- Skoda kushaq problems is what we are going to discuss today and since it's launch Skoda has suffered a lot of complaints and this has not changed much today but is it true that it comes with a lot of problems and these problems are major ones and it could hinder the ownership experience if you are planning to purchase this car?
I drive the Skoda kushaq 1.0 l TSI manual transmission also the all new 1.5 litre TSI dsg gearbox to tell you all about the car this includes the drive performance overall handling balance and the ride quality in rough terrains.
Volkswagen taigun is the other option that you have and this car also is built on the same platform so in terms of safety this car performs really well like other Skoda and Volkswagen cars and in terms of minor accidents Kushaq will keep you safe.
Skoda kushaq is finally here and this is one of the most anticipated cars from the Volkswagen group with the new platform specification for India a lot of things can change for Volkswagen and Skoda in India.
Skoda and Volkswagen have work really hard to reduce the cost of this spare parts that was a major concern for all the previous customers from Skoda and Volkswagen.
Since Skoda Kushaq is specifically made for India a lot of things are robust and designed to handle the rough trains in our country this includes it design which is not very wide to cut through traffic is also make set much easier to handle the car and traffic also the Skoda kusha stands for king in Sanskrit that says a lot about how important the Indian market is for Skoda Kushaq.

hard to find such brutal honesty in car reviews these days. great job dude
Thank you sir, your kind words and support means a lot 😊👍
I am Skoda owner for the past 17 years from Fabia MT (drove 15 years) to Octavia DSG (in its 9th year) and now Kushaq DSG never face any issue with engine gearbox transmission reliability safety and build quality.
Kushaq has cons like any other car but when you drive this beauty you will forget everything. The best driving dynamics in the segment. 5 months completed. Problems faced 0/0.
That would be taigun
Same here.. no issues.. people senselessly talking about AC issues. But I personally found it's AC far better than my previously owned Hyundai and Suzuki cars
@@Examdialogues bro i had ac issue..the cooling was very bad because of tripping. I informed them and they did a free updation which rectified the problem..now it is working good
@@Examdialogues Correct. I find the AC cooling too good enough. Better than many others.
I am a Skoda Kushaq owner for the past 3 months and can honestly say I got a great car . I’m not a light footed driver so I get very low fuel economy but I’m ok with it . I think this car has a timeless design and will age very well with time .
Which engine do you own? 1.0l or 1.5l ?
@@AmarSingh-re6gq 1.0 Style AT
@@mustanggt5713 Are you facing any of the reported AC cooling issues?
@@manishdhamankar8198 Compared to the Hyundai Grand i10 I had earlier, the AC in my Kushaq is not as powerful but is not bad at all . I wouldn’t call it a problem at all . It takes longer to cool the cabin and I’m ok with it .
Can you suggest me 1.5 automatic is good to buy ?
I was actually very interested in this video, but you lost me when you brought Seltos again, and again and again………….
Yes. Looks like promoting seltos
I have 1.0 Ltr Automatic and I am impressed with the driving experience and braking is too good and steering feedback is very satisfying and smooth. Only missing feature I found is auto ORVM is not there in the top model and goggle holder is not there which are required very often. The stuff on the roof is not sturdy it sinks when you press it.
Very honest, real-world opinions.
Will help a viewer decide about a car knowing all issues it has.
The only irritant in this video is the head-mounted camera which moves around too quickly for comfortable viewing.
Great feed back I m planning to buy one and your video has been very helpful to what to expect. Keep up the good job buddy’s
Am an Ambition MT owner last one month and this review really matching my feelings. Thank you for a sincere review👍
The feeling of 1.5 gets too low that you feel that it would cutoff is because the technology shuts down 2 cylinders automatically to improve efficiency
I got Kushaq ambition 1.0 mt variant today. I am facing vibration issue on the arm rest and steering as well. Did any one face this issue ?
Thanks bro. Very well explained. 🙏
4.3
Offenly I drive long distance, recently traveled by Kushaq 1.0 MT from ooty to Bellampally approx 1100km, The performance is excellent, road handling between speed 100 to 120 Km is excellent , Traction control working fine also provide audio and visual indicators on bad road. In my opinion is excellent compact SUV for highway and city as well..
regarding bootspace , practically it will accommodate more stuff then creta
Nicely you explained, but is there any problem arising in half way driving or suddenly engine breakdown while driving, becoz i booked Skoda classic variant.please suggest.
Good point raise. Though I am a Škoda lover. Owned Laura on 2013. But your perception is clear
What was brutally honest review kudos 👏
Instead of the owner driving for 3 to 4 years and then finding his/her car is no good like suspension, ratting sounds, squeaky sounds etc, better to disclose it upfront at a holistic level and save valuable hard earned money for Indians.
