes and if I'm lucky I can get 170's or 180's. I can never figure out the lanes on what changes I need to make. Ball speed, different ball, more revs, less revs. UUggh. Love the work you guys put into these videos.
My local house shot transitions front to back with added length. Moving left is no man's land for everyone because the carry down tames the friction. Our best option is to move right, ball down and adjust speed and hand position. Miss room also vanishes. Game 3 is always a struggle to find a consistent line to the pocket.
Awesome video guys! I’m a league bowler who loves to stand on 16-19 and roll up the 10 board. During league practice on freshly dressed lanes I strike, but by the 5th frame or so it’s usually too dry to continue down 10. I’ve been using that alignment since I first started bowling so it’s super uncomfortable when I move right; I’m a lefty. Anyway, I obviously need to practice so I feel comfortable opening the angles. Bottom line: This was the video I needed to see to improve. I’m going to start opening the angles until I get as comfortable as rolling up the 10 board. You two are great instructors and I watch all your videos. Can’t thank you enough for the video lessons!
I'm glad I'm not the only person who plays straight up 10 12 to 8.
One of my favorite videos I’ve seen from you guys. I always warm up trying “my” shot. I’ve not tried to figure out what doesn’t work. I really like that mindset; different for me. I’m a lefty, so I know, (almost every week) once I figure out “the shot”, it’ll be there most of the night. However, I’ve struggled this year at times and it’s probably due to being too robotic. I’m not good at adjusting, because I usually don’t have to. Gonna try this Monday night and see if mentally I can come to grips in warmups of what does and doesn’t work. As opposed to hunting a shot starting in the 4th or 5th frame!!Thanks! Really enjoyed this!
A video on definitions, with a visual example would be fantastic!
Incredible content. This is why this channel is so great. Especially at 16:41 when Brad talks about staying right and knowing how to adjust your speed instead of being forced left where you may be uncomfortable. You may not be able to do this on sport/PBA patterns as much, but you can definitely do it on a THS league. I NEVER move more than a couple boards further left than the third arrow as my target and don't need to because I control my speed. You have to work hard at this too so you don't "muscle" the ball and it doesn't interfere with your timing.
Great video! I would love to see a similar video showing how to effectively ball change on transition. What factors lead you to choose a certain ball? For example, when your ball is burning energy early and you can’t move left, what are the options? How about for lefties that need to move left to avoid the lay down area of righties? Thanks, keep up the great work.
That’s the same thought I had. Could Kyle have switched to a weaker ball and played right?
I love it when you have a great look in warmups throw 5-6 strikes with a couple different balls. Then you ask which was better. Make a decision and then proceed to throw the ball like crap the first 4 frames or spray it. Bad days /nights happen occasionally
I applied some of this in league this evening. I dialed in a new line "up 10" during practice, and used it for the first two games before moving to my normal spot a little further left. I appreciate the tips!
These tips are in valuable for anyone. When we go out bowling I am having to teach my 2 kids and my wife as well. I will play pretty straight and start moving in over time. Great video guys!
Great content guys I’m bowling more sport shot tournaments and I would love individual videos on how to play some of the more common sport shots. For example) how to play Dragon, how to play bear, how to play cheetah, how to play PBA Weber and so on. I’m always looking for those videos when I go to a tournament and there are just so few of them.
Best video yet! Your explanation of your thoughts, strategies, and tactics was very informative. They way y'all talked through each shot was my favorite part. I would love to see this format move forward! It would be cool to have you guys do something similar for the sport and challenge patterns.
I've been struggling on sport shot tournaments because I have to learn as I go. I look online for advice on certain patterns and try to figure out what to use, what surfaces, and lane play strategies. But the information is not very consistent. It would help to have something like a sport shot pattern library for us to reference if we need to roll something at a tournament. Like Cheetah, what type of equipment for various types of bowlers, what kind of surfaces would work, what area of the lane should you play (near the gutter for short, closer to the head for longer, breakpoint distances, etc.), how you would progress through the set, etcetera.
I really appreciate all that you guys do for us in the community! Y'all have taught me so much, and I have then passed that on to other bowlers. Thank you!
