2020 Triumph Street Triple RS 765 Exhaust Modification Part 1.

Part 1 of 2 videos showing how I modified the standard silencer on my Triumph Street Triple RS 765.
In this part I show how I cut the silencer open and remove the cat and outlet pipe, weld in a larger diameter pipe and fit the heat shield.
In part 2. Welding in the perforated tube, packing the silencer with wadding and final welding, painting and fitting to the bike.
And of course, First start!

Hello brother....
Dos this cause any effect on engine like back pressure/ milage / performance
Because the actual ECU was tuned for stock exhaust air flow
Do we need to tune the ecu or it can negligible

The engine is tuned with a power commander and some adjustments to the ecu directly to optimise the current exhaust system and air filter.

Hi. The 17-19 model doesn’t have a cat and I haven’t cut one open but I imagine it’s similar and could be modified in the same way as I have done here.

The bike is tuned to suit all the exhaust modifications so can’t really comment.

I did notice a slight increase but I had the bike tuned a few months after I modified the headers and silencer to make sure it was fuelling perfectly.

Don’t fuck over your oem parts. I have done that mistake many times on my cars. It’s not good when you’re trying to sell them.
