CNHL (ChinaHobbyLine) 1100 mAh, 6s, 100c battery, always had some weird readings on both of my trusty LiPo chargers. 5th and 6th cells were way off. 5th one was showing 5.12V, while 6th one was always showing 3.18V. All other cells were always at 4.20V after the full charge. YES, I do use BALANCE CHARGING, always! That's not the problem. The problem was bad battery. I even falsely believed I'm having trouble with my 5th build's ESCs Voltage readings, but it was far from that. It was just that one battery that I like to use with that quad (quite light).
So, I've decided to push it quite hard and deliberately destroy it. Which at the end I did... at the end of this super short session, battery was super hot (to the point I'd burn my hand if I held it for 2 seconds longer), and two cells were quite swollen. My active buzzer was constantly beeping during this session, and that's nothing new. I've always had that with this same battery. again, definitely something wrong with the battery. No one is causing this behavior, but this one. The good thing, it's dead now... for good! I've used "DESTROY" function on my iSDT D1 LiPo charger, and made it into a paperweight. Good riddance! Better this, than burned down house.

Sëii-FPV
Swollen lipo pillows! My favorite! 💓💓
I've noticed there was something weird with that battery when it first arrived from Amazon, cell readings were always off. And after a short flight, just after maybe 30 seconds into the flight, my active buzzer would start alarming me something is going on with battery. This was its last flight, and I intentionally pushed it little harder to bring it closer to its demise, but not too close to burn down my quad :)

I have to watch your vid two times, once for the amazing footage and twice to check out your gimbal sticks. Great stuff keep it my man
Thanks ðŸ‘
Damn, pretty good video edit for being a rc5o
Sorry, you lost me there... what's rc5o? EDIT: oh, I see now, typo... You meant RCO5 (RunCam Orange 5). I was confused for a moment since it said rc5o, and not rco5. Yeah, I have nothing but amazing experience with Orange 5 footage. You can have a look at this one: ruclips.net/video/H1OiFT2Gx-U/видео.html , or this one (winter time): ruclips.net/video/UhNURPPxi6Q/видео.html
@@Seii-FPV i could never get mine to handle the motion that well! But pretty sure it's rc5o since the original black version would be rc5, lol. i had the original 5 when it came out and then updated to the orange when it was released months later. I forget what they upgraded from the original 5, think the gyro or the sensor or something like that, the orange "was" basically a v2, although I see they make the newer orange version in black too now. Just noticed that the other day when i was thinking about buying a new one... I have two of the rc5o now, But thier batteries are not holding up well from beating them the past 2 years, theyboth have cracked and split housings, lol, last winter I finally got a new GoPro hero 8 black, it definitely seemed to handle motion better, but I crushed the GoPro on the 4th of July flying though neighbors fireworks when my battery lead got chopped and my demibot landed in the road on top of it, i didn't strap the lead down like normal during a quick bat swap... Dumb mistake... the runcam is definitely tougher
Yeah, it's just personal preference what we call it or what kind of abbreviation we decide to stick with. I always believed it's RCO5, and it just confused me because I thought you're thinking of something completely different. No worries, understood now. Yes, you are 100% right - housing of this camera is basically trash. I never crashed it or even just bumped it into something... just from simple sliding into my TPU cage, I've noticed it scratched the edges almost like I intentionally sanded it with sandpaper. Not very good plastic quality. I'm doing that same thing with my Session 5 and my HERO 8 Black, and there is literally not a single ding on those two cameras. The key to decent motion blur on Orange 5, at least in my experience, is to keep everything on manual, and I always use either ND8 or ND16 filters. The most important thing is shutter speed, but depending on your framerate, it's not always that it should be 180 degrees. For example, if I use 30fps, I mostly go with 1/60 shutter speed, but in some cases I use 1/120 as well. Here is a screencap of my RunCam 5 Orange settings - QR Code you can simply scan and your camera will have the same settings as mine. Remember that I use ND filters with these settings. Haha, yes it is. I like it fast :)
I like how you edit your videos
I don't know why you have this few views though, maybe the font of the tittle?
Edit: nah xd , either way, keep it up
I am not sure, but either way it's OK. I am not trying to get subscribers, none of my videos will ever be montized, so it's OK. I like if people find this content little bit interesting, but I upload my videos solely as a personal online archive, where I can check from time to time, and compare some newer videos with my old ones, as well as my flying/making custom quads progress.
Where did you buy what protects the motor cables?
Please check my 7th custom build, frame assembly video (Apex Evo 5"). I've explained couple of things in that video, as well as you should go through comments section there. I replied in there: ruclips.net/video/DEf0o1nNSCY/видео.html
It's amazing, and I love your content so much. I would love to collaborate with you if you're interested. Please contact us!
