I swear the music contributes a lot to the whole show. Goosebumps every single time, man. Beautifuly written and combined with the great music, there's no way tears not gonna fall down your face.
Yuki hayashi and asami tachibana are fantastic.
@@slj1537 I couldn't agree more. In my spotify playlist since then for a reason.
Big fan of Yuki Hayashi. This and the MHA OST are outstanding.
I have this soundtrack on my phone and listen to it from time to time. God does it give me goosebumps.
Ushijima telling them that he'll defeat them next time after his last highschool game is him basically saying "you better not quit after highschool so we can play again"
Nah, it's saying he knows they'll play professionally as well
Yeah it's cool, he's like acknowledging that they're gonna be good enough to be professionals
Yeah...he finally acknowledged them as GAME.Still gives me chills remembering how my heart just stopped when they won
It's always the clip of Daichi, Suga and Asahi hugging each other that gets me man 😭😭
Don’t let this win distract you from the fact Bokuto now has complete complete victory over Ushijima.
I can’t believe they topped the Aoba Josai finale last season, but they did for me at least. You guys have been so invested in this show, and the effort you put into these reactions show. Also, great editing BOLDeditor. That crowd edit was excellent
facts, Bokuto beats Ushijama
Bokuto > Ushijima. The true result of this harrowing match, for sure
Bruh ushijima >>>>>>>>> any day
I think you said you weren't really a sports guy, Carson, but players being disappointed in themselves even after a decent performance is actually quite common, especially when you get into the professional scene. It's what drives them to keep improving and not rest on their laurels.
That being said, there is a limit, and Tsuki shouldn't beat himself up for "only" shutting down one of the top three spikers in Japan in his first year of highschool. You're absolutelt right about that. Though, you can consider that character development too, considering that Tsuki only just started caring about his performance in games. Him being frustrated is something new! XD
Yeah, Ennoshita was the same too after the Wakunan match because of how many messups he'd had before getting into the groove. But, in really big situations, you just have to be glad that you put up a great fight and came out on top, because it was the only shot you had in the first place.
its the national youth training camp for the under 19 national team. they talked about it in episode 2 x01, because ushiwaka attended it until he got to old. they only invite first and second year students.
the tokyo qualifers are a bit different than miyagis, since they are such a big prefecture. they have the 4 best teams duke it out in a mini tournament and usally the first and second place can go to nationals. but this year tokyo hosts the nationals, so they have another spot and they can send 3 teams to nationals. and fukurudani and nekoma made it to the top 4
Man Ushijima really is awesome
*fukorodani and nekoma made it to the top 3
@@shreksmith nah only fukorodani made it to top 3 , nekoma lost to karasuno
Tokyo ALWAYS hosts Nationals
@@semen1367 bro... You spoiler something that never happened in the manga (edit: anime)
We are talking about the qualifications.
The only 3rd seasons that are on the same level as this one are Gintama (I count Gintama': Enchōsen as the 3rd season) and Attack on Titan S3 Part 2. Both are just stretches of amazing emotional intensity.
Nationals take place in the first week of January- it's called the Spring Tournament because it used to be held in March, but they moved it up so that third years (who would have already graduated by then) can still participate, but it kept the old name of the tournament (Harukō for short).
The National Youth Intensive Training Camp is an invite-only training camp for the best of the best under-19 players. It takes place in mid-December before the final exams. The best of the best from the camp will join the Japan U-19 team, the best of whom go on to the National Team (some of them in real life are so good they made the National Team while under-19 though lol)
"Why are so hyped about a show about Volleyball?"
Haikyuu Fandom: 12:16
Thank you so much for this upload schedule! Truly made these 2 weeks really hype (and rewarding, since I've just finished my finals x)
Don't think I've said this before, but I love how absolutely out of control but still sincere your hype is! Makes me way too hype for someone who's watched this like 50 times already xD It might be hard to believe it, but with the way Haikyuu just keeps getting better and even more hype from here on, all of this makes me actually really worried for your hearts with the stress xD
In the manga the frame where all 3 of Karasuno's older regulars hold Ushijima up actually doesn't have Hinata and Tsukki in it (it is clearly implied by earlier frames though), but I really like this change in the anime~
It's so funny how you said "why isn't [Hinata] on the basketball team??", cause that's Exactly what happened in that scene in the manga! The basketball players were thinking about snatching Hinata for their own team, but Daichi heard and silenced them with a meaningful glare lmfao
Bruh I've never seen these two hop this much and i thought u both were the calm ones 😂
yep i couldn't wait another week and had to get patreon access! LOL thanks for the great reaction and glad to hear you both enjoyed the ride thus far :D
PLEASE DO THE SHIRATORIZAWA AFTER GAME REACTION!!! ITS A REALLY SHORT ONE BUT ITS REALLY COOL THAT YOU CAN SEE THAT SIDE OF THE TEAM
They've reacted to it already (plus Land vs Air too). Unfortunately you can watch them on Patreon only.
the moment they won andthe 3rd years hugged.. tears were in my eyes
Now, you need to watch these short extra ending after their match. Around 2-6 minutes.
