With Kushaq one can attain a mileage of 22 with easy driving at low rpm and avoiding unnecessary accelerations, but it can also go down to as low as 8 if you drive it as an enthusiast on higher rpm.
Your observations are really good. I got Ambition Classic variant and am quite satisfied with what I got in that price package. Driving pleasure and comfort is unmatchable. In fact my initial choice was an automatic but as it was not available throughout the Oct month, the dealership gave me a test drive session of half a day of the manual version so that I can choose and finalise.

Very informative video and your analysis on the purchase … you’ve taken a great decision 👍🏼 just ignore the negative comments from ppl who don't know what is safety, comfort and premiumness... Just let them focus on mileage, maintenance, spares cost and resale value... That's not the target customer segment of VW/ Skoda anyway 😂
Just planning to go for the Kushaq... but heard for some EPC issue after that the vehicle is not starting & another one is Rattling noise ... can you confirm whether you are facing the same ?
EPC issue was there when Kushaq was newly launched. Now you won't face EPC issue. I have never faced noise or EPC issue in my Kushaq yet. Its been an year now since I bought it.
Thanks for this detailed video talking through your thought process that went into buying this car. I have few questions for you, which would really help me in deciding a car. Eagerly waiting for your response. I have heard lots of negative reviews about Skoda's after-sales service. Did you come across this or was "after sales" a deciding factor for you at all? People say lots of bad things about their experience during regular maintenance/service with their dealership. Also one more question. Since you have had some time to experience your Kushaq first-hand, do you think its a long lasting car? As in, does it "feel" like it can last for more than a decade? I really don't like lots of proprietary software and expensive computers/ECU tech in car (unfortunately modern cars are full of ECUs), I prefer old-school tactile analog features that can be easily repaired/swapped locally or by myself if I'm so inclined, and also not a fan of replacing cars frequently, so it has to last for a really long time (even if there comes a time when Skoda exits India, but hopefully not)
Hello, great video . I drove Skoda Slavia today and Kushaq test drive is gonna be tomorrow . I want to buy Petrol Automatic Feature loaded car. Plz share yr actual experience as you have driven for a few months. Those creaking noises or a y feature u miss . Reverse Camera qualirtis not good ...waiting
Till now, the experience is very good. I got this in October end, so its not even 4 months of driving/ownership. No noises from cabin yet. Will see if that remains the same in future. Rear camera quality is not bad(good enough) if not the best - not a deal breaker. I don't miss any feature but do test two things in test drive. 1. AC efficiency when car is stand still like it is in traffic jam/red light. 2. If ventilated seats are powerful enough for you. Only I drive this car so don't miss powered driving seat. Otherwise it would have been a plus point. Best of luck 👍🏻
No bro. Although sometimes you may hear some noise if you keep water bottle in the door bottle holder. The water bottle rubs with the door plastic and you hear some creaking noise
Well I am looking for automatic in bumper to bumper traffic in Bengaluru… how much is Kushaq still relevant against hybrid of Toyota and diesel of Kia .. Mileage and after sale device cost ..pls highlight
Mileage is good for a turbo engine. The engine which gives more power will obviously consume more fuel. With normal driving, I get 25 on highway and around 12-14 in city. If you will drive car in higher rpm or if you accelerate-brake much mileage is bound to decrease to as low as 8 in Kushaq. As this is my personal experience with Kushaq, I will update about service with time. Though, we get free maintainance package for 4 years and extended warranty options Lastly if you travel more in bumper traffic, do not buy Kushaq. Go for Strong Hybrid Vehicles like Toyota Hyryder
That was for Mr. Umesh. If someone's mostly drive is in bumper to bumper traffic and he/she wants to chose b/w Kushaq and a strong hybrid car- strong hybrid car (like Toyota Hyryder) will make more sense
Most appreciated, very good and practical explanation. I m one of the victims of buying Toyota Hyryder. Suffering a lot. Took it last year Feb. Now trying to sell it and buying Kushaq. Thnx.
Suffering how? I'm also planning Hyryder. What issues do you face? I heard it's very reliable, great ASS with excellent mileage. Build is average though.