I have been having a problem in league lately where during pre-game practice, on fresh, I get setup pretty good, hitting pocket, striking. Then league play begins and the first 1/2 of the first game I continue what I was doing through practice, sometimes having to move maybe 1 or 2 boards left, no big deal. Then all of a sudden, WHAM! .. my ball starts pushing down lane, sometimes washout. Like out of the blue it will start doing this. And I'm not the only one, some of the other players on my team or opposing team experience the same thing. So, I move right a few boards to try to counteract this situation, but I then just struggle to control the pocket. So then I try another ball, usually to a shinier ball to read the friction down lane more again. Sometimes that has worked and I'm back in it, but lately I end up chasing balls until I finally find something to work pretty well and I bowl a pretty good game the last game. Something changed at our bowling center the past couple of months (not just the weather) to cause this issue (have no idea what it is, oil, pattern, something). I have talked to dozens of people in our leagues and they say they have experienced the same type of thing. I am really stuck right now not having a clue as to what I need to do. Is it me? .. is it my ball (I resurface every few weeks with fresh box surface)? .. is it the lanes? .. what the heck is going on and what can I do to get ahead of this problem? .. Does anybody have a clue? .. I sure don't seem to. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. It's really getting frustrating, not just for me, but for several other people I bowl with. Thanks in advance and I hope everyone is getting a great start to their 2025 year!!! ❤❤
I have experienced that also but what I found what i was doing wrong was throwing the ball without any tilt. meaning my hand was too straight up the back of the ball and I didnt follow through as I should have.
@@mariorodrigues8176 - Well what has been weird is, I have gotten this condition repeatedly over the past few weeks in league. All of a sudden the ball just quits hooking properly at the breakpoint and pushes. It's been really weird. Seems some sort of transition is happening that I am not accustomed too and don't know how to react. Several people I have talked to in league have experienced the very same thing, including some of my teammates. I am wondering if the mid-lane, where your ball begin its hook phase, is maybe drying out quickly and using up the energy early. Seems like our lanes start out ok but then get really tight really fast. I contend that they have changed our house shot pattern a bit and perhaps the oil as well. It all happened very suddenly about 2 1/2 months ago. And I don't believe it is the weather as it was an abrupt change before our weather really changed. I'm not complaining, I actually like that it has done this because it is forcing me to learn, which is good. I think I have figured out a few things from Thursday night league when our lanes were playing super tight because they had a collegiate tournament right before league, and laid down our house pattern on top of some sport pattern, leaving the outsides much wetter than normal (you throw towards the gutter and your ball is gone). I actually was liking that pattern. It was more difficult, you had to be much more precise, but it was fun once you figured out how to play it. I played it with a pretty strong ball (Roto Grip Duo) from further right than normal and going up the back of the ball more than normal. Once I got it down I was hitting the pocket, and hard. It worked out pretty well and my last game of the series was a good one.
Fammmm I love the energy in your concerns here lol I've had this and kinda going through it. Are you a 1 hand thumb roller? I'm a 1 hand no thumber. Maybe worry about your overall speed, steps in approach, back swing release slide all of it. That must all match. Can't approach slow, then increase upper body motions at all. Ball speed is the next thing to try out. Slow it down and see how it reacts, then adjust from there. Your analytics are stellar I love how you view this I'm the same way. I'm currently in this same kinda lull but confident we'll push it out and it'll help us in the long run. Worry about where your chin is(chin up) and head back with your knee. Shoulders too. The ball not being consistent is on us and something we are doing. When WE are deadlock consistent, our equipment will execute. Although this stuff will give us a smidgen of room for error.. that's still in the eyes of the beholder. You're on the right track with ball and friction and all that... My phase 2 will shape hard through the rack or spin and stay low hitting just way right. It gets insanely stressful lol I'll change to my purple hammer cuz it gives me room for error. But that isn't making me better. Hope to hear a reply from ya I loved this
@@andysendlbeck914 - thank you for the tips! Very much appreciated! I am trying to learn and I think I am learning some good things, slowly but surely. Our lease was canceled for tonight because of Junior Gold tournaments, so one of my teammates and I went a little later and put in about 5 hours of practice time. Was very productive. I am working on a lot of things, like better controlling my speed, better rithm, better and smoother release with higher rev-rate, contolling axis rotation, etc. I think all of these things factor into what you and I are commenting on. Trick now is to put it all together to better contend with various lane conditions and changes. More to learn 😁
The journey never ends, but that is what makes this fun in my view. Thank you for your comment!