You are doing a great job.
Go ahead and RIP them

Your opinion is respected bro as it is yours.. does not matter. Negative points were repeated and were personal not generic. Ex: I see kushaq as mini suv in some angles but again that does not change the fact . I have fiesta ZXI petrol, and still feel the build quality is way more than cars nowadays. But as I am planning to buy a new car I can’t help but buy. It’s same with food, craft and every other things, quality declines.
As you mentioned about resale value.
I am using VW polo since 11years,
As we expect 10% depreciation per year now it costs Nothing now and even I didn't expect now even if gone to scrap i won't mind, but over these 11 yrs this car given immense driving pleasure which is worthless.
It's my view but i don't buy car for resale value i buy it for my good driving experience.
Detailed explanation in very easy language..!! good luck with your channel.
This is a super open heart review Thankyou 👍
Thank you so much for your kind words ...stay blessed 🙏
Bang on review!
Feel exactly the same on all aspects.
I am owning the car last yr and this is most honest review
Great bro.. i was planning for skoda khushaq but ya would switch my thoughts .. thanks great job
What are your other options?
Would suggest you to still keep this car as an option.
It is good
Great and honest review.. also well placed commentary
Really an honest and detailed video. 👍👍
i was almost ready to buy kushaq but your video made me a bit confused now. 😇😇
Impressive review, very honestly covered almost every aspect of this car. I own Skoda Kushaq and I can resonate with everything you mentioned. Very keen observation and genuine feedback.!! Respect for your opinion as well. :) Thumbs up to you bro, keep it up!
Thank you so much sir
Always respect your views
few let downs in kushaq were 1) Window noise while moving it up down, makes it feel like 90s car, 2) no skoda horn 3) cabin noise, from doors and dashboard
U r doing really good.
Good and impartial review.
I respect your opinion and an outstanding video mate 👌.
Straight forward review which I totally liked.
Would love to hear your 2 cents on Grand Vitara as well as compared to its competitors like creta, seltos etc.
Thank you sir 😊 Il post it soon
I too
I am driving Kushaq for the last two months. I don't think any other car can compete. Has great fuel economy, got 21 km without ac on a 4 and 2 lane tolled highway in Bihar. Can't complain!
which variant is it?
Sir, you got a 21 at what average speed?
Average speedo told me was 48
Active peace. Only 600 produced, at 9.99 ex showroom
@@mukulsinha5384 😊
I was thinking of same 1.0MT
But I think I need to reconsider my decision
What will be options for it.
One more thing u will get many more subscribers and likes as long as u r honest in your work.
The one you are driving / mentioned here is 1L or 1.5L ???
Hi,
It doesn't have all 4 disc breaks.
Sir please suggest slavia or breeza no problem in sedan or suv
Nice and honest review 👍
Hi good video, pls make similar video on hyryder n compare with Kushaq
Please let me know the priority points to be considered before purchasing a car for a middle class person/purchaser in personal usage ( 80% City and 20% off roading on an average ) with approximate average of 7000 kms per year
Good Review. Please review VW Virtus as well.
No major problem with my beautiful kushaq . I love to drive this car .
Nice analysis
Agree with almost every post good and bad. Except design. Design is what it scores over its competitors.
Wanted to know you drove the manual or the automatic version
How much mileage you have got?
Which one is better Jeep compass 2.0 limited or kushaq
As a skoda owner, looking forward whether Zac Hollis will leave India 🇮🇳🇮🇳???
Very Good review However, all brakes are not disc brakes. Rear brakes are drum brakes.
One more mistake, around 4.49 minute, he said it's 3 cylinder but the car he talking about 1.5 litre engine comes with 4 cylinder, only 1 litre comes with 3 cylinder
That was a mistake from my end and messed up while I was speaking about both the engines...Apologies
Vento, Polo, Vento, Polo..Would do better if references were made to current cars in the market
I am using since 28 aug 2021. My car is automati mid variant I didn't face stopping problem so far. So far so good.
.
Bhai! I stumbled upon this video and I’m lucky I’m here. I have a booked Kushaq lately - what are your thoughts on EPC issue and cabin rattling thing?
Kushaq is a wonderful car and you will have an amazing time with it. Congratulations 🥳
As a first time buyer, I watched multiple reviews from ex VW buyers and all of them have complained about the drop in quality in Kushaq and Taigun.
Been said that, as a new buyer who doesn't have any base reference, 7-9 months waiting in Kia and Hyundai is a big No No for most of us. Also some Hyundai showrooms are running a scam of pushing customers to buy 1-1.5 lakhs of accessories to reduce the waiting period. In my case they even refused to give the test drive. Why will a customer buy a car in the Rs 15-20 lakh segment without a test drive. I found Maruti's positioning much better with 2-3 months of wait but with much better showroom experience.