About to finalize, with the same story, concerned about three adult person seating comfort for both kushaq and taigun. Your view please. your view on VW Taigun 1.5 TSI if reviewed.
3 adults at back can be difficult for long route. 3 can adjust for short trips. 1.5 is good, has more power and is more refined (bcs of 4 cylinders) but costly. No point in spending more on 1.5 unless you need excess power
what about Rear seat space ? what about Interior build quality ? what about small boot space ? what about after-sales ? what about service cost ? parts is not available easily minimum service centers 5 star hai but only in 64 kph speed (crash testing )... 120kph p 5 star kam nahi ayega ...
Agree, but as I have mentioned in this and next video every car has negative and positive points. One car good for one may not be for other and vice-verca. I just mentioned why it was good for me. I have mentioned about service center in the next video. 5 star rating is for 64kph, yes, but all ratings are for this speed only. No one gives rating for 120kph. 5 star only means safer than lower stars. I have mentioned about the rear seat in the next video
Hi Bro, thanks for your information and it was much useful. My question - You mentioned the presence of ambient lighting. Is there an option to customize and select different colours, or does it come with a default setting?
@Undefined Can you tell us about the mileage in the city n highway as well. Also tell me about it's suspension compared to Creta coz when I had test drive I felt it to be bit hard/stiff for Kushaq n creta was soft as compared. (Car was not run for not more than 10k km & I drove it for 7-8km)
Mileage has very much variations. It depends how you drive this turbo engine I am light foot drive, so most of the time I drive with light foot. With light driving I get 13-15 in city and 18-19 on highway. When I drive to extract fun from this, you will get as low as 6-8 as well. For me, its suspension is well balanced when tyres pressure are within limits
Sir i am planning to buy my first car and i have two options (BH no.) 1. Verna NA SX manual 2024 in 13 lac 2. Verna turbo SX manual 2023 in 13 lac (one year old manufacturing and still in stock at showroom) Which one should i choose?
I am really curious to know how to get Kushaq Style 1.0 TSI MT with Sun-roof model at 17.5 Lakhs? On road price in chennai is 19.11L, in Bangalore is 19.43L.
When did you book the car? Sorry to ask how did you get 10 inch screen in Kushaq. They started giving 10 inch screen again or this is anniversary edition ? I am really interested in 1.5 TSI AT.
Booked in Oct start. This is 1.0 Style Manual. Don't know, even sales person was surprised to see 10inch with digital cockpit and subwoofer when the car arrived
Bhai.... This is called a perfect review.... With comparison with other cars... And do believe me... Am contended with your video... Am about to buy Kushaq... Bro ... These are the real videos ... Keep it up... Keep posting more such similar videos... ❤ God bless you!
I had driven kushaq AT top model in test drive. The response of steering wheel was accurate exactly like controlling a bike handle. The car suspension is smooth. Best handling.
Very well explained... hyryder or grand vitara mild hybrid is value for money only for base model... For Any price greater that 14 lakhs is not worth considering hyryder or grand vitara because of low engine performance, 5 speed manual gear box and average build quality
Hi Dear, Loved your video which gave thorough information… Would you like to comment on Nexon VS Kushaq as well? I saw one video which showed Nexon as slightly better than Kushaq.
Suspension is stiff only compared to others but there's a reason for that, it works very well on highways, in cities you may not find that much effective.
With Kushaq one can attain a mileage of 22 with easy driving at low rpm and avoiding unnecessary accelerations, but it can also go down to as low as 8 if you drive it as an enthusiast on higher rpm. On a general note and general driving one may get more mileage in Hyryder mild hybrid. But one will definitely get better mileage in Strong Hybrid Hyryder
Well judged! very good decision. I bought a Skoda Kushaq recently too and it gives me a great driving experience along with a good (more than decent) mileage.