Question for both of you guys how do you determine if your going to retire a ball or take it out of your bag when your seeing all these new pieces of equipment coming out wat reasons do you have to make those choices when the old stuff still does the job
The advice about changing ball speed if you are comfortable on the right but do not have a high rev rate were very encouraging.
Love you his video!! It’s really helped me see lane changes and transitions happening throughout each game. Picked a ball up a few months ago, averaging 200, chasing 220 ave, You guys are great!!! Thank you.
It would be helpful to have a video of what you are thinking and what move you make when you split (Like you did on this video), or leave 4 pin, 7 and or 10, once you have found pocket consistency and have been striking. Another great vid would help me/us to make a move to keep striking and explain your thoughts on whether to just accept the spares, score for that game or what you do to get back to striking, especially with the pressure you bowl under being pros. Maybe to loaded and to involved but any thoughts help confidence that helps execution.
Great to see a dude from St. Charles lanes doing so well! I moved to Jacksonville a few years back from St. Charles and getting back into bowling. Rooting for you guys!
I throw urethane and see where it starts to roll down lane, then I throw a reactive ball at that spot to see how much it moves off that spot. I only get 5 minutes of practice, so I get 3-4 shots on each lane to get loose and to figure things out, so my next couple shots is to line up my corner pins. Good stuff guys!
I appreciate all the information you two put out. I always find application. I have grown so much as a bowler following your videos and getting coaching from you and Coach Daniel Puerto in the BnK, for two years. I hope to rejoin again before the Bnk open in the spring...
Love that you also give advice for those of us with lower rev rates. Slowing it down makes sense. What about backing up so the ball has more lane to travel? Viable?
I pretty much asked the same question about moving back or moving up.
Hopefully they can answer!
Moving back on the approach will often speed up footwork which will actually increase ball speed. For a lot of bowlers' small moves forward and back will still have you slide/plant at the same finish location, so the laydown point does not change a lot. If you want the ball to slow down earlier on the lane you can change the surface slightly, move up on the approach a little, or bring your eyes closer to the foul line (if you normally look at the arrows, looking a foot or so closer to you can help the ball "read" the lane sooner). Hope that helps.
A good video idea would be how do you guys handle transition. Do you ball down when you see something you don't like? Or do you chase it in and move left with the same ball?
Enjoyed the video, I would like to see one similar but where you transition down to a lower horsepower ball and play a straighter line if for some reason that inside line was not working out. Great job.
How do you know when it's better to switch balls vs moving left or right?
Great stuff guys, I'll use this for my High School bowling team to better explain how to adapt to the lane conditions and what transition is along with how to adapt to it.
Love that you’re throwing the Phaze AI. I’ve been struggling with it because I’m too far right but seeing where you guys are lined up is helpful.
I would love to see you guys do videos like this every week or every other week, but on a harder patterns. After going through all the info, you two should bowl a game against each other. As usual, great vid. You guys are fun to watch.
Thanks alot for this video. I struggle alot of trying to force my shot instead of adjusting to what the lane is giving me. Great video as always!
When should I make a hand/release adjustment vs a speed adjustment vs a foot adjustment? There are times where I felt I moved left too soon, or when I should have moved right and piped it.
Love this view when you think out loud. I would love to hear when you determine you need to change balls. For example Brad mentioned starting with a stronger ball, when does he determine when he would want to ball down
I used to think standing here and throwing there as a 45 year-old with 220 average was just that it’s no challenge and I’m wasting my practice.
My 61-year-old body sporting 190 begs to differ. Don’t under estimate how hard this game is.
When a novice , or someone who is as good as they’re ever gonna get, comes up to you in wide eyed amazement about how you look, how effortless and smooth or graceful you look posting the shot or what your score is……be gracious and understand it’s not easy for them, if you can’t, don’t worry one day if you bowl long enough, it will be for you.
As an aside, my common refrain now when my body is not listening to what my brain is telling it to do is… I might not score as well as I used to, but I still look good!!!!
Had lumbar back surgery in August. Bowled for the first time post op on new years and broke 600 my first series back. I was so pumped !! Ty for the all the tips. Could u explain how Kyle is feeling nowadays post op ?
Oh my. Did anyone else hear Kyle's neck crack at the 1:10 mark? My neck felt better after that one.
