Love the honest review, just brought a triumph trident 660 tribute. Going from a 125cc didn't want to go crazy with the hp and think I have made a sensible decision with a great mid range bike , gets delivered in a few days with the extras getting added . Stay safe and ride well 🙏 everyone 🙏 ❤️
Hey man just wanna say how much ive been loving these vids. Just found you a week ago looking for street triple content. But you definitely deserve a lot more subs (soon). Keep em coming.
I have test ridden both of these bikes and generally agree with your conclusion. Both are great bikes. I got myself a Street triple R 2022 with some extra bits as my very first bike. Because: - the R/RS looked and felt a bit more high end. Rear brake pedal and shift pedal felt less rubbery for example. Some parts were in metal on the R while plastic on the Trident, which is perfectly ok. - R and RS have full adjustable brake and clutch levers and also adjustable suspension. - I felt I would quickly outgrow the Trident. With the R I felt there was more to explore. - many extra bits on the RS were race track oriented and felt over the top for my skill level - I really like the analog rev gauge and lcd instrument cluster of the R. LED display on the RS was disappointing and not intuitive. The display on the Trident looked really nice - the R has quickshifter as standard - power difference of RS vs R not really noticeable. Big power difference between R and the Trident. - price difference of R vs the Trident is not that big. The bump in price of the RS compared to the R was not worth it for me.
Hey man, I’m also in the same boat, I want to get the speed triple R and really can’t see the reason for the RS because I don’t want a track oriented bike but I just wanted to know how tall you are and how you feel riding the street triple R compared to the Trident, the Trident honestly seems too small for me. I am 6 foot two going on 6 foot three and my knee a point on the fuel tank that seems it would be annoying while riding. Also, how do you feel riding your street triple R for long periods of time I understand this comment is a little old, but I just wanted to know.
@@gavinstanley285 hey, I am 1.82 cm tall. Due to some circumstances I got the Street Triple R LRH but I must say it fits like a glove. If I get another bike I might switch to normal ride height, but like I said the lower ride height of this one is not annoying at all. I did several long rides on it now, longest being about 9 hours in the saddle with no sweat or pain at all. Also went on a week tour avoiding any stretch of Autobahn and that is a joy. Only downside is the limited amount of luggage you can take but hey that is the concept of a nakedbike. Upside of this is that the bike retains it handling even when fully packed (topcase, tankbag and rucksack). Handling is a dream. Plenty fast enough for public roads , and very nimble and lightfooted with plenty of stopping power. This bike eats up twisties like there is no tomorrow. 😊. Also like its’ versatility. If you want to ride like a hooligan and wring out the rev band you can and you will enjoy it. If you want to do long stretches with low to mid rpms with a relaxed riding style then the bike takes that on too and that also is enjoyable. I did take it on the Autobahn (D) and there it has plenty of power. I took it up to 200+ kmh but stopped because windblast was too much for me. The bike could do more than that though. There still was something left. When I do take it there I ride at cruising speeds up to 150-170 kmh. That is a nice compromise about still getting somewhere and not having too much windblast for it becoming uncomfortable over longer duration.
@@Zweefduiker I really appreciate it man this really helps my I am honestly thinking that the R is the better choice for my as my first bike seems like your doing well it being your first and the power is just the right amount thank you for all the information your only about 3 inches shorter then me so it seems like it will be perfect for me also I know also I can always upgrade to the RS down the road if I wanted to but I don’t wanna go to the track so that is why the R seems better to me what color did you get and what accessories have you put on and how old are you and how did it feel starting on that bike as your first was it scary or is it take unless your crack the throttle wide open

Love the trees in the vid. What is the general area? You are correct, owning the RS and the Trident is a little strange. But, I can see the benefits. Going to work = 660; going for un-work = RS. Thanks for the vid., really appreciate it. I've a new H Hornet on order. This will have to do for both, aforementioned, activities. Ride safe. Hi! Great vid! I owned a Trident and I loved it. Now I'm about to get a 2024 765R and my only fear is comfort for longer rides. And btw I love the tire hugger on the trident!