Shiratorizawa - ruclips.net/video/Utjg2EmYqE8/видео.html
& also for Aoba Johsai - ruclips.net/video/Lao54_hFaA0/видео.html (don't think you've seen them)
Enjoy ;)
Ahhh I am so so happy you decided to upload every weekday thank you thank you!!!! This season was intense, and you finally got to the stressful but satisfying part of the show! Onwards to To The Top!!!
Most people tend to react differently than I did for Tsuki & Yamaguchi’s after match scene. I saw it as a continuation of his arc of diving a layer deeper into volleyball. He still had/has the drive to stop more of Ushijima’s spikes. The distraught of only kill blocking one seen as fuel to better himself so that next time he can kill block more than just one against an opponent of ushijima’s level. From a person who previously only saw this as a club activity.
Tsuki is a perfectionist; that's just his nature. His hesitancy to embrace volleyball was partly his disillusionment with his brother's experience but also understanding his nature and not wanting to invest so much in something that wasn't "important."
Bro I rarely comment on videos, but yall dropping these videos daily has been like a routine. Loved the reaction, im sure other people had said already but Season 4 dropped on quality which is one of the best things about haikyuu, but its still haikyuu with an amazing story💪🏽
your editor is making v nice work!
Love your reaction! The tears are always a part of this finale
Your editor is goat 😂
I've probs seen this several times already and it never fails to make me emotional. I started tearing up while watching your reactions 🏐
I am so glad that Suga is the one who receives the trophy
Daichi receives the official certificate as captain, so it makes sense Suga receives the trophy as vice captain. I love how involved he is even if he isnt a starting player. Hes still a team leader for sure
I got Patreon access for this one haha it's a great show but also good on you guys for being VERY solid reactors and for loving this show so much.
God I love the metaphor with him vs the whole team. The camera movement with the animation and music. Just masterful
I love your editing 😂😂 You make my day better ❤️
When your Shiratorizawa and you realize Juuban was holding back his run 😮. Great editing you guys
4:55 🤧🤧
最後に得点が決まった瞬間に喜ぶのではなくキャラクターが喜ぶまで耐えた人初めて見た!
好感しかない!!
Imagine that this was the ending that most of us had for years until Season 4 came out, and we were hung on the "Kageyama going to another training camp". I still believe as it is, it is an excellent ending even with all the questions that that scene generates.
10:00 I understand. Tsuuki is just the type of person that’s hard on himself..😤😭
They forgot to watch the Shiratorizawa after-credits scene, no? Such a shame...Love that tidbit of raw emotion.
A very relaxing anime they (boldcast) said....
can't wait for season 4
I know it's not your thing, but the Haruko prelims just finished, and the Kyoto prelim this year is basically a live action version of this.
Would love to see you guys react to it. I can find a link if you're intetested ❤
Comment number 69(for the culture!) : once someone said: how on earth can a volleyball cartoon makes you cry?
THE VIDEO: YES
I had to wait 4 years for season 4 after that cliffhanger!!! I broke, and read the manga. But season 4 is awesome. Still waiting for 5 though. [it’s coming…but the wait is painful]
can’t wait for the next season!!!
When 3rd years cry I cry 😭😭
i loved how Carsons reaction to Tsukki undermining himself was simultaneous to Yamaguchi's-
good for you you can watch next season whenever you want, I watched this as it was being released xd
About length, I dont know why, but japan kinda release anime as the season of the year, 12 ep. 1 season, 24 ep. 2 seasons. marketing? structurate population?
please watch the next season ASAP. It's on another level!. Please, please please...
When crows flock, an eagle will buckle
Actually aside from Kageyama, Karasuno got another one who's actually qualified to go for NYTC. It's just that that guy is kind of questionable 🤣.
What’s questionable about my main lad Noya?
@@BOLDcast Well, I said "Kind of". I don't know how to word it out correctly, but Noya had this "Overzealous" aura (more than someone in the training camp itself).
And he got a history of suspension. There might be a chance that the organizers checked on the school records of the candidates. (Which is kind of bs cause if their looking at school records, they should consider Kageyama's school performance).
@@ushijimawakatoshi1429 we talk about it in ep 1 of season 4, but i think its just because Liberos are less likely to get a lot out of the training camp, since they wouldn't be playing any other position in actual games. So it wouldn't be worth it to switch around like Kageyama does during the camp but idk. I personally think its just a story reason, like they already had kageyama going and then Tsukki going to the prefectural one, and the narrative purpose is to show progression of the main characters and create more rivalry and pressure for Hinata. And If Noya was there, the story would be less focused on Kageyama being a sort of "fish out of water" if his big little bro Noya was there backing him up. Does that make sense?
@@BOLDcast To be honest Noya just isnt that much of an insane libero. He is very good but I am not sure he even makes top three.