Its very simple, why book anything if we have not seen it, touched it ourself and no price revealed? We ruining habbit of companies by booking blindly by just seeing photo/video
My story Gaya tha creta lene ...book ki elevate...pata nahi kya hua bas skoda gaya aur kushaq se pyar ho gaya...sab cancel kar ke book kari kushaq aur elevate cancel kar di.. Koi bol raha hai chhoti hai koi keh raha resale nahi koi keh raha parts mehge hain to koi keh raha ac kamzor hai..par kya karu aayegi to skoda hi😊
No. It was in limited stock. When I went for booking this was in transit. Even showroom dealer didn't knew that it has both 10' sceen, digital cockpit and subwoofer. We only came to know when the car reached dealer. The dealer was himself surprised to see that
That’s great, you got really great deal. I wnated the same but dealer told company doesn’t have digital cockpit and 10” screen with subwoofer both, you can have either of two. Happy for you to have it🎉🎉
@@ParthPatolia i got to know it from some sources that Skoda is doing random production.. some ppl getting the 8inch Info. And subwoofer.. and some are getting non of them . And Some are getting Either one of them.. you have to ask your dealership to arrange the car which has all . Otherwise, it's just probability.. (this is what i got to know from one of my sources)
Light foot drive low rpm pe 13-15 ka average deti hai city mein. Highway pe low rpm pe 18 se upar de deti hai... Waise 5-8 ka bhi degi city mein agar bhaga bhaga ke chalaya jaye
@undefined.shikher sir I was looking for the customers who actually paid the service cost, your scenario is different, you will come to know abt this after service packg expires
You are getting all must have features with 5 star safety in Kushaq ..Kushaq means king in Sanskrit and it proves the word ..Amazing Driving Pleasure and pure class ..Though getting quite less mileage in city but Safty and Brand Matters ..Recently bought Škoda Kushaq 1.0MT Style and very happy with the decision 😊
I also Recently Bought the 1.0 MT Variant and the Driving Quality is Leaps and Bounds ahead of every other car Now they Launched 1.5 in Mid Variant also Wish they had done that Earlier would have bought that
My biggest concern is that, skoda showroom is not in my hometown and the nearest skoda showroom is about 350km away.So can i still buy it,incase in future if my car get breakdown.
With Kushaq one can attain a mileage of 22 with easy driving at low rpm and avoiding unnecessary accelerations, but it can also go down to as low as 8 if you drive it as an enthusiast on higher rpm.
No rattling noise for me till now. I won't comment on AC until summer comes. It may be not as powerful as others but should not be a deal breaker. With Kushaq one can attain a mileage of 22 with easy driving at low rpm and avoiding unnecessary accelerations, but it can also go down to as low as 8 if you drive it as an enthusiast on higher rpm.
Did u observe the hump that appears due to sunroof for the backseat is not good if any tall person sitting with a height of 5.7 above. In case of sudden breaking it would be impacting the head. When 3 people sits behind the problem will be very more . As the upright posture due to less space increases the issue further. I had checked the taigun and kushaq both and both have the similar issue. Even sales person of skoda recognised this issue. My personal reason for not going for kushaq was this as primarily 5 or 6 people would be traveling and less space become a major issue.
Its ground clearance is lower than Hyryder but not bad. Many cars on Indian roads have lower ground clearance than 188. Its ground clearance is lower. I have shared my 2 months experience with Kushaq in my next video which I will post in 2-3 days

It depends how you drive this turbo engine
I am light foot drive, so most of the time I drive with light foot. With light driving I get 13-15 in city and 18-19 on highway.
When I drive to extract fun from this, you will get as low as 6-8 as well.
For me, its suspension is well balanced when tyres pressure are within limits
Sir i am planning to buy my first car and i have two options (BH no.)
1. Verna NA SX manual 2024 in 13 lac
2. Verna turbo SX manual 2023 in 13 lac (one year old manufacturing and still in stock at showroom)
Which one should i choose?
Verna NA SX manual
Had you check taigun model for same price?
If yes what was your finding?
Equally good, slightly more price. I liked Skoda look more
What is the mileage?
I am really curious to know how to get Kushaq Style 1.0 TSI MT with Sun-roof model at 17.5 Lakhs?
On road price in chennai is 19.11L, in Bangalore is 19.43L.
Now the prices might have gone up, I had bought in October 22
Awesome. Thank you.
Hi, when you bought this ? I'm looking for the same style variant but getting 8"infotainment system instead of 10".
I bought it in October. 8" is not bad. If you want 10", you need to tell the showroom to allot you that
@@undefined.shikhercan you play youtube in that infotainment?