Hey congrats! I cant really comment on the 765 R as it has different suspension. However it should be even more comfortable for long rides just because its slightly lower and the shocks should be a little softer. Either way, ive done 5 hour rides on mine without pain. Was awesome.
@@rwdconnor The R should be a bit more relaxed than the RS for sure. But still closer to the RS than to the trident. Also the new R is very similar in dash and controls to the trident. I really want a 765rs but not sure if it’s too much bike for me. I had a 390 duke for 2k miles and 3 months before I had to sell. I have ridden things like sv650, mt07/9/10, gsxr750. Been over a year since I had my Duke. I’m unsure if jumping back in on a street triple is smart move. Trident seems appealing and will help me grow my skill but I want that street triple rs so bad.
Great video, I've been looking for a way to get around! I have a Trident 660 and use it mostly for commuting. I would like to ask how different is the heat? I don't feel much heat in my Trident 660. But now I am thinking of buying a Street Tripe RS to enjoy more winding roads, so I would like to know about it.
sounds good, i’m looking forward to the updates. one request/question… is there a minimum number of days per week that plan builder will accept as valid? right now, the minimum is three but my wife only uses the trainer twice per week, so when she is on a plan she will have to choose which one she skips every week. it would great if i can set her up for twice/week workouts so she doesn't miss anything.
Hi. A small doubt regarding reliability and longevity of Triumph motorcycles when compared to Japanese bikes because everyone are praising about the quality fit and finish of Triumph.
Only 40mpg, damn! 😢😢😢 I was really hoping it would get at least as much as last year's model -- around a claimed 46 mpg. The lower mpg is what is really holding me up on this bike. The Yamaha MT-09 SP (an 890cc) gets a claimed 49 mpg but I've seen videos where riders were getting 52 mpg who admitted that they were NOT fuel economy focused. I really want this 765 though; it's so freaking gorgeous and sounds so good, even better than the MT-09!
Have a Triumph Street Triple 675R first generation after owning a Blackbird and Hayabusa and relly do like that 3 cylinder bike for sure when it still got power to make it through the day. Now Trident wirh 80 hp is a better bike with less power and soon Triumph release two 400cc with only 40 hp and Royal Enfield have already released a 350cc with only 20 hp. After that i guess the perfect beginner bike would be a ordinary bicycle. This talk about the perfect start bike with soon no power is just silly.
Great content, thanks for this. Trident has been my first bike with just about a season of riding under my belt (in my early 40s), currently scheduled to trade it in on a Moto2 in June, what are your thoughts on jumping to the Moto2 as still a pretty new but responsible rider? It’s a weekend twisties bike with maybe an occasional track day in my future. Thanks!
I haven't ridden a moto2 so I cant say, but with the clip ons, I would assume its more of a track bike, than a commuter. Not impossible but if youre tall, it might hurt after a couple hours of riding haha
I am strongly considering getting the Rizoma clubman for the Trident… I am not a fan of the riser ergonomics. What’s your thoughts? I guess my question really is… how will the fit be?
I am currently researching the street triple r 2023, and heard rumours about bad / expensive maintenance. So my question is, for how long (and how many miles) have you been riding the street triple for? And have you encountered this for yourself?
So funny that you own both, because I’m torn between the two. I’m transitioning to a more naked style bike because I’m coming from super sports and I need it for commuting. I ride about 50/50 highway and surface roads, and one of the main draws for a bike is to save on gas. Which would you recommend? I want to be comfortable commuter but since I’m coming from super sports, I still want to have a fun, quick bike.