@auto critic sir, aap is video me kia kia kar rahe hai, kya me kia seltos diesel base le lu 6 airbags ate hai.
Sir me kia ke baare is liye bol rha tha kyun ki Kushaq me main competitor Kia seltos hai..but safety ko leke mein kisi ko bhi kia seltos recommend nahin krunga
Pratically Boot space is best in this segment
Excellent review
Thank you so much 🙏
FYI..MQB A0 IN products are 40% more stiffer than older products like rapid polo etc said by zac hollis itself.
People here in general are happy with the bells and whistles. Even if the rest of the essentials are non existent! Skoda anytime over the Korean cousins.
Awesome Car .. looks are subjective and what is the your definition of timeless design.. keep aside the negatives , flawless car and half baked info like parts are linked while replacing them and it will take blah blah.. ..just go for it ..I'm loving every bit of my beast ...
Glad you are loving it ..wishing you great memories with your car ..drive safe 👍
@@autocritic thank you dost
Why are there AC tripping issues ? Has it been resolved now ?
No
I think so I recently bought kushaq no tripping issue it's been 1600+ kms clocked. I don't face any issues so far
Let me tell you brother I am using Skoda for the last 5 yrs and have never faced any issues either with reliability or service. The folks are good if you treat them with respect. Normally a customer walks in with lots of anger and in such cases they would behave otherwise. As far as safety is concerned this car has been rated for child and adult safety at 5 no other car in that segment has got that rating. As far as timeless design is concerned it is still a very good design when compared to other brands that just give u cosmetic looks and then you find that the tail lights don’t work after a certain time. I would urge anyone interested in European cars to go for it. As far as safety is concerned companies now have shed some weight yet maintained the integrity of the car. One can’t say it is not of the same build quality as the ones earlier. These are my views and I have owned mutilple cars and by far Skoda is the best car I have owned and value for money in my opinion.
Sir apke hisab se kya skoda kushaq long term use krne ke liye thik rahega?
Meri wagon r ka width 1620mm hai fir bhi normal health wale 3 adult rear seat mei baith jate hai kushaq ka width to 1760mm hai
Bang on the points . One correction any of the variants doesn't come with all wheel disc brakes. Only front wheel disc brakes.
Thank you sir for your support 🙏 Apologies for the mistake I already mentioned this in the previous comment ...stay safe 😊
Why so-called-reviewers starts comparing VW Brand cars with their old models.
I guess in current scenario, the best analytics would be to compare these models with other brand's models offered in this same price range.. No one can go back in the past to get the previously available quality products (atleast new ones)
People are confused as to which is better product in current time - Like Creta/Seltos/Astor/Kushaq/Taigun/ (or upcoming ones) Hyryder/Vitara (Compare only Petrol if Kushaq and Taigun is in the list as they are offered in Petrol only).
A typical family user doesn't quantify stuffs so minutely, all they want is
Hassle free life
Smooth ride
Good Family Comfort
Safety
Mileage (This is something that vary from person to person)
Interior Quality is something you can't quantify .. all that a typical under can differentiate is the FIT and FINISH .. so focus on that
Looks (Matters to family esp kids)
Minor initial lags are rather good as no one want that initial power in a bumper to bumper traffic leading to mishappenings. A typical family user won't think of him/her self as michael schumacher. PERIOD !
Thank you for sharing your views 😊👍
Safety me Kia stand nai karti iske saamne. Mere pass dono cars hain. And about service Mai bata dun ghar se leke jaate hai aur wo laake dete hain
I like to hear the bitter truth, thanks 🙏
So the global NCAP gave it 5 out of 5..
You were saying something about the built quality??????
Outstanding review ever I have seen..Bhayya aap xuv 300 kaa long review banaiye na please.
Ok sure
Nice video bro
Thank you 😊
If kushaq is not a practical can then which is a car (practical car) you prefer in india under 15lakh?
CRETA
Apke hisab se long term car rakhne k liye kushaq sahi rehega ya slavia
Sahi m Kushaq m all disc breaks hai... Pr manual m only front m hi disc and rear drum break hai
Good job 👍🏾 nice car I am using no any problems no ac issue average 22 on highway Appreciate your feedback
Thank you sir for your kind words and sharing your experience
Can you please review the virtus bro..
