I've seen other reviews here that were rather hard to watch because they were just praising the car but here, I could see someone actually criticize the car well. Good watch.
I agree.
Agree!
True that
His reviews are much detailed than autocar reviews
Autocar reviews, esp. Renu ka ji , are like kitty party talk.. sab theek hain
Moreover they are completely different as autocar picked 1 liter engine rather than 1.5 as in overdrive review.
@@ussvmehar7352 true, that lady will say everything accha hai for all cars
Renuka's reviews are more like extended brochure presentations. Full of generic descriptions and no detailed analysis
@@multistrada5645 True, Gavin is the best amongst all the reviewers @ autocar
I like the way he calls Creta as a crossover as it should be 😀
Station wagon
😄😄
Ghanta
😂😂😂😂😂
Kushaq is more like a venue than a creta 😂
Like the way you referred to Yeti and compared the rest with it. That car is like the Punto of SUVs that have gone on sale in India so far. So beautiful yet understated.
When all the channels upload reviews, overdrive is the place I come to first
I like the way you guys gave an honest review, while autocar india is bending over backwards for Skoda
Overdrive bends for hyundai
@@vijayendranvijay4538 haha
Renuka bowing to Skoda says it all! This was a far better review. Autocar was pathetic.
@@Anee988 exactly. The bowing down looked so bad
True and powerdrift review talks about nothing relevant for a consumer either
There you go again, man! Headlights are a greater than acknowledged aspect of Indian roads (avoiding accidents). You do a great job of presenting it. I absolutely appreciate it man.
Skoda is a love, which an enthusiast cannot pass by without appreciating it, even if it be a Fabia
Great review. It's refreshing to see someone who actually points out disadvantages/negatives of a car along with the advantages/positives. Well done ! 👍
Love the way, Rohit does the review unbiased. Also, he points all small niggles which other reviewers missed out. Kudos to Rohit and Overdrive. Really love your work.
Nice review as always 💞. Great camera work🌟
Best unbiased review so far. I feel the Skoda could have done much better but sadly they fell into the pricing war
See evo india … they show a lot more of the issues and the lovely driving dynamics. Though if you compare with autocar then yeah
What pricing war.....the car is as expensive as a creta & seltos....without their pricey features....
@@anchal06 Agreed Anchal, I wrote this before the prices were announced. They have a not so good product with a bad pricing.
@@RajaMudgal agreed...the car has failure written over it in bold
@@anchal06 yes failure with 6000 bookings in a month , have to say people showing preference to build quality over features
A very comprehensive review coverage with all point pros and cons discussed... Nice work.... Team overdrive.... 👍
You are the only reviewer who pointed out negatives. Subbed ✌
Said it like it is. To the point, matter of fact. Look forward to all your reviews Rohit. Cheers.
Fabulous review out of all 👏🏻 enjoyed 😍
Honest review. Much liked
I like your honesty and integrity, I appreciate it.
Brilliant review!
Really loved that he pointed out the real problems instead of just informing about the new car. Very rare with Indian reviewers.
sensible and detailed review ;)
What a great review especially pointing the negatives. Hats off sir.
That's a very honest review Rohit. The interiors are pretty ordinary for the price. Reminded me of my Fabia. Even the reverse camera as you mentioned is ordinary.
Worthfull review.. with clear clarification about total car details.. well done sir.👍. Have a great day
The most detailed and real review. Good callout on the instrumentation cluster. Looks super basic and does not gel in with the overall cabin design. Also the plastic quality looks just about Okay. Would have to experience it to know more though..
Very insightful review. While most of the other channels focussed on driving feel, dynamics etc. This one had more clarity w.r.t interior feature feel and insights. I feel much better informed after watching this review in comparison to the others.
I am a great fan of skoda. I had Fabia in 2008 and met with an accident with Qualis. That time I saw the buld quality. Nothing happened to me and my wife ,both air bags opened. Qualis radiator is damaged but no damage to my Fabia. Was waiting for Skoda suv lessthan 20lacs. Going to buy .
Average Serviece charges for skoda?
Very detailed and objective review, wonderful job Rohit!
Mixed feelings at the moment , didnt meet the expectations. Just waiting for Price list . Will then test drive it . Then need to decide whether to go for it or not.
Me too
Same
Same
What are the other options that you may consider?
go with kicks
Love his introductions…
Well done sir.. Loved your review.. Simply Clever I must say for the car as well as ur presentation 😀👍
Excellent Review Rohit!!!
The best review so far.
@7:59 the fast tags have RFID in them, rains won't affect it. Perhaps it's the positioning and a limitation of the RFID scanners at tolls.
