I like the C7's styling over the C8.
Same
Yeah same
The C7 is the ricer version of a C5
@@PatrickGotHandsyou out your mind 😂😂😂
for me i prefer the c8 over the c7 but the c7 has more trunk space
Beautiful Corvette.
I just got a 2019 C7 , the amount of compliments you get in a day is unreal.
That’s awesome. What color?
Congratulations! They are awesome cars for sure!
@@zs4573 ceramic matrix gray it's a beautiful color in person.
You also get a lot of hate/jealousy. I have a 2019 Z06 and boy the haters are real!!
@@mnoell35 Yep! Same...Even some women too it's crazy.
Last Thursday i got my 2016 Z51 2LT stingray in white with black racing stripes. Man this car is awesome! Never received so many compliments! I had a 2013 ZL1 and a 2010 2SS RS. This one is in a different league.
Congrats on your purchase. I would say just do the headers, Apex wheels running a square set up, Firestone Indy500 tires and put on a Vortech Supercharger running 6lbs of boost. You'll be making about 600 whp and that will make for an amazing and fun daily.
Sweet ride!!! I see you're rep'n Street Speed 717 there! Awesome! Looking forward to seeing how you're going to mod this Awesome Corvette!
I just bought a C7 today, im picking it up tomorrow! Im beyond excited
How has it been so far? :)
It’s been AMAZING bro!! Best car experience I’ve ever had by far, I’m looking into getting it Cammed and straight piped now 🤣 but it’s hard to find someone in LA that will do it honestly
@@slapyomama2times873 Maan congrats 🔥 sounds like you’re living the dream, I’m saving up to hopefully buy one soon
Very sharp. That’s my favorite exterior and interior color for the c7
Have mine since 5 years now, could not be happier.
Im debating on getting one but i currently daily a 19 rt scatpack charger and i feel like i wont feel much of a difference on hp wise
@@Marlonn323corvettes are faster by a good amount due to being about 1000 pounds lighter lmao
@@EJleon96 yeah i know that but test drove a 2017 z51 vette the other day and didnt feel much of a power difference or its maybe because ididnt get to drive it on the highway. I’ve had my 392 for about 4 years now thinking of going a different route with the vette 🔥
Bought my 2016 C7 new in 2015 and I still love it! It is my 6th Vette and by far my favorite.
They are awesome cars! I have loved them since they came out and have thoroughly enjoyed mine in the few weeks I have had it!
Corvette looks amazing
I loved my C7 Z51... was so fun to drive and got many compliments!! But the C8 is a game changer!! Enjoy your car, almost identical to my previous one!!
Beautiful car bro!
Also I like your shirt.
I appreciate it! And I have been a fan of his for a long time!
I just bought a black z51 love it so far
Same here! Still in the honeymoon phase lol. But great choice! I was going either white or black but decided to go with white since I couldn't pass up the deal!
My brother's c8 is the best looking c8 but i love the c7 due to the trunk space
I'm in the exact same position. Choosing between a 24 gmc x31 and 19 c7. I can make a case for not needing either. Need smiles per gallon
Love my '19 Z06 with three pedals. Enjoy your ride!
Good looking car.
Well you are on the right track. I bought my first car in 1965 a 1947 Chevy Coupe, After i put in a 371 Olds V8 and Blew it up I got a 1964 Corvette Convertible triple white with red dash and carpet, 365 HP, Since then i have owned 7 Vettes. Then I retired and wanted my last Corvette. I had to sell a C6 2007 Ron Fellows due to leg issues. So I found a White 2014 Z51, 3LT A6 with Red guts. I test drove several before settling on this one. Yes Mag Ride is way cool. But the 5,000 miles sold me, even if the dealer would not budge in the $45,000 Price I was Ok with that. But I did not like the Black Badges. If yours come off in good shape maybe i could get them. I painted my wheels White like i did my 98. Now I looking to get the A&A Kit but debate the need for Forged Pistons and Cam. I had boosted 3 Vettes i had and i just love the grunt you get from it. Have fun and think through all the mods. Its a great Corvette for sure. D
I appreciate it! Thats definitely an amazing deal with only 5k miles!
Check out ACS composites for carbon flash splitter and rockers would accent your black badges really well.