Would be great if you adjust your camera angel while driving
Bro, what engine issues are observed? Give evidence
Engine off point is true … 👍🏻
nice bhai
I wish to know what important things to be considered first in a car with personal & family usages
Obviously a mid sized compact SUV
It’s front two wheel disc and rear drum brakes.
i have a kushaq style 1.0
in city 12-13 kmpl
on highway 17-18 (rough driving)
21-23 kmpl light feet driving
1.5 engines may not give this much
Thank you for sharing sir
Perfect, am having it too
Planning to buy the 1.0 top end variant. What do you think of it? I’m comparing it to Astor.
@@tejasthegame Go for kushaq you will not be disappointed
Good
Great Review Boss. Very honest, Non Biased & straight from the heart sharing. Kudos. Agree with you they have compromised on Build Quality so Reliability will always be doubted.
You are spot on you to be safe you have to invest in full extended warranty because of apart from Spares their Services or Labour cost is also high when compared to competition.
Everybody employs Indians in their Workshops yet they charge you 1.5Xor 2X times or maybe Euros equivalent which I am yet not been able to digest.
Service Stns are just interested in Milking Customers because of Big Global brand.
There is always a fear of investing in European Cars. If by chance due to bad luck you get a faulty piece you had it. Yet find someone who is one more than Satisfied with Ownership Experiences.
Thank you for your support brother 🙏
Not sure I agree with the comment here. I have a hyundai verna and my partner owns a Vento both diesil, my personal observation is that, Verna has smoother engine but very expensive on service, 2 times in a years+ something has to be changes every years. Overall Vento has lesser service cost to my Verna. Yeah I just bought Kushaq style, wanted to upgrade from sedan and find Hyundai expensive on service. Also hyundai service have this attitude problem due to busy service centres.
@@picklefun All India Hyundai ranks No.1 in Quality of Services among all Co's.
My brother owns Verna Diesal since launch & till date he has not experienced any problems with performance, Major parts and experienced best Quality of Services at affordable Pricing.
When compared to our friends Vento's Servicing costs is almost Double.
@rajoosolanky780 Looks like you are a hyundai salesman 🤣🤣🤣. Dude, I still own my Verna. Kushaq is my second car. And I can say for sure, hyundai is expensive service, only using it because of the diesil mileage. But 100% it is expensive in service. Vento is definitely cheaper in service. Take both the service history and check and prices in detail. Verna has a half yearly service requirement which cost 12500/- each service. Compared to Vento which is an annual service, charges 10k. Hyundai parts also are not cheap. My strearing knurlings were damaged, it costed me 9k change. Recently my shocks were off and I was billed 25k+ service charges. I do company service only.
Great boss for speaking your mind. I too did not find the door "thud" very impressive. 3 year old Polo has a better thud.
It dosent have all full disk brakes.
Sir Mg astor car leni hai kesi hai
if a karnatka person says that ac is ok, wont say it chills but its ok, means its not good enough for delhi kind of weather, delhi peaked 49 degrees last summer, so clearly this car is not suitable for delhi like hot places during summer
Digital cluster kaise agaya?
Seltos lover giving review about German, practically this is way better than Seltos...and about safety, it has 5 star rating!!
How do u call seltos lover and vw hater, which point makes u feel that way?
It has 2 disk in front only & rear brakes are drum & 1 ltr doesn't have cylinder deactivate only 1.5 is providing this amezing engineering. Please don't share wrong informations.
Thoda negtively biased opinion lagta hai.build quality is solid ,engine is powered adequately.Gadi ko achha bolna hai Lenin Bol nahi pa rahe hai😁😁😁I was forced by friend to take test drive of kushaq, and I was amazed.Talking about boot space it carries more luggage than creta.
Agreed!
& yes, it definitely carries more luggage than the Creta
I have 1.0 ltr engine, Giving me 16-18 mileage on the higway within one month of purchase. It might increase over the time as well as after the first service. So fingers crossed and expecting more.
I am happy with it in terms of mileage so far
Hows the air conditioning brother?
@@rohitg81 its good. No issues in 2023 kushaq
Good review but felt like...cons were repetitive...if your remove all these repetitive points then the length of the video would also comes down to 15 mins easily.
Global ncap 5 h bro saftey m purana purana ky kar rhe ho
With utmost respect I would like to disagree with you.
1. Looks are subjective.
2. I think recent 5 star safety ratings clears your doubts about safety.
3. Boot space is practically adequate. The number doesn't tell you everything. Take a look at MG Astor. It has boot space of 420 litres, but practically you cannot keep anything and I mean it. 1 trolley and you are done.
4. Reg. Mileage I cannot comment, I think you would be a better judge but I assume 13-15 in city and 18-19 in Highways.
Thanks for sharing your opinion with us 🙌😊
6:35 Brother, not all four are disc brakes. Front disc and Rear drum brakes
Boot Space, dont go on numbers. It actually fits more items than a Creta