When did you book the car? Sorry to ask how did you get 10 inch screen in Kushaq. They started giving 10 inch screen again or this is anniversary edition ? I am really interested in 1.5 TSI AT.
Booked in Oct start. This is 1.0 Style Manual.
Don't know, even sales person was surprised to see 10inch with digital cockpit and subwoofer when the car arrived
@@undefined.shikher Thats really surprising to see Sales person is surprised .. lol. Anyways thanks man. i will check in the Showroom
They have started giving 10" in top models only.
10 inch screen coms for ambition V variant. With 30k extra
Please share how is the experience now after these many months
Sure, will soon make a video about it.
What about service cost?
Very soon we will upload the video about this. Skoda provides SMP(Maintaince Package). For me, it was free of cost for 4 years.
Bhai.... This is called a perfect review.... With comparison with other cars... And do believe me... Am contended with your video... Am about to buy Kushaq... Bro ... These are the real videos ... Keep it up... Keep posting more such similar videos... ❤ God bless you!
Bro how is ac performance?
Just fine. Definately a bit lower than others. But does the job
should i go for skoda kushaq in 2023 december??
I had driven kushaq AT top model in test drive. The response of steering wheel was accurate exactly like controlling a bike handle. The car suspension is smooth. Best handling.
What is tyre profile you got with this car ?
205/55 R17
Very well explained... hyryder or grand vitara mild hybrid is value for money only for base model... For Any price greater that 14 lakhs is not worth considering hyryder or grand vitara because of low engine performance, 5 speed manual gear box and average build quality
Thank you. Yes, true
BASE MODEL leke 1.5 lakh ka extra fitting karo ( Infotainment, Better Audio, 360 degree Camera & Alloy Wheel )... Awesome 👌..
Wonderful analysis !!!
Hi Dear, Loved your video which gave thorough information…
Would you like to comment on Nexon VS Kushaq as well?
I saw one video which showed Nexon as slightly better than Kushaq.
What about MG ASTOR!?
Had you considered it?
Yes. It can be a good choice, but it was never in my list, just because of personal preference.
Astor chutia gadi hai test drive lia chalake dekha to bhag gaya main waha se 😂
Hi,
How is the Kushaq suspension??
Is it stiff suspension??
Suspension is stiff only compared to others but there's a reason for that, it works very well on highways, in cities you may not find that much effective.
Enjoyed his video👏👏
Aap mujhe ye btaiyega kripya Qushak front wheel drive hai ya rear wheels drive hai. Ye jankari mere liye bahut jyada jaruri hai
Front Wheel Drive
How did u get this price for style Mt...in 17.5 ..online shows 19 L...did u get discount?
Yes,
Your thoughts are just like me bro, good choice.
What about milage in city driving
Why you didnt go for Automatic? Any issues in it?
No issues, style AT was outside my budget.
Sir Milage compare between Kushaq and Hyryder ?
With Kushaq one can attain a mileage of 22 with easy driving at low rpm and avoiding unnecessary accelerations, but it can also go down to as low as 8 if you drive it as an enthusiast on higher rpm.
On a general note and general driving one may get more mileage in Hyryder mild hybrid. But one will definitely get better mileage in Strong Hybrid Hyryder
Well judged! very good decision. I bought a Skoda Kushaq recently too and it gives me a great driving experience along with a good (more than decent) mileage.
How much?
Bhai yeh to bta do variant kon sa hai yeh wala ??
1.0 Style MT
Very well orated vlog.!!
Very honest review
I have also buy kushaq 1.0 style varient .....❤ Just because of safety
thanks for sharing brother.
Its very simple, why book anything if we have not seen it, touched it ourself and no price revealed? We ruining habbit of companies by booking blindly by just seeing photo/video
The only reason was long waiting period. My plan was to book and cancel if not good
My story
Gaya tha creta lene ...book ki elevate...pata nahi kya hua bas skoda gaya aur kushaq se pyar ho gaya...sab cancel kar ke book kari kushaq aur elevate cancel kar di..
