Great review. I have watched your other reviews of this journey. You mentioned your size both times and reference your brother being tight in there. I can’t imagine Corvette, knowing the average customer, has not thought through average size of an American man. Your brother is not exactly a monster and you are a smaller guy. At 6’1” and 260 bodybuilder, I have sat in a few and of course, it’s a sports car. Not a truck. I fit fine.

You should get the sanddeggo Llc door tags. Make entering night and day, and not having to worry about what critter is hiding inside. Just install them 2wks ago on my 2017 grand sports

You have the same mods I do but I have the carbon package hood, ZR1 wheels ACS functional side scoops, ZR1 3.5 front splitter, stage 2 cam, x pipe and color matched eye lids. No CAI on your car? Love that color best imo

Me only six months of owning a 2014 stingray and car got 8k miles right now. Hopefully the car is reliable. My daily is a 350z.

Beautiful Vette. I'm thinking of getting a C7 as well. My concern is ground clearance. I live in Converse, TX . My house has a uphill driveway ...I'm concerned about scraping the bottom of a Vette. ?
How much ground clearance can I expect?

Is yours aftermarket exhaust? If so which one? Which other mods have you done? Is the carbon fiber interior just stick on pieces? Where did you get those? Thanks!
Yes it's aftermarket exhaust. American racing longtube headers, American racing offroad xpipe, corsa extreme catback exhaust, I have done lots of mods for interior, exterior, so on. The carbon fiber are stick on pieces I got from Amazon. You can watch my other videos in the Playlist section for my mods.

@ttvdecimatedbyme9130 the exhaust system alone was around 4k and that's without labor, I installed the Ported throttle body by myself and the throttle controller, those together were around 450, it can get pretty expensive, my car was dynoed with the mods I have at 430whp and 460wtq, so definitely around 500 crank hp for sure maybe more.
Great review - so if you were going to buy a used C7, what model and year would you buy? Also, which option package 1LT, 2LT, or 3 LT? I've been looking on eBay and locally.
Thank you! If you are going to buy a C7 in the auto transmission I would say get 16 and above with the updated 8 speed transmission, if you get a manual transmission then it doesn't matter what year really but overall I would say for either transmission try to get a 16 and above, for the trim I would say 2LT or higher so you get the little add ons and such with the 2LT and up trim. Better leather, heads up display, heated and vented seats, etc lots of little add ons that make the car better. If you have any other questions let me know.

I’m curious, Is your car tuned??? If so can you make a video showing the tuner device options for c7s and maybe some of the common tuning company’s we use I’m not sure who’s reputable more along the lines of having someone remote tune
I am dyno tuned, not hand held tuned, although I keep the old hand held tuner in my center console for a code reader for the car in case a code pops up.

I quite like the C7 and really want a corvette when i get out of the military in 2 years. They aren't going for that much now seeing some going for 20-35,000. But i also really like the C8, what do you guys think about this?
I prefer the look of the c7, I've driven both c7 and c8, both feel completely different, c7 still feels more raw and the c8 feels more defined.
Did you need a time after your headers and exsaust
If you want the check engine light to go away on the dash you would need to get a tune. The headers will make the CEL come on.
I just got my z51 from 2015 with 19k miles from carmax, what mods don’t void the car warranty?
I'm not sure man I didn't get the warranty for mine because I wanted to mod it, you can research online and probably find your answers there. Sorry I can't be of more help. Congrats on the new car!
Is the decal on the hood available through Chevrolet?
I'm not sure about through Chevrolet but I know you can get it online from just about anywhere.

You can definitely daily this car, alot of people do, just depends on preference, if you plan on keeping it long term, the more the merrier! Do it!

No its carbon fiber pieces that I bought from Amazon, they have 3M on the back that stick to the dash

I didnt daily it myself but I have friends who do daily and they love it, so it can definitely be done. It's a car at the end of the day so drive it how ever much you like!

@PeterSchneemann I sold it because I'm going to upgrade to a C7 z06, I prefer the look of the c7 vs the c8, but it's all preference

@@TheRogueVetteis far as I know the manual transmissions only deactivate the cylinders in eco mode.. I was wondering if you never use the Eco mode if the Afm lifters would still be a problem or not
@tyronejones1864 when I got my dyno tune done for my headers and exhaust I had them tune out the AFM DOD so it would not go into V4 mode, it stays in V8 mode all the time now with my auto trans

Question for you sir... 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51 I have. Manual Transmission. Idle is 600rpm. Just for piece of mind, I would like to increase it to 750rpm. Will this hurt anything? I'm old school and just think 600rpm is soo low and could cause lugging issues like it can on a motorcycle. Thoughts?
I believe the stock rpm for the c7 corvette is 650ish, I wouldn't know what 750 would do, maybe you could look into forums for your answer, sorry I can't be of more help.