I love the honest review. Every single video
The review is on the money!🙌👍
Very nice comprehensive review by OD as expected 👍
But Kushaq... Well... Mixed feelings..🙁 Let's see the price now ..🙄
About the Tag Holder @ 7:45 well the only good use for it is to put the society/colony gate pass in it rather than sticking it on the windshield which is simply clever 👌
Love your style of review sir 🙂
Great unbiased review!
Excellent … Good Job 👍
Best review of the lot!
Feeling a tad bit underwhelmed at the Kushaq first looks and drive feedback. Would expect the same level of interior quality from Skoda but a few compromises seem to be there. The pricing HAS to be aggressively right, else this is going to be a dud
@@arj1165 This car is a direct rival to the Creta and the Seltos.
@@arj1165 there is no harrier at that price with as many features
@@arj1165 will still take the kushaq because that build quality giving the passive safety wont be there in creta and forget seltos and no 6 airbags at that price in harrier
Comprehensive review that PD should learn
Great review
Fan of ur honest reviews.. ❤️
Very honest review. 👍
Good review! Clear verdict in fav of 1.5 TSI. I think it can't shake cretas market!
U got yourself a subscriber!
Very good review.
Does it have tilted glass which comes with skoda rapid?
I will definitely go for the 1.5 litre manual transmission option. A well designed vehicle from the VW group.
What is the fuel efficiency of 1.0 L Torque Converter in city?
Sir, one question. How much difference is okay between month we get from CIN number and CP8 date? I got allocated a car that has chasis number for April but CP8 date of October. Buying this in December so wondering why Chasis number is for April.
Planning to upgarde frm i20. Budget 15-18L. Family of 4. Mainly City driving. Occasionally highway drive. Wat wil b the Best choice??
Would love the option to choose engine, gearbox combo. Want to have 1.5 tsi with a torque converter.
PERFECT REVIEW....
Good analysis
Excellent review Overdrive. Variant of choice - 1.5 TSI Style - Manual.
1.5 DSG misses out on side and curtain airbags and Type pressure monitoring system, which the cheaper 1.5 MT gets. 🤔 Also, ambition 1.0 gets sunglass holder but top trims do not.
Master-stroke by Skoda India - give less features for the top trim!
Airbags and TPMS are misses. Guess sunglass holder got missed since sunroof had to be accommodated. While i know others have managed to accommodate both, this is the excuse the Sales Guy gave me.
Its added now
Nice one Rohit 👍
I am confused , which i should buy creta or kushaq ? I am looking for 1.5l engine and top model also. Please reply me which is good
Brilliant review. So much substance compared to other useless blah blah reviews. Great job!
Is the steering on 1.0 heavier and more connected than 1.5?
Hello,
Taigun 1.0 Topline manual vs GT 1.5 manual. Which is better in long run. For GT manual I have to compromise on some very good features but will get a bigger engine. Topline has all features, but concerned about smaller engine.
I am getting a good deal for both the vehicles from dealer. Onroad price of both cars is very close. Which is better? Pls suggest.
Thanks team for to the point comparision, this helped a lot. Just on question, when can we expect Monte Carlo edition with panoromic sunroof and digital cockpit and electric adjustable seats. Don't want to misss these features just by 2-3 months
Kushaq media review is nothing less than blockbuster movie. This is my 4th review watch since morning yet this is best detailed review, infact better than Renuka of Autocar. Leaving that aside I am upgrading from my 2011 jazz which feels very confident on steering feedback, space and limited body rolls. Was waiting for this car for almost an year. I do not like a very light steering like the cretas, yet this mentioned light steering. Would test drive before booking the 1.5 lt. interesting taigun would launch during that time too.. any suggestions? Would love to hear more from you about the kushaq, yet too much plastic is definitely a dampener.. kudos to the review though
S-cross
New Creta doesnt have very light steering like previous one and if you want more heft, Seltos has the most in koreans. I understand your feeling of Jazz as i own City with great steering but i found the new koreans to have more heft and consistency but less rich in feedback
To be mentioned, good content.
stellar review ..
I feel this car is perfect for a young family living in an urban settlement.
Daily city commute with an occasional weekend camping.
Apart from flaws, this baby has got some good features and looks. Hope they put the price genuine
The best Kushaq review 👍🏼👍🏼
Flexy engine is it
Ethanol blending will create major issues to EPFC System pl explain
What a review👍👍
Nice review! Precise & honest 👍🏼 somehow I felt other reviews bit of promotional but then here comes a neutral review of it
The only review that has so far highlighted the shortcomings unlike other videos where reviewers are acting like kids who got new toys by their parents. The only channel/team/reviewer who has done his/their- job well "reviewing" the car🤷♂️
Nice review
Calling the Kodiaq a crossover... I see you are a man of culture as well ! :)
Hi great review on the engines. The 1.5 is definitely the one to go for but the pricing seems to be high. If skoda wants to get volumes, they should have priced it lower.