Koi bol raha hai chhoti hai koi keh raha resale nahi koi keh raha parts mehge hain to koi keh raha ac kamzor hai..par kya karu aayegi to skoda hi😊
Bhai, average Kiya de Rahi hai apki 1L kushaq
Jaldi hi actual real world mileage ka video aayega...
Which variant you have ? Since with new digital cockpit they have replaced it with 10” display to 8”. But yours have both
Its Style Manual NV model
@@undefined.shikher NV? you mean anniversary model?
Bhai tumhara explain karne ka tarika bahut badiya hai with deep voice....lagta hai coaching mein teacher ho
Nice 👍🏻 Mileage Kitna de rahi hai petrol me
Light foot drive low rpm pe 13-15 ka average deti hai city mein.
Highway pe low rpm pe 18 se upar de deti hai...
Waise 5-8 ka bhi degi city mein agar bhaga bhaga ke chalaya jaye
Anybody plz tell me about service cost
Zero expenses for essentials for the first 5 years-I got a free extended warranty and service for 5 years.
@undefined.shikher sir I was looking for the customers who actually paid the service cost, your scenario is different, you will come to know abt this after service packg expires
Bhai kushak me narmal petrol nahi dalta hai kya
Brother Engine cover aapke car me h ?
Becuz mene jo car ka review ( 2022 model ) dekha tha usme engine cover company fitted nhi tha .
Nhi...engine cover nhi hai.
I am planning to share to my ownership experience soon. Will cover all these points
when talking about safety there is also Nexon in this class. why was that not considered?
Yes, I have mentioned the same in my next video which will I will post in 2-3 days
I also Recently Bought the 1.0 MT Variant and the Driving Quality is Leaps and Bounds ahead of every other car
Now they Launched 1.5 in Mid Variant also Wish they had done that Earlier would have bought that
what mileage are you getting from this vehicle in city ?
What's the mileage in city? Pls let me know as I am browsing options
@@manavs22 Mine is 1L MT ..I am getting 11-12 in City and @ 17 on highway
How this car in bumper to bumper traffic?
Sorry, didn't get your question. What do you mean?
Go for a good automatic car in this case
My biggest concern is that, skoda showroom is not in my hometown and the nearest skoda showroom is about 350km away.So can i still buy it,incase in future if my car get breakdown.
Don't buy a car if it's certified service centre is far from your home.
@@undefined.shikher exactly…
I will erase of kushaq dream from my mind now onwards..thanks for the clarification
Can you let me know regarding highway stability / power of both cars ?
Very soon I am going to publish video about it
Mene kal hi chahiye 1.0 L
1) Power kaam h
2) Back space mein do hi log Beth sakte h
3) Parts ki availablity ki problem
4) Touch screen purani lagte h
How is it in bumper to bumper traffic
All have same story about kushaq ,visit randomly and end up buying it
Elevate choose krni thi
Uss samay Elevate aaya nhi tha
Sir apki kushaq kon si variant hai??
Style Manual
Bhai aapne jankari achha diya hai dhanyawad
What is the mileage you get?
With Kushaq one can attain a mileage of 22 with easy driving at low rpm and avoiding unnecessary accelerations, but it can also go down to as low as 8 if you drive it as an enthusiast on higher rpm.
How about rattling, low capacity AC and poor fuel efficiency?
No rattling noise for me till now. I won't comment on AC until summer comes. It may be not as powerful as others but should not be a deal breaker.
With Kushaq one can attain a mileage of 22 with easy driving at low rpm and avoiding unnecessary accelerations, but it can also go down to as low as 8 if you drive it as an enthusiast on higher rpm.
Is it 2022 manufactured? When did you bought it?
Is 2022 manufactured. I took delivery 1 week ago
True. I don't recommend Kushaq or Taigun for 5 adults.
Same story like u..maine bhi 12 cars ka test drive liya hai..but now still confusion in kushaq milaega ac trip n rattling noise
What about Low Ground Clearance of 188 in Kushaq/Taigun vs 210 in Hyryder .. Also AC issues in Kushaq/Taigun 1.0 Turbo engine
Its ground clearance is lower than Hyryder but not bad. Many cars on Indian roads have lower ground clearance than 188. Its ground clearance is lower.
I have shared my 2 months experience with Kushaq in my next video which I will post in 2-3 days
