THIS is the kind of video that really helps me out! .. I have a hard time, sometimes, deciding on the proper ball to use. I had that problem in Sunday night league this week. Did ok in first game, nothing spectacular. Made some ball adjustments in second game but made the wrong ones. I corrected my ball mistake in the final game and was back into the 200's again (215, which is good for me). Choosing the right ball at the right time can really make a big difference. I'm learning .... Thank you Brad !!!
Nice Video, objective and reaffirming our personal bowling knowledge and experiences. Back & Forth chit chat between Brad and Daniel was also very free flowing.
Shorter pin flares less and flares sooner. As the ball rotates, flare results from the pin migrating from its initial position to the PAP (laying down). When you shorten the pin-PAP, you're pre-laying down the core
Another great video! So even amongst asym balls, there is a lot of variation? Because it sounds like some are concave while others jut out. Could you give a couple of examples of very different asyms?
Quick question, even though this was a great video generally speaking for every ball in your arsenal I’m still confused within a six ball arsenal, which should be the number two or the number three ball meaning between the strong symmetric or the cleaner asymmetric? If you can quickly clear this up, that would be great.
With these 4 balls specifically it would probably be, in terms of strength or order out of the bag, the following. 1. Ion Max (strong sanded solid) 2. Summit (strong sanded hybrid) 3. Attention Star (strong polished pearl) 4. Phaze Ai (medium polished pearl) So essentially the order he threw them. 1 and 3 being asymmetrical, and 2 and 4 being symmetrical.
I am middle of the middle at 400 revs and 17.2 mph on the monitor. Most of my pieces are pin up, pin over bridge/ring finger. I can adjust the speed and revs a little to give the lanes what they want. Thanks for this one Brad.
That gives me room to miss my ball? 🤣🤣 I’m just messing with you it’s how you worded it I know what you mean though. For me it’s symmetric or low asym balls. Bigger asyms just stand up to fast for me.

This just helped me narrow down arsenal choices. Thank you both… it all makes a lot more sense now!
I love these tutorials, thanks guys for having Coach Dan do these with you . He surely helps us all understand it in layman’s terms. He’s great !
The lighting change at 0:59 holy moly my eyes
I'm at the 2 minute mark, and it's changed at least 5 times. I feel dizzy 😆
Beautiful! Excellent treatment of the subject.
It's always a good day when a new Brad and Kyle video comes out!
What a great video... Asym and Sym talk can get pretty detailed, but you guys really simplified it in only 16 mins. Awesome vid
What a great video! Thank you for all the info / explanation!
Congrats on the win this past Sunday Kyle.
This is great because most videos cover the physical game. To bowl well, under changing conditions, you need to understand your equipment as well.
Thanks for making this video. It reinforces the fact that I'm a bowling nerd that knew this already 🤣
Nice Video,
objective and reaffirming our personal bowling knowledge and experiences.
Back & Forth chit chat between Brad and Daniel was also very free flowing.
This is super informative. Thank you!
Just got the max shot 736 out of box on the Beaten Path. Awesome ball
Great video
My go to pin up is 5x4x1.75 vls. And my go to pin down is 4.75x4.25x4.25 vls
Can you guys explain what we should expect to change when drilling a taller pin and shorter pin please?
Shorter pin flares less and flares sooner. As the ball rotates, flare results from the pin migrating from its initial position to the PAP (laying down). When you shorten the pin-PAP, you're pre-laying down the core
Yea! 😄

I like symetric better then a sym
I wish you guys would show your drilling pattern
I'm pretty sure the vast majority of bowlers out there won't get 50 balls drilled in their whole life.
Right.
My bowling buddy has 65 balls🤣🤣.
Not with that attitude!
You are so wrong there, I know a few bowlers who have a new ball every month, I probably have easily over 50 myself.
Heh... I can name every ball I've had since like 1992.
@chrisalves8614 more like "not with this economy".
Me particularly I would choose a symmetrical ball
I just wonder what the result would be if the symmetric was rolled down and in from the right instead of cross lane from the left.
Oh my lord. The quick zooming in and out and lighting changes need to stop. Pick an angle and leave it alone.
I find I leave a lot fewer 10 pins with an asymmetrical ball
i am a 2 hander 400rpm and 15mp ball speed, is my revs too high for my speed and i should not get a asym?
Asym, solid, taken down to 360. No other ball will do. haha
Symmetrical = Longer hook phase/shorter roll phase
Asymmetrical = Shorter hook phase/longer roll phase

my problem is the differtional numbers is what confuses me what do they do?
“Which”
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Brad and Kyle
Wth is up with the flashing in the video screen? It's ignoring. But I need this knowledge.
Haven't watched the video but whatever ball gives you miss room and strikes.

@@Jesusfanatic0711 Just realize I messed that up lmao. Thanks!
