    This will be very helpful - just ordered mine - they are a nice looking unit. Thanks for taking the time to put it on video mate!

      Mate, enjoy it. Hope it helps, the unit is really good I had one on my Street Triple R 2013. Actually I have a video on installing that one as well, so I didn’t need to look at the manual. Pretty straight forward assembly. The video didn’t take me long, once I took the vids I put all the footage on my iMovie in my phone and minutes later all done.

    Really well done video, I even like the mistake he showed where he put the 2 sides together too soon and had to take it apart for the turn signal wires. EVO should provide the link to this video when you buy it!

    Great vid. Would you please post details of the rear bobbins and stand you are using.

    • @aussiegeekrider
      @aussiegeekrider  2 года назад

      I use the bobbins by Evotech evotech-performance.com/products/ep-triumph-street-triple-rs-m8-paddock-stand-2020-onwards
      The stand I bought a number of years ago a cheap one from Aldi here in Australia, it’s still going strong. It was $50 but you can buy any motorbike paddock stand, it’ll fit just fine.
      I also have these rear crush bobbins by Evotech evotech-performance.com/products/ep-rear-spindle-bobbins-triumph-street-triple-rs-2020-onwards.
      Hope this answers your questions

    Thanks for the video. I have a 2021 Street Triple R and the bolts are tight and the tail tidy still wiggles. Also, the US license plate doesn’t fit. Any advice ?

    • @aussiegeekrider
      @aussiegeekrider  3 года назад

      I’m wondering how the wiggling can be possible. I’m assuming you’ve followed the instructions in the manual as well? Here is a digital copy of it anyways. evotech-instructions.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/instructions/010833+triumph+daytona+675+street+triple+675+tail+tidy+instructions.pdf
      I also assume you’ve replaced some of the original bolts with the ones provided. Is it the whole unit wiggling or just the right and left wings? I’ve found even with the Aussie number plate I had to be creative and use the provided brackets the best I could and drill new holes in the plate to suit but not impossible. Worked out ok and I’ve used a white paint pen to paint the end of the bolts that come through the plate to make them almost invisible. Back to wiggling issue, I’d recommend contacting Evotech support as that shouldn’t happen if you followed the manual instructions.

      @@aussiegeekrider Thank you for the response as it helped me figure it out. I was using the OEM bolts instead of the supplied. All fixed. Thanks again.

    Hi! Thanks for your installation video. It helped with the installation of my Evotech tail tidy. I have a question: There's a small gap between the tail tidy and the body panel. I was wondering if this is the case with your installation, and if so, does dirt/mud work its way to the interior of the storage compartment through the gap? I was thinking of fashioning a rubber gasket to seal that gap. Thanks!

    • @aussiegeekrider
      @aussiegeekrider  2 года назад +1

      I just had a look, I have like 2mm gap around it, pretty small gap but no mud/dust makes its way inside under the seat or cowl. Seems to get clean when you spray clean your bike. The gap seems negligible. Hope this helps.

    • @VincentTL
      @VincentTL 2 года назад +1

      @@aussiegeekrider It does! Thanks!! I guess I was expecting the Evotech to be flush with the under seat body panel. Good to hear that you're not having problems with dirt/mud getting thrown up into the storage compartment. Thanks again!

      I can only recommend what I’ve tried. I’ve got a Spark exhaust on. It’s an Italian made full titanium. Price is pretty much the same with the SC project , just a little less loud than SC project. I had to keep the baffle into mine and added an extension to it and now is just right. Here’s the exhaust. Got a bunch of good comments about the looks from people I do rides with. Spark Exhaust on Triumph Street Triple RS look and sound before and after stock

    I would like to know if you can help a fellow french. Here, we have a stupid regulation that ask to have the licence plate in an angle between 0° (0 rad) and 30° (0.52 rad) relative to the vertical of the road.
    So, If you still have this bike, could you please try to measure this to see if it fits this requirement ? I asked on evotech website but they are not able to answer unfortunately.

      I just did the evo tech tidy and the UK triumph LED indicators on mine (us spec) I think I need some sort of spacer but I made it work. There’s a slight maybe 1mm gap between the mount plate and the indicator. Since the base is rubber I just tightened it and it smooshed up enough. I’m gonna look around to see if there’s any solution. The rizoma ones would be way too thick

Saves my wrist from a million bolt twists and doesn’t require any force so it does the job it’s all it matters to me. I find it funny too that that’s what took your attention from the whole video.