Maybe Noya isn't someone who loves Volleyball that much, and the youth camp wants passionate people there. Noya chose to attend Karasuno Highschool for their cool uniforms and pretty girls after all. (It's mentioned in Season 1) LOL
the music 🔥🔥🔥
Let’s Go!!!!
guys i forgor, is this arc before or after VS miya?
the guy looks exactly like the guy from aoba johsai who elso pounds the desk when the game is intense lol
OMGG CRYING TIME
I have been in the situation Shiratorizawa is in before and is SUUUUUCKS. Its so heartbreaking when you are poised to have a good shot at winning at nationals in a sport and then you get knocked out in regionals via bad luck/a single mistake or something similiar by a weaker team.
😢
Imagine being Ushiwaka there, boy breaks his back carryng like a mf 5 straight sets to lose LMAO
Ah....the 3rd-years get to play more.
W editor
There's a reason this is my second favorite show of all time.
And it's because it isn't FMA:B.
Watch the after part for shiratorizawa! Its a good short clip
This is what anime made us do, it make us cry, feel joy, anxious, nervous, feel anticipated, where normie will never understand.
Hope you'll check out Hajime no ipo after this show
Ipo is so long though omgg just thinking about it exhausts me 😂
fuck yeahhhhhh!!!!!
i love it👺
what a letdown... I expected more of HYPE reaction to this episode but oh well.. it can't be helped!
just KIDDING... I LOVED the reaction!!!!
please you have to react to the ovas before the 4th season it is called land vs air and the continuation of this is the path of the ball they are important
PLEASE DO THE AFTER GAME SHIRATORIZAWA REACTION, IS JUST A FEW MINUTES BUT ITS A MUSSST!!! THE VIDEO IS HERE ON RUclips
Can someone find me the scene where hinata and tanaka say "sorry sorry sorry" while dancing in the background ?
Thank you 😉
❤️
HYPEKYUUUUUU!!!!
IMO the animation quality for s4 is a downgrade, but you can't honestly tell, as the storytelling and emotional payoffs always deliver, only getting better. Keep it up guys, great, awesome reactions!
Season 3 over!! Lesgou.
There are no parents because the final is like 10 am in a Tuesday, so the audience is high school students, college students and seniors. Again, this is a school event, not a gladiator-like experience like whatever they do in Usa
Exactly. Moms are busy at home, and dads are at work (typically, this is still quite the norm, with the timeline of the show, and Japan in general). Parents are not required to go to school events, and are really only expected during the first day of grade/middle/high school and graduation
I can assure you, volleyball matches in the USA, at least high school matches, are not "gladiator-like" at all. It's like pulling teeth to get parents to come support their kids (or even to bring them to matches or practices; hence, why my mother had seven players in her car 3-4x a week). Unless you're some big school, there's rarely an audience (usually less than 75 people). Most of the school games occur in school gyms with wooden or metal bleachers that are extremely uncomfortable to sit in and in facilities without air conditioning (and our seasons begin in mid-August, when it's usually 90 degrees). Occasionally, there's a nicer facility for a tournament, but it's usually a school gym out in the middle of nowhere. It's not flashy nor glamorous nor some colossal tilt. Our games are usually late in the afternoon or in early evening (except on Saturdays when games begin at 8 or 9am), and parents generally aren't available because they are getting off of work or going into it. Furthermore, our season is the same as football and soccer, so some parents can't be around because they have to split time between their kids' various sports.
@@kunterborn1 Sorry, maybe I was indelicate. I was referring to the whole epic around sports in Usa, kinda the main point of going to school apparently.
Everywhere else, school is a place where you learn and other activities are a plus. So it's natural to support your kids, but without all that magic aura of "we have to support the team no matter what or both I and my kid will feel really bad". Most of the time school tournaments are not even that important or are absent.
I grew up in a big city in Italy, so we had a little tournament within the school and then we chose not to participate in the city-wide tournament. In college, the school team had matches vs the other universities, but there was never a "national champions" goal. Some other smaller cities have county-wide tournaments, but non of them are really considered important for school life, more like an option. Because students who really like the sport already play in a team in the official federations, in the lower leagues or even in higher leagues (a good example is most of our female national team, which have many 18-20 year old players but they are playing in clubs since they were 16).
That's the main difference I think, in Usa, schools are considered like professional clubs, as in "if you want to play serious volleyball (sport) you have to go to a specific school". Everywhere else, you just have to enroll/tryout in a club of whatever level you want.
That said, I'm familiar with Usa college level, I was interested in players like Plummer, Bricio and the like before they become "pro". Your commitment to the sport is awesome, it's just really strange you get to play seriously as a school.
edit: oh I got to add one thing, maybe the reason you basically need parents to to some work for the team is about the way your cities are built. Like, my schools were always in a 2 miles radius from my home, uni was a little far but like 40 mins by bus. I reckon your distances and times are a bit wider
The 3rd day was a Saturday though. Just saying.
@@bdylp1098 Work culture in Japan is insane. Don't relate with western standards, like 9-5 jobs and free weekends. They usually wake up ad dawn, sleep through the train commute, stay in the office until dark, go out with the office gang for work related social activities, then come home and repeat. Look at anime guys, staying in school for like 12 hours, and parents are not back yet. They work on new year, christmas, all summer. Of course not everyone do this, but they basically have no concept of stop working
Are you guys siblings or couple?
Sorry, new follower here
