Just made this today. I had some lamb neck end in the freezer and defrosted it last night. Oh how delicious this recipe is. My son added more heat to his portion but the masala sauce was such a good texture and so flavoursome. I could eat it all over again right now. Enjoy breaking your fast this evening and enjoy Eid which is not far away. Good video, clear instructions, easily available ingredients.
Thank you for the recipe Shamsa, myself and my husband watched your recipe videos on your channel and our mouth was watering! We couldn't wait to cook the next day. Today we made your lamb karahi and it was DELICIOUS - literally restaurant standard. Thank you for sharing your recipes. We look forward to making more! Your recipes are very well demonstrated and explained.
Hi there I have just come across your channel this is probably the best recipe I’ve seen for lamb karahi I’m looking for a good recipe because just the other day I made one and it was horrible I don’t know how I burnt the onions and the lamb was tough lol 😂 new subscriber xxx
Hi Lavender, thank you for your comment. Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with cooking lamb karahi. Please do try this recipe as it's honestly such a simple dish to make and tastes AMAZING! I'd love to hear how you get when you get round to it 😊👍
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes I couldn't believe how great it turned out. I've never made lamb chops- the family loved it! I have been watching all your other videos and will be making them. Thanks for sharing such brilliant recipes!

I also want to tell you how I enjoyed your presentation, just the necessary explanations, not hourlong bla bla bla. Good luck with your kitchen, I must certainly will come back. Best regards Helen

I made this and it was fantastic usually when making curries as I have made a few before, you have to make a big pan of yellow base gravy, not with this recipe, me and my friend really enjoyed this, thank you and subscribed 😃
Hi iguanna41, thanks for your comment. The base gravy is typically more restaurant style created to keep up with a fast paced kitchen environment. Just helps speed the turnout of dishes that's all. So happy to hear you enjoyed the end product and thank you for subscribing! Lots more to come 😊

Thank you for your recipe. I'm planning to cook about 4kg of the chops for a party using your recipe. Do I just multiply all the ingredients by 4? Is there any advice you can give?
@Al Layth Yes just multiply x 4 and top tip be sure to use a large karai/pot as this will ensure you can stir the chops well whilst cooking, secondly use a silicone spatula when you come to cook the chops and lastly try to get the butcher to cut the chops roughly the same size as some thinner peices will cook quicker than the others! Hope that helps. Let me know how yours turned out! All the best 👍

Hi Amirah, thank you for your comment. Please don't be sorry to ask something you are not sure about! That's why I'm here.. happy to help!
Yes and no if I'm honest! thanks for sharing. Could I make this in a stove top pressure cooker ? If so , how long to cook after pressure has been reached? Thanks 😊
Yes, absolutely. Depends on how big or small your peices are. Anything between 15-25mins. Maybe longer if you use mutton.
Looking yummy.

Looks delicious. Thank you. Is there any reason we don't add cumin to this dish? Or did I miss it? Thanks.
My garam masala is really heavily cumin based so I don't normally add it separately.
Made this today and it was proper delicious :-)
Isn't it just a wonderful dish! 😊
Nice looking but why do you add the tomatoes at the end? As they not normally added at the end?. Still looks delicious 😋👍

Lovely recipe! What does the cinnamon and the cardamom give to the final taste? Or why add those two? Thank you
Thanks for your comment Mo, the cinnamon stick and cardamom pods add their unique flavour which penetrates into the masala, giving it a really nice, deep earthy flavour. These two whole spices compliment each other when added to any dish! Hope that helps! 😊👍