I would like to know. I may know the answer based off what I’ve heard from the pro shop guys. BUT, does urethane balls NOWADAYS actually make a difference when you up against it? Does it make the lane transition in any special type of way that sabotages the other team? If that makes sense? I know the old school rollers with the old school urethanes it would make a difference on the lanes and affect other bowlers on the same pair forcing them to roll the ball outside the urethanes line or rolling the same line with their own urethane like fighting fire with fire.
But yeah. That’s the question. Does urethane affect the lanes nowadays more than a regular resin ball? Like the OG purple hammer pearl urethane and such. Thanks in advance if you cover this. I hope I see the reply if you do!
Sincerely,
Louisville house bowler currently riding the struggle bus. 😅
Love the videos and tips you guys provide, sometimes I have a hard time knowing early on if the ball I'm using is too laboring to make it strike when another ball of mine I can be sloppy with and strike more effortlessly.
Really been trying to do something about staying behind the ball more consistently.
The method you guys use in this video work great with the number of shots taken in practice. However, in leagues that I play in, we only have 10 minutes of practice. I normally get only 3-4 shots and time is up. That’s only 2 shots on each lane. So when the lights come on, we are still going through the process for a few frames sometimes. I know that watching others can help. But most amateur bowlers don’t have a clue regarding making adjustment and trying different things, so their shots normally don’t really help. What would you suggest for getting lined up quickly in this scenario?
Similar experience from our league. 4 man teams, I usually get about 8 shots. My teammates all play different lines with different ball speeds.
great vid guys, sometimes we get to comfy when bowling in our house we're use to. This reminds us to stay humble.
Right on time guys!!!!
Thanks!!!!
As you fellas move left
Do you get softer with your hand?
If Your a right Hander and your playing say 4th or 5th arrow 🏹
From the right gutter what are yours eyes 👀 looking out downlane?
A certain pin ie 6pin or a certain board down lane or using the Range finders the darker board for 3point targeting ❤🎉😊
Love the channel
Just now watching this video, but I came to the same conclusion of bowling what works for you two/three weeks ago. With my low speed and high revs capabilities, playing straight up the lanes is a no-go for me. In order to keep up with my male teammates, I have to play at least at the 4th arrow. By the end of leagues, I'm playing at the 5th arrow.
Nice content. Thanks, guys.
I just got back into bowling after 34 years out due to medical.now back in and love the game again more so. I'm just learning kinda on my own how to shape/hook/ curve the ball. I'm a down and in type player but can kinda shape the ball a lil bit.i wear a wrist positioner got use to using it. ? Idk but away your video is just awesome and much more interpretation for me. I have to go practice now thank you guys happy new year 🎉 May the strikes be with ya Denis Mac❤❤🎳🎳🎳👍🇺🇸
It would help me as well as other high average bowlers to describe your ball layouts used in videos like this. Layout design drastically affects how the ball will react on the lane and could alter alignment substantially.
Thanks for tthe tips! Keep it up guys!
Great video brad and kyle
Great video on house shot evaluation.
Loved the video. I can never seem to get lined up when bowling and I never understand what to look for.
I've started incorporating your method of how to practice before league games into my routine, and it’s been working really well! My team has been performing much better lately.
I’m a two-finger, no-thumb bowler, but I’ve been struggling with consistency. I think my accuracy is suffering because of slight changes in my palm position during the swing. Do you think I should drill a thumb hole to fix this?
Honestly, when everything is clicking, I’m throwing games in the 210-240 range. But when it’s hot, I’m sweating, or it’s a tough game, I’ll sometimes drop to 155, and it feels like a grind just to get through. Any advice?
If you think you are changing your hand position slightly, you can put the "X" orientation mark in a spot you can feel on your hand. Then make sure that X is on the same spot on all of your bowling balls relative to the fingers.
Great stuff guys.
As a speed dominant bowler with a 250ish rev rate and 15-16 on the monitor my strategy has been to stay pretty close to 8-12 at the arrows and ball down as the lanes transition in league. Would be interested in hearing your opinions.
same here. I'm just starting to think about ball speed, the center i bowl at just got updated and now we can see ball speed on each shot so its something ive been thinking about more this season.
@ ball speed on the monitor can be a little misleading depending on where you throw the ball all. For same speed off your hand a shot in the dry to the right will slow the ball down more than if you keep it in middle in the oil.
