Thank you so much! That solved my forehand problem that only seemed to happen when playing beginners with loopier shots. Please keep going as I think you have the best tennis channel with original content
You are too kind thank you! Please spread the word :)
Perfect explanation. Thank you so much. I will definetly gonna use this in my next class
Let me know how it goes!!
Yes, I have found the slot through own experience. It brought me a more consistent forehand, especially coupled with visualing a net clearance of about 2 racket height
Awesome! You did it without having to pay for a lesson…well done!
amazing tip!!!
Thank you for the kind words :). I’m glad it has helped you! Happy training!
Now I understand what is meant by the “slot position”. Thank you!
Great to hear! Happy this has helped :)
Thanks Ben! I like hitting a low ball so I actually open the face. This is really going to help as I want to hit with more speed so with the added top spin I can do that👍. Great video ❤
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!
@dawng7270 I just wanted to drop a message to say thanks for your comments and watching my videos. It means alot! If there's anything I can do to help with your game don't hesitate to let me know!
what about a high ball? It seems more difficult to the slot position when the ball comes high
Great question....the slot definitely needs to be higher otherwise your swing becomes too diagonal to the ball, making the timing harder. You can get away with a lower slot if the ball is slow and your timing is good but try to get the hand at least a little higher on those balls. Hope that helps!