Well... TBH since youre coming from a super sport, I would say the Street triple would be more for you. But since youre using it for commuting the trident is more comfortable. Both can have fun in the turns, but they each do things a little better than the other. Trident has better MPG and is more comfortable. But the Street Triple has the option for cruise control (2024) and a TFT screen. Maybe like 10mpg less than the trident. It's tough because I love both. If I had to pick one, for an everyday riders, I would 100% go street triple if its within budget :)
@@rwdconnor I’m sure the street triple is more fun, but I don’t race anymore, so all I really need is the trident to be fun enough. I love everything about the bike, but I’m wondering if I’m going to be missing some of the wow factor. And if so, is that a worthwhile trade off for the reduced sales price, and reduced fuel and insurance cost
Thank's for this test👍 Actually on a Z 900rs I want to switch for a lighter and a more nimble bike.. even if i 'm OK with the 900 . Hesitation...buy a new Trident at shop or an occasion Street 675 R or even 765 R🤔 But for sure a Triumph triple 😉 I have a quick road test on a Trident and I find it very easy, very nimble and intuitiv... I found the engine very pleasant even in low revs but...I m scary to get boring after fews monthes...I m not a beginner biker but not a sporty biker neither...I'm 50 old 😉 On one hand I am scary to get boring by the Trident and on the other hand I am scary to get a bike than I can't use all his habilities 😉 I will try to get a road test on the Street 765 R. I don't make city or speedway ride, only twisties or mountains roads 😀
Glad you enjoyed! If you mostly ride in the Twisties i wouldnt hesitate to get the 765 R/RS. The trident is a fantastic bike that can do anything but i too think you might get bored coming from a 900rs. However.. The trident is very VERY comfortable for long ride and can still handle very well. Give em both a shot back to back if possible :)
@@rwdconnor , thank's for your response 👍 You are in the right, I will go to the shop and try to book a test ride for the two , is the best way to compare😉 And for the street 675, I think she is beetween the two...but much more like the 765 probably...but an older bike
The Striple is so good in all situations it renders the Trident useless as 2nd bike imo. High speeds, town traffic. Does it all comfortably. The Trident is great for what it is designed for, its a good quality beginner bike to rival The MT07
Hi man, what is MPG? Sorry i dont understand that.and the insurance here in italy is like €1000 a year on the street triple R, didnt ask for the Trident, how much u pay for it, i mean the Trident, very like your vids and i like the honesty and advices, when pple says not a begginer bike i was thinking is not for me i havent ride a big bike, but i ride alots of bikes low cc and a dirt bike 250, so i may think i can ride, safely ofcourse nt like marc marquez :P
I have the RS wait till your dash tells you to shift. Amber then Red then shift and don`t slow down for corners it will go round them. Nice talk through MPG is about 45 overall with about 6k riding
My dealer has a 2018 Speed Triple RS on sale, and I'm seriously considering it over a trident, given my Z400 is now totaled. The newer tridents are priced too closely to this Speed Triple, and given in live in PA, we have a lot of twistys, and a lot of highways, and I think the Speed Triple might be the better value in the long term. Your thoughts?
No actually I dont. I honestly think the speed triple is just too much bike to really enjoy it. You'll always be on the side of HOLY SHIT with that bike. I think the Street Triple RS is more so the best bike in Triumphs lineup if you want to have something that is dominate in the twists and comfy in the streets. The speed is an animal. The street is perfect for everything.
@@rwdconnor my bad. I mistyped. It's a 2018 Street Triple RS. Not speed. Hopefully once my arm doesn't hurt as much (a result of my Z400 being totaled) I'll be able to get a test ride going.
Unless there are after market headlights for the street triple I would never consider it. It just looks too weird and it would nag me every time I looked at it. On the other hand the Trident looks simply spot on imo. Sound could have more bass.
Its for sure an acquired taste on the headlights. They have grown on me a ton. The triples are known for being screamers! More bass isnt in their nature. Youre better going off to a Parallel twin
I’ve decided to go with the 765RS for the same reasons. Friends have been telling me to go straight to the Streetfighter v4 because it’s the bike I long for but I’m not ready to plunge into that for the amount of cash and my long hiatus off a moped lol I’ve ordered mine in red and am thinking of the silver because it’s coming to the dealership soon
Id love a V4, however like you mentioned, theyre a bit expensive haha. Silver is great! But the red is hot. I just didnt want to wait till the end of riding season to get one haha
I had a V4S ordered but canceled because by the time I got it to the quality of the Speed Triple I was looking at $30k instead of the $20k for Speedy. The fir and finish of Triumph is better imo and I’ve only owned Ducatis or Harleys prior to my first Triumph. Yes it’s not 208hp but I can make due with 177hp with 95flbs torque. Trust me that extra 5 in torque makes bigger difference than the 30extra hp you’ll never use.