Our house is old wood lanes. Very high friction and rapid transition. When I get left of center and the ball STILL goes thru the nose or left of it (I’m a righty) i start driving myself crazy. I’ll take your advice and try not to get too grabby with it and mess with speed some. Keep up the good work guys
Great video guys. I would like to see you guys explain for New bowlers how to use a benchmark ball and adjust from that by either moving right or balling up.
Being a new bowler. I like to see / understand what you look at if you have to move left. How to throw the ball and at what arrow?
A video telling about all of the terminology you two use would be outstanding!
Great video--would love to see a Lefty included your mix. During league play I constantly have to move to roll through the Righty tracks.
The ending was great I have that problem thanks
Do you have advice for bowling on more heavily used house shots, for example late in blocks at tournaments? I moved left recently in that situation and struck more consistently but left just a handful of splits that made it worse than when I was sticking right but leaving makeable spares.
I just started bowling on string pins
Excellent advice I’ll definitely apply it next week at league 😊
The other thing is that higher or lower ball speed can be achieved by holding the ball higher or lower in your stance, and starting the pushaway a hair earlier (if held higher) or later (if held lower) so your timing at the line isn't off.
Thank you for this video, some very useful advice that i will use
My target is always the same - the 2 board. I start with my left foot on the 10 board and move left 1 board at a time as the oil breaks down. I usually end the night with my left foot on the 13 board, but sometimes can end up on the 15 board.
My problem is the opposite. I'm strong at staying around 2nd arrow. I feel comfortable throwing between 2nd and 3rd arrow. But, I struggle with going to the third arrow and knowing where to throw it. Like what's the right line to what board.
for me to fix this i did a ton of drills trying to strike at every arrow and playing weird lines
I've stated doing this thing where I pick an arrow to start waking towards, then an arrow to throw my ball across. Forces my feet left to start, and can open my angles some.
Walter Ray gets nose bleeds playing deep inside as well..
Instead of looking at the arrow(cause you know your own shot) stand where you normally would bit look at where you want you break point to be an throw at that spot
Hey dudes, how about a video explaining some tips and strategies for when us house shot guys get "trapped out" or faced with a house shot with a serious "cliff". Some nights in league i know i can score better on a sport shot than fighting our 42 ft mens league pattern. A bowler like myself with about average speed and higher rev player ( like Prather) i find myself unable to move back right during transition and also can struggle trying to climb the hill back when i move way left without a drastic change in rotation, speed or core/cover combos. Any advice ? Maybe a video with some strategies you both have used?
Thanks! Keep the content coming. See you in Detroit this spring.
When they say "playing straight", does that mean throwing the ball straight down the lane (parallel with the gutters, for example) and letting it hook into the pocket?
Congratulations brad!!
Great video! If you made a video also adding in different types of balls and your thought process behind what cover you might want along with transition that would be super helpful.
congrats on your win brad. 450 on that shot was amazing. would like to see some footage.
I'd love to see a deeper dive into some slow-mo shots of the ball going through the pins, to highlight what exactly we're looking for. I've heard you want to hit between the 8/9, it all happens so fast I usually don't see everything or know how to adjust based on what I do see.
Great tips, I want to bowl right now! I'd like to see something about how the ball should be coming off your hand.
I love the instruction and i probably could do all those things to combat the changing conditions on the lanes. But besides the fact that i doubt you’re gonna read 350 comments, one thing i would really like to see is something for the older bowler. i’m a retired fireman that spent 37 years on the job… my body is broken, back is shot, and i can’t throw the ball at the speeds you’re demonstrating and find that it’s almost impossible to keep the ball from hooking too much when the lanes are like bowling on asphalt. I can rarely get over 12 mph and normal would be around 10 mph. I throw a “Dark Web” Hammer and have been thinking of going with a ball with a shinier surface ( different overstock) to compensate for the inability to throw the ball as fast as is comfortable for a 70 year old man…
Hi guys. Great video. Can you do a video about lining up on a sport shot?
Good topic, like Kyle's point about using too much hand, my biggest adjustment is to do that
Love the advice. I wish you guys threw B7 brands though so I could get even more from the channel.
would you guys (depending on the lanes) go with a weaker ball playing straighter then moving left into something stronger to help with blending the heavier oil and other players tracks?