Gold standard for automotive reviews from Rohit Paradkar 🎉
Love your work Rohit !! Big fan 🙏 expected a lot more from this car, titling towards the Seltos now
Hahaha. Same here man. I actually waited for this since forever but would rather buy the tested 1.5l D in the Seltos. 😪
Be careful the car might just tilt over
No waiting for Taigun ? It will come in August
@@Pacifistical 😂😂😂😂 are bhai bhai
Sir which you suggest between kushaq and creta
Would request you to also include the performance of the headlights as part of the review. It will definitely help a lot of people in their decision making process when comparing cars.
Dear Sir, Excellent overview. Keep It Up. My only concern with Skoda is the low ground clearance with respect to Indian road conditions. The same is with all Skoda vehicles in India.
You don't have an idea about skoda cars then. Rapid has a fantastic gc compared to any car in its territory
I loved it and booked one
Good review Rohit..
Independence brewery at his best 👌
Will the 1 litre engine have sunroof? If yes which variant it will be among active, ambition and style?
Style
Is the kushaq horn loud or soft ??
Rohit... you are the best auto reviewer there is!
which one is most reliable and practical at the same time safety as well ,,S cross zeta variant or kushaq 1.0 base variant ? Because both are in the same budget almost but s cross ( missing traction control and ESP) come with more features also it's 1 lakh cheaper than kushaq (where we miss auto ac , projector lamps & rear disk brakes)
I am thinking of upgrading from my i20. How is taigun going to be different from Kushaq ? Thinking of going with either of them and if they dont come as good as they seem, i will be going for ecosport
We have to wait for taigun pricing
Cars today are so predicatable. The minute i heard about kushaq, i already knew how it'll drive, the interior, ride quality, everything. And it's not just kushaq, it's the case of every other car in the market today.
Exactly. And with the premium made by Skoda on their cars, they're using inferior quality materials, compromising on the most of the important drivability and practicality factors in the shadow of cost cutting. This car is a big no
@@bhopaboi551 i concur
does anyone know the location of the shoot
Very detailed Review of Interiors .... Digital TFT Display , Air Purifier and Drive Modes would have taken Kushaq at Par 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice review … I prefer 1.5 Style DSG variant
When will the monti carlo virent of skoda kushaq come?????? I'm looking forward to. I hop jo cchoti moti kami abhi is mai hai woh monticarlo mai dheak kardi jaygi.
Looks- 👌👍
Built quality - 👍👌
Performance 1.5 Is much better 👍
Features- less featured at this price point
Price - yet to be decided
Few things are really bad and outdated like parking camera , Music system as well its just good.
First of all thanks for sharing tiniest of the details and observations. This paints a complete picture of what Kushaq has to offer. As for the vehicle, its built to price so there has been trimming of equipment and as long as the prices undercut Koreans by a good margin; I don't see a reason to complain. Hopefully they don't take the Octavia route an go bonkers on the pricing.
Thing is that, it will be charged at a Premium. The lacklustre Interior is underwhelming to say the least. Well I seriously didn't expect that.
13:35 are they now offering warranty on mechanical components as well? Coz the warranty gimmick of yesteryear dq200 was limited to electronics, so wear tear would usually cost you a bomb. Please clarify, thanks!
Reviewing after driving 250 kms
- Kushaq is nice to drive and will feel modern and robust.
- Overall driving dynamics, ride, steering controls and sharp turn handling is class-leading. Feels too safe and pleasure to drive.
- All important security features that we use and are mandatory for safe driving dynamics at 18 lac on-road makes it the best choice.
- Unique 2-spoke steering wheel (from Superb, Octavia)
- Kushaq though has 385ltr capacity can easily fit the same baggage as Creta/Seltos (claim 400+ ltrs.)
- Carbon Steel paint finish looks very nice, upmarket and premium. - 6-speaker audio system is surprisingly crisp and great sound with subwoofer.
Negatives:
- The steering feels a bit too light even at high speeds and could've weighed up better for more responsive feel though controlling it is precise.
- Rear disk break and Digital instrument cluster.
- No 6 air bags other than 1.0 MT - this is illogical.
- Yes, priced 50k to 70k on the higher side - but performance, safety features (even in base models) and the driving experience of both 1.0 and 1.5-litre TSI variants somewhat justifies the price.
I highly recommend Skoda Kushaq for those looking for premium small and powerful compact SUV for its clean design, driving dynamics, safety features and the Skoda brand and who cant afford T-Roc :)
Why safety almost never mentioned in the videos? VW group cars are the safest out there.
Because this channel is sponsored by Hyundai mainly. For them seltos, creta, venue and sonet are the only great cars, all others are crap in comparison 😁
Because these haven't been tested yet by global ncap. When these media outlets give safety opinions and stuff they need to be exact and accurate and not just go by assumption.