There are a lot of nice 14 c7s out there and the consensus is the 6 spd auto is a very reliable transmission compared to 15-16 8 spd. The one major upgrade I would need is the infotainment to use android auto. Curious if you are sticking with stock?
2014 doesnt matter all C7s looks amazing.
great choice.
i want one aswell but here in sweden they are not that cheap.
I think the C7 is one of the few vehicles where the "base model" (Stingray) looks just as good as the Grand Sport. Personally not a fan of the Grand Sport stock wheel style or the winglets on the spoiler. The chrome Stingray or Z51 rim style and the regular spoiler without the winglets looks better.
I’m going to look and possibly buy one today!😎
They are definitely an amazing car to get if you find a good deal on one! I hope you end up getting one for yourself!
Did you buy the ultimate dream car???? 😎
@@50shades_of_memez I ended up not so the search continues. It was a 2015 z51 in silver. 34k miles but previous owner had replaced the original trim with cheap carbon fiber Amazon stuff which made it look a little tacky. Was listed at 49,500 and then after trying to work the lowest they wanted to go was 48,300 which was was to high imo so had to walk away.
@@jeffrobe405 yea I agree you could find a better deal elsewhere that's for sure!! Well good luck on finding the right one for you your doing great not jumping into the first one you see, the right one will find its way to you and I hope you enjoy & be careful out there, 😎‼️‼️👍
@@50shades_of_memez appreciate the insight! Cheers brother!
Beautiful car.......I really like Corvettes in white. I do like the C8 as well, but the markups not so much.
Thank you! And I have to agree with you! I think it is a lot of performance for the money but I couldn't justify over $100k for a slightly over base model C8. For that money you are getting into GT3 territory!
If you're not tracking it do you think you need the Z51 package? I'm looking at getting a C7, and I'm amazed at the price difference between Z51 and non Z51.
I can get a 2019 LT1 non Z51 for the same price as a 2017 Z51 LT2. For me, it's just going to be a summer weekend car.
Got my black/kalahari 2014 3lt m7 back in 2020 with 28k miles for $38k + taxes/fees. Couldn’t be happier
I wish I would have jumped on one pre-covid lol! You got a great deal and a great spec! Enjoy!
Gd channel gd info great looking C7 new sub
I appreciate it!
My decision has come down to this and a GT350… one of the hardest I’ll have to make for a couple reasons.
That's a good one! I considered the GT350 as well!
Beautiful car bro I’m trying to get me one just like yours ! Any advice for me im 20 years old and currently going to save up for a C7
I would say just find something you enjoy doing that can earn you some good cash! Then save up all that you can and cut out unnecessary spending! Once you set that goal and start saving up you will be able to have one sooner than you think!
Had A C4 I Painted Pearl White 🥰😜👊👍✌️🦅🇺🇸🦼
Nice car!! I’m about to buy the exact same one next week 2014 Z51 white red interior how much did yours cost?
You will love it! That's the best spec imo (no bias or anything lol). But mine was right around $47k. I did pay for an extra extended powertrain warranty though!
Very nice! It has the stage 2 spoiler already, add the splitter and side skirts 👍
@@SharpMotorsports Already got them ordered! The car actually came with the Stage 3 Spoiler installed but I took it off. Just wasn't a huge fan of it, plus it cut my rear vision a ton!
Just bought it 15 twin a month ago. Great car.
My favorite Vett is the C7 ZR1 I'm not sure if it has a manual and an automatic in one but I I need if not I'll have to pay to make it custom
You can get it either way! They came in both auto and manual!
I want both at the same time
What year is this car Sir
I would have done a bit more research, in Dec i picked up a 2017 manual C7 with 9800 miles for 49k. 2014s and that 6spd auto arent worth what you paid unfortunately. Love the color combo but 49k i humbly think you over paid partly maybe because the red white combo?
I looked for months and this was about the cheapest one in this combo in decent condition that had been out there. The 49k was including an extended warranty as well as taxes, tags, and all. The retail price on the car was right around 45. But yes partially I was willing to pay more to get the spec I wanted and wasn't going to settle. I feel like 45 is an average price for the miles, condition, spec that I wanted, plus it had a brand new set of tires. I looked at a 16 that had similar miles and the same spec (except it was a 1LT not a 2LT) and they were asking 47k, however the condition was not what I wanted with only having 30k miles. I could tell it had been beat. I also only searches within 300 miles of me to avoid shipping cost as well as give me a chance to inspect the car and drive it before purchasing. Hope this clears things up a little.