@@Scarybooster1 TBH the V4S does look real mean in photos but when I saw it in flesh I was thinking, is it worth paying twice the price of the Street Triple for it? It’s still the bike I’d like to have if I have limitless cash but I don’t haha
There’s nothing like a Ducati. you will never outgrow the street fighter V4 or the Penigali. They’re Italian art in motion IMO. The ferrari of bikes. Triumphs are great bikes and the triple sound is one of a kind but Ducati’s sound like pure muscle. And the mods will come over time. No need to hit the road with it all done. The Stock Ducati is more than enough machine, sound and muscle stock. Ducati over Triumph any day of the week IMO and I own a triple. I’m pulling the trigger on the Ducati very soon. in closing you will turn heads with the Ducati, not with the Triumph.
Hi, I’m getting my first Triumph, a Trident Triple Tribute edition. I tried the demo model and found that the throttle has quite a bit of lag. I’ve read that replacing the exhaust and remapping would fix the problem. The store confirmed this, so I immediately purchased a Zard full system with a map. Do you also agree that this solution will fix the issue? I also have another question regarding the soft break-in and hard break-in methods. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
I have a Zard and DNK tune and can confirm it fixes the throttle lag and makes the bike even more fun to ride, honestly. I would be easy on it for the first 500 or so miles. These bikes are ran in on a bench (Like a dyno) so just ride it like normal mostly, just dont go bouncing off the rev limiter. Congrats!
@@rwdconnor Thanks for your response. I'm not familiar with mapping.; they just told me that this map is compatible with the Zard. I paid approx 40/45 USD for it.
Woah, thats crazyyyy high for insurance on 765 RS! I'm 23, clean record, and on Progressive paying $700 even for the bike! Granted I have it bundled with the Miata and a house. Looks like you have a similar situation with the car and a house too tho. But damn, does Oregon have crazy high insurance rates or something?!
@@rwdconnor gotcha lol. Yea def recommend Progressive. I have 1 year of experience too. But I also put my MSF cert as a safety course taken in the last 3 years. I think that cert took a decent chunk off of insurance
Yea i mean i have nothing against the MT! Im sure its a fantastic bike. Im just big into fit and finish on things tbh. We both know a yamaha isnt going to have better components than the triumph, but still, if its two wheels its great regardless. Just my preference :)
i´ve had the trident 660 for about 4 months, and now im thinking of getting the street tripple 765 RS, i did a test drive and a video review on my channel and wooww.. it blew me away... but im still thinking if its too soon to change the bike... or should i go for it?? or wait some more time... by the way... im a new rider and i feel that i can hanlde more bike already... thats whats keeping me from doing the change... cheers bro... cool video!!!
The one thing as a new rider I wish the trident had was an IMU for the cornering abs as an added safety measure given its aimed at inexperienced riders.
I currently have a RE Meteor 350 and then bought myself the Trident 660. I'm currently in college and when I get my degree, I'm looking to get my first real big liter bike. Would you recommend going from the trident 660 to a speed triple RR or RS? Or maybe get something like the street triple RS and then jump to the Speeds. I don't want to jump the gun and buy something I'm not ready for but at the same time, I don't want to feel like I missed out.
The trident would probably be the better option coming from the RE. I havent ridden a speed so i cant really say, but thats a MUCH bigger bike (engine size) than the RE, so it might be jumping the gun
I think honestly that depends on Age and Height. Im in my late 20s and only a good 5'6 so for me i dont feel cramped or anything. I did a 300 mile ride and had 0 problems.
If that's full coverage, then that's not too bad. My girlfriend's daughter is paying about 1200 for a new Trident 660. She is a little younger than you but insurance is a little cheaper for females. Her age and having less experience is probably making hers a little higher than yours.
Powerband is the word. You're being sold nonsense about "components." The fancy race bits have their purpose. Race brand brakes can brake over and over from track speeds without fading. That's important on a track. It's not so important on public roads unless you're itching to kill yourself. I find race brakes on street bikes are worse, because they are way too sensitive at lower speeds. They often have little ability to be modulated at more street going speeds. I don't want to look at the lever cross eyed and have it throw me over the handlebars. Marketing depts have you reacting like they want you too. Believing their high margin race bits are what you need to ride around twisty roads at 60 mph. That said, I'd take the Street Trip, only because it looks rather stunning in yellow. Your 660 sounds great.