Just finished watching your video. First I love your videos. I always learn something from them. My question is I’m a high rev mid speed right hand bowler (450-500 revs and about 15.5 avg speed) and I usually start about 25 board on approach and pitch it to the 12-17 board but my ideal is 15 board. I bowl left to right when seeing transition instead of the traditional right to left. I guess my question is this a correct form for someone that is either a high rev or 2 handed bowler?
Do you have any videos with Left-hand Bowlers? Thanks for the awesome videos. 👍🏾✌🏾
When you guys talk about making adjustments with your hand, are you purposely changing your rev rate or your axis rotation?
I appreciate you guy's information. What 3 or 4 coverstocks would you put in your bag for typical house shots?
Just getting back into bowling and purchased a stronger ball. I like how you're talking about the house shot and making adjustments. On our practice balls, we're limited to 10 minutes of practice which is never enough time to throw that many shots b/c of the number of bowlers practicing. Aside from watching other bowlers and how their balls are going (assuming they throw similar), what are your recommendations, if any, to speed up this process?
Great video and tips with strategies on lining up on a house shot. If you can find a way to teach and show transition and point out why balls over hook past the head pin, or why the ball had no energy going through the pins or why when you belly the ball while moving left on transition it is not reaching your break point, it can open alot of peoples eyes and not blame themselves on their physical game realize it is the way the environment was shaped. Just way too many variables. Thanks for sharing your insights. You guys are improving alot on explaining the game than when you first started.
The type of shot Brad threw at 9:10 is one I can't do. It never EVER comes back for me. I've tried for years
You gotta keep your hand to the inside part of the ball and not collapse to the outside right at the release point. Also try and bend your elbow to the inside on your down swing Lots of amateurs have that problem. Obviously even a little bit will affect the ball motion. Yes it’s tough to master that and brads hand isn’t doing anything that crazy regarding excessive movement just a very slight turn at release, etc.
@@pilotpete405 I definitely need to get under the ball a little more. My average is 200 House and 170 sport. My problem is that I throw 17 mph with low to medium rev, so I don't give it time to come back if I wanted to throw that kind of shot. Whenever I try to throw slower, my mechanics go all over the place. Thanks for the reply.
this is a really informative video! I think something you hinted at is following the transition of other players as well. Is it possible to do a video in regards to trans with high rev rate. I went from 1 hand tweener to 2 hand ripper and I am really taking a while to learn where to move and how to know when to move. any and all help is awesome. if you already did a video like the one im asking for please share, I looked but maybe I missed it. Thank you guys!
Excellent insight! This really helps!
I enjoyed the video thanks. I wanted to know exactly how you guys target your target or zone, because 2nd arrow can be played in many different ways, using any number of angles. I am referencing if you use a 2 point targeting system or a 3, to get a consistent shot?
Also watching you guys compete in 7-10 lowest game match video would be awesome.
Please do a video on where to stand & where to look for intermediate bowlers. I have a 165 Average, I’m standing at the 24 board and looking around the 9. I’m thinking about moving, and feel I can start hooking a bit more, but not sure where to go.
Grats on the win brad!
Love the video. Thanks for the tips!
Love the videos! Very educational!
Good video and information. Would you breakdown “looking at” in a video sometime? Example starting on 20 looking at 14. Are your feet and shoulders facing 14 at release or is 14 the most inside you want the ball to carry on? I know that’s an elementary question but it where I strugggggggle most days. Thanks for all your time and info you share!
One of my issues this past week was the transition. I knew I had to move left but my hand release was the problem and where I was aiming at on the lane. Is there anything you guys recommend to get around the ball so that I can throw the ball out and let it come in?
Do you have any videos for one hand no thumb or is everything the same as thumb in?
Great video!! I would love to see you guys do pro vs am offer lessons or something if am wins
i like these house shot videos... i can relate :)
How do you increase your ball speed without grabbing at the bowling ball? I am having real issues with when I want to increase my speed. I tend to grab the ball sometimes. A video about that would be helpful for me.
Do you look at the arrows or do you look down lane at the break point... I was taught to look at the break point down lane where the light meets the dark.... What is the difference as far as ball motion looking at arrows or down lane. I feel like the ball gets longer easier if you look longer... Thoughts?
