Still think the iPhone 15/15+ are the most compelling and value for money offerings that we've seen for years from the base models, it's basically an iPhone 14 Pro.
yes the problem with the pro is that it brings things that we don't need and mostly don't use at this point, so I went with the regular iPhone 15. To be honest I don't notice the 120 hz that much.

I think you might be releasing an app that does all the comparison of different phones from battery capacity, cpu performance, gpu performance, price, best deals, affiliate links etc for each phone.
for me i have the iphone 12 pro max pacific blue color. or i can wait for the iphone 16 pro max or the iphone 17 pro series. coming in 1 to 3 years and maybe a full screen/ display. and also thin bezels for the iphone series is it worth it to upgrade to the iphone 15 series with usb-c port. or i can get a gaming phone for a good price.

Ive had my 12 pro max; nothing wrong with it, batter holds up well still. Just out of storage, still love the camera. 12 Pro really lived up imo. Thinking of getting the 15 pro.

I want to upgrade from my now very sluggish Galaxy S10 because of connectivity. Have an Ipad and Macbook for Uni, this will be my first Iphone. I am leaning more towards the standard 15, the only thing I keep going back on is the 120 Hz. I don't know if I can justify the 250€ extra that it would be for me to get the Pro instead, especially since I don't have airpods yet, although it would only be 10 more Euros a month.
I am also trying to avoid buying the 14 pro, since that is also more than the 15 base and doesn't give me Usb C and I would like buying from Apple directly.
Any thoughts? Would really appreciate some input from people that already have been using Iphones for a while now since I am very new to the idea. Thanks!
Go with the 15 plus if you can spend the money or save the money for airpods . Unless its for a computer screen 120z is not needed at all for phones . You are going to spend 300+ after taxes if you go for the pro and you already have an idea on what could grab with said money. You could even grab a nice pair of noise canceling headphones for the money if you went with the standard since that's what I use when i study.
It's not needed but difference can be clearly seen,especially if you already used 120hz display

I’ve had a 13 pro since its release and the triple lense camera was a nightmare. It brightens the photos a lot after the picture is taken and it ruins the colours. It also overexposes a lot too, which makes the photos brighter than they should be, especially with lower light. I hope they fixed that on iphone 15 pro max. But personally I’m thinking of switching to 15+. 120mhz is not even visible on daily tasks, in games perhaps, yes.

The camera can be worse on the newer ones sometimes
some people just aren't sensitive enough to refresh rate to see a difference. but for me its just so much smoother.
Buy a Samsung then. The Galaxy s20 ultra will always be the best camera to ever come out on a smartphone. Even the newer Galaxy s23 ultra camera is not as good as the s20 ultra. The s20 ultra was just an over-built phone.

please upload iphone 15 camera comparison or detailed camera test as no one has uploaded it yet and viewers are waiting for it.
i went from iphone XS MAX to the iphone 15 pro max, i can notice the 120hz refresh rate, to me it feels similar to using motion blur but 60hz was never a problem it still feels super smooth.
The camera even on my XS MAX is satisfactory and detailed to me in daytime but in darker light it struggles a lot and is super grainy, and if the lighting is strong it doesnt take good pictures but the 15 pro max does it well. and zooming ruins the picture quality on xs max but 15 pro max is incredible at it
processor speed n stuff i haven’t noticed a difference yet i played CODM on my xs max and i can run high settings easily but i didnt get the game yet on the 15 when i do i want to see how it can run ultra and on 120hz .

The Pro models offer a handful of features that the normal person wouldn't use. I decided to get the 15plus over the Pro max because as much as they try to market these minor improvement's, they just aren't enough for the price diff being essentially half the payment of the standard models . AAA games with a 120hz display, I wish there was some other tech that could let us do something that profound . 120hz for phones is a complete gimmick since majority are scrolling through emails and social media. Would you like to zoom in a little more and scrolling be a bit smoother? That will be another 300+ dollars after taxes ...

I have an X that I've had for over 5 years now. I'm sure any one of them will probably blow me away haha. Since I'm doing a monthly payment, I'm considering getting the pro max, it's only a few more dollars a month and I know I'll have it for years. And I actually prefer the colors haha.
Purchased 15 plus this time to replace my 12 pro. I kind feel that it has the best combination of weight, battery, screen size and camera combinations. BTW, I plan to use it without a case this time.

We have a price difference of $410 between these two models (Plus Pro Max) in France. I won't be getting 256GB, and I won't have 120Hz. However, 120Hz is not worth $410 for me. I don't use the camera

Expect a lot of thermal throttling on the 15 pro max when playing triple A titles. With the price of the 15 pro max, I can buy a decent gaming pc with an rtx 4070.

I want to see if I understand this correctly. Let's say you want to zoom 4x on the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. If you zoom to 4x on the Pro, you're going to have a cropped zoom of the 3x telephoto lens. But, if you want to zoom to 4x on the 15 Pro Max, you're going to have a cropped zoom from the main 1x lens all the way up until 4.9x?
Or just walk forward a few steps to take 3x zoom regular Pro
Or few steps back for 5x zoom on Pro Max

Currently, I have the iPhone 14 Pro Space Black 256GB which has scrolling stuttering, battery life is bad, it has lags in the Camera app and some games and overheating issues. I’ve used a 12PM before which was too big and heavy to use, but now the lighter Titanium and curved edges can make it feel more comfortable.
With all the issues you’ve told me i don’t see why an upgrade isn’t reasonable. Black titanium seems like the nicest option to

@@satxrnhimself Black is a big no no from me, also won’t get blue. I had sierra blue 13 Pro Max and it looked like a $100 cheap phone in daylight and indoors. White will probably be my goto if I don’t like Natural Titanium, am going to apple store this Friday to look at colours with my own eyes so I don’t get disappointed like with 13 later.
Also 256GB is plenty for gaming i use my 14 Pro Max mostly for long continuous gaming(like 2-3 hours at a time) : Genshin Impact (High,60FPS), PUBG etc.
I do take a lot of pictures when i go outside but that’s like 2,3 times a month 😅.
Currently i have 66GBs left out of 256GB, first 110GBs filled up really fast and got me worried but i am now stuck with more than 60GBs left. Have total of 165 Apps installed, the above 65 i use like once in 6 months so can delete them if i need space.
Edit:14 Pro Max Deep Purple is best colour that will ever exist in iphone i my opinion.
