      @DS-qz2gu Месяц назад +3

      For me, the only leave you can reasonably claim is a “bad break” is a solid 8 (9 for lefties), since a lot of the time that’s due to a bad rack. And even so, you can make an adjustment to avoid it if you leave it. So yeah, 100% agree with you here. Hate when people talk about bad breaks and luck.

    • @sonofnothing
      @sonofnothing Месяц назад

      Yep watch the flat 7 hits, the ball deflects off the headpin pretty bad. The urethane balls tend to do that, and almost like carrying the 7 is luck vs leaving it being bad luck.

    Omg! Why does Svensson insist on playing that 78u? To say he has a poor look is putting it mildly! Be better of sticking with good old Pitch Black

      I disagree, there’s very little luck in bowling IMO. There’s an adjustment to make pretty much every time you don’t strike, other than when you occasionally get a bad rack and leave an 8 pin (9 pin for lefties) or something like that.
      Definitely agree with your last sentence though; unlike a lot of sports, in bowling any professional can beat any other professional so literally anything can happen in a stepladder like this.