I switched my bike from Trident to Street Triple finally. Both are good. But, Street Triple is really fun on winding road and I can't stop laughing all that time! BWT, maximum steering angle looks almost same. Anyway thanks for your video!!
Lol you Americans got it good with licensing. UK have their god awful system and here in NZ we are limited to like 45ish HP bikes until we get our Full license after going through a similar tiered system.
Motorcycle deaths are bad enough with the A1/2/A licensing, imagine if 18 year olds in the UK had access to 200hp bikes. That's coming from someone who's had to wait until they're 24 to even start learning. America is free but they die at a way higher rate :/

Well i mentioned i was KINDA ripping on it. So i think that after a long cruise you could get around 46 i would say!
@@rwdconnor I sure hope so; I mean, I really love the MT-09 SP but, this yellow Street Triple is really awesome!!! 👍👍
I read elsewhere that part of the reason for why the 2023 model has more pep is due to Triumph having used different sprockets. Hence the lower mpg.
Some great footage there!
What camera are you using? Any colour grading in post production?
Thank you! I use a Go Pro Hero 9, a ND8 neewer lens, and with this, I was using a purple Panda mic. For the color grading, I use @motofeelz LUT pack.
I guess my question really is… how will the fit be?
great vid! how do you have your phone mount set up?
Quadlock stem mount pro with the vibration damper!
I am currently researching the street triple r 2023, and heard rumours about bad / expensive maintenance. So my question is, for how long (and how many miles) have you been riding the street triple for? And have you encountered this for yourself?
I have 1500 miles on it with 0 problems. The reliability issues are from the old old generation bikes. Triumphs are pretty reliable nowadays
Thank's for this test👍
Actually on a Z 900rs I want to switch for a lighter and a more nimble bike.. even if i 'm OK with the 900 .
Hesitation...buy a new Trident at shop or an occasion Street 675 R or even 765 R🤔 But for sure a Triumph triple 😉
I have a quick road test on a Trident and I find it very easy, very nimble and intuitiv...
I found the engine very pleasant even in low revs but...I m scary to get boring after fews monthes...I m not a beginner biker but not a sporty biker neither...I'm 50 old 😉
On one hand I am scary to get boring by the Trident and on the other hand I am scary to get a bike than I can't use all his habilities 😉
I will try to get a road test on the Street 765 R.
@@rwdconnor , thank's for your response 👍
You are in the right, I will go to the shop and try to book a test ride for the two , is the best way to compare😉
And for the street 675, I think she is beetween the two...but much more like the 765 probably...but an older bike
The Striple is so good in all situations it renders the Trident useless as 2nd bike imo. High speeds, town traffic. Does it all comfortably. The Trident is great for what it is designed for, its a good quality beginner bike to rival The MT07
While I can totally agree with that, my brother rides the trident now, and its just a really cool bike to have haha
@@rwdconnor it is.
one intervals at 10k miles one is 6kmiles so other one was intended for commuting
It’s Miles per gallon. Fuel economy….you can do the conversion to litres/100km.
@@wl660 thanks man
Love these videos so much
Yoooo thanks griff!
Well spoken insights.😃
Unless there are after market headlights for the street triple I would never consider it. It just looks too weird and it would nag me every time I looked at it.
On the other hand the Trident looks simply spot on imo. Sound could have more bass.
Its for sure an acquired taste on the headlights. They have grown on me a ton. The triples are known for being screamers! More bass isnt in their nature. Youre better going off to a Parallel twin
Great vid. What is that usb cabe with the 90 angle?
I’ve decided to go with the 765RS for the same reasons. Friends have been telling me to go straight to the Streetfighter v4 because it’s the bike I long for but I’m not ready to plunge into that for the amount of cash and my long hiatus off a moped lol
I’ve ordered mine in red and am thinking of the silver because it’s coming to the dealership soon
@@Scarybooster1 Ahh i see! yea Tq gets you going, hp keeps you goin. More torque usually is more fun :)
Hi,
I’m getting my first Triumph, a Trident Triple Tribute edition.