Nice, but I have to have the third pedal. That’s what these are made for.
I don't blame you! I went back and forth between stick or auto but ultimately went with the auto just because of where I live and have to drive the stick would be a nightmare. Plus if the wife wants to drive it now she can! That helped me out with getting it and not getting in as much trouble lol!
I wouldn't want no damn 3rd pedal lol.
I have been looking for about a year myself and watching prices come down some. I'm looking for a 2017-2019 LT2 with under 20k to be my daily driver. Pricing I am finding is $51k to $56k.
I have a 2011 White Camaro RS, 6 sp manual with 92k miles.
@@SRQboatingfishing So about the same situation I was in! But yes thats a good budget and they are definitely out there. I found a 16 exact same spec for 51K and a 19 for 56K, both with around 20k miles! You shouldn't have any issue finding a good one in that price range!
does your Z51 come with magnetic ride?
It does!
@@TrawickGarage I'm eyeing a 2016 Z51 2LT as my daily, but it doesn't have magnetic ride control so I'm hesitant. I've read people say it's fine without it but then others say they'll never get a corvette with out it lol.
@@opk6920 I think its personal preference! If you planned to do aftermarket suspension then I would definitely opt out and save a bit. For me I don't really track the car so I don't necessarily "need" the adjustable suspension but again it's nice to have if I want it + the other options that come with the Z51 besides just MRC!
amazing car but be careful with the mag ride if that goes out there goes your bank account enjoy it tho
I've heard lol. I haven't use it much since I got it but I wanted the Z51 so hopefully with keeping it serviced and maintenanced regularly i'll have good luck with it!
In my area, I can’t find for under 50k 🤨 tough call when I can find C8’s for 69k also
It took me a while to find one at a good price! A lot of them were in GA and you almost had to jump on them the same day because they were going so fast! But I feel you on the C8, I looked at them but didn't ultimately my heart was still set on the C7. Most of the "cheaper" C8's I found were base model cars and I knew I would have to put even more cash into it as soon as I got it to get it where I wanted. Either way you go you can't go wrong with a Vette imo. (Of course I am a little biased lol)
@@TrawickGarage I’m set on the c7 to honestly, I’m looking at Grand Sports. Just want the price to drop a couple thousand and I’m grabbing
@@thehorrorfamilyllcyou can find decent grandsports with less than 40k miles for less than 55k but they are hard to find, finding one for less than 50k will be extremely tough rn, might be about a while before we see that if we ever do. The future looks so uncertain
@@EJleon96 I’m In Massachusetts. I’m finding 2015-2016 Z51’s for $48-50k
Grand Sports are upper 50’s into the 60’s around here.
Are these reliable daily drivers????
So far! I have driven mine every day for the last 3 weeks and have been impressed! The suspension is a little rougher than other cars, however it does get better gas mileage than my V6 Camaro which is surprising but really nice! I have seen people put over 100k miles on these things with no issues outside of regular maintenance so we will find out!
if you are treating your camaro correctly, 92k is not even close to high mileage
I have seen them well over the 100k mark. Mechanically it is still in great shape but I was starting to run into some convenience part issues (A.C.), as well as some normal wear and tear body issues that were going to be costly to repair. I talked about those in a different video but I am looking into options on what I want to do with that car moving forward!
What did you pay? I am looking
I was right under 50 including tax, fees, extra warranty, etc.
U think I’ll get accepted for a trade in I have a camero 2018 2ss 38k miles for a c7 man I still owe on it
I would think so! Depending on how much you owe as well as purchase price of the Vette and your credit history I wouldn't think you would have an issue! Those Gen 6 Camaros have held their value pretty well and I don't think the dealer wold have any issue selling it especially with the Camaro getting discontinued! Just don't let them give you a bad value on your car for trade in value!
i wont steal a lexus that is why go ahead bro
6 speed auto? get on it at 45mph in 2nd gear something magical happens
Will have to play around with that lol!
I bought a 2015 Z51 3LT Corvette back in October with only 6,300 miles on it for $50,988.
Love it, amazing car.
To slow sorry
Well isn't that the point of doing a build?