What would choose between a new 2022 R and 2023 Trident? They go for about the same amount around here. A plus is being able to put a slip on exhaust.
2022 R for sure. But its really dependent on what you want out of a bike! Both are great
Woah, thats crazyyyy high for insurance on 765 RS! I'm 23, clean record, and on Progressive paying $700 even for the bike! Granted I have it bundled with the Miata and a house. Looks like you have a similar situation with the car and a house too tho. But damn, does Oregon have crazy high insurance rates or something?!
TBh i have NO idea whats going on, i need to shop around haha. It could be the whole "1 year experiance" thing.. No to sure!
@@rwdconnor gotcha lol. Yea def recommend Progressive. I have 1 year of experience too. But I also put my MSF cert as a safety course taken in the last 3 years. I think that cert took a decent chunk off of insurance
@@jacobrhinehart7599 Im pretty sure thats what i have tbh... I dont think i added my MSF tho, thats for the heads up on that!
you haven't tried the mt07 to see how capable it is and how cheap it is, plus it doesn't have so many electronics, it's petrol and it flies!
Build quality difference though.
Yea i mean i have nothing against the MT! Im sure its a fantastic bike. Im just big into fit and finish on things tbh. We both know a yamaha isnt going to have better components than the triumph, but still, if its two wheels its great regardless. Just my preference :)
How about moving up from 125 cbr to the street triple?
Does the trident have cruise control or an option for it? on any model 21-24?
i´ve had the trident 660 for about 4 months, and now im thinking of getting the street tripple 765 RS, i did a test drive and a video review on my channel and wooww.. it blew me away... but im still thinking if its too soon to change the bike... or should i go for it?? or wait some more time... by the way... im a new rider and i feel that i can hanlde more bike already... thats whats keeping me from doing the change... cheers bro... cool video!!!
Thanks mate 🙂
The one thing as a new rider I wish the trident had was an IMU for the cornering abs as an added safety measure given its aimed at inexperienced riders.
AH this is a GREAT point. I completely forgot to mention this. An IMU on the trident would be awesome
it’s Triumph entry level bike, costs had to be kept down. No cruise control on Tiger 660 for the same reason.
There is no missing out, these bikes are going nowhere - but you might if you go in too deep.
The trident would probably be the better option coming from the RE. I havent ridden a speed so i cant really say, but thats a MUCH bigger bike (engine size) than the RE, so it might be jumping the gun
@@rwdconnor I already have the trident and been using it in asking what should I get you think after the trident
Question with Street Triple...what do you think about small touring...300 km -400 km per day...is it ok???
I think honestly that depends on Age and Height. Im in my late 20s and only a good 5'6 so for me i dont feel cramped or anything. I did a 300 mile ride and had 0 problems.
factory trident ecu has sloppy throttle response, i updated mine with sport mode
I never thought it was terrible, just a tiny bit laggy. Once tuned tho its awesome
Brotha what riding glove do you use, and do they work well with your phones touch screen?
In this video im using some BMW gloves haha.
Wonder what a Trident with a 765 engine in it would be like?
Tbh that chassis would be crazy with another 40+ hp haha. Would definitely need better tires, brakes, and suspension!
Did you have the lag in the throttle on the Trident? Did the tune get rid of it?
I do not anymore. The DNK tune took care of that :)
If that's full coverage, then that's not too bad. My girlfriend's daughter is paying about 1200 for a new Trident 660. She is a little younger than you but insurance is a little cheaper for females. Her age and having less experience is probably making hers a little higher than yours.
Would the street triple rs be a good upgrade from the trident?
Absolutely!
Can I ask one more question? What is the difference in maximum steering angle difference?
I switched my bike from Trident to Street Triple finally. Both are good. But, Street Triple is really fun on winding road and I can't stop laughing all that time! BWT, maximum steering angle looks almost same. Anyway thanks for your video!!
Head to toe Gucci suit…no, head to toe in a tweed three piece!
Oregon? - fabby
Lol you Americans got it good with licensing. UK have their god awful system and here in NZ we are limited to like 45ish HP bikes until we get our Full license after going through a similar tiered system.
Ahh thats unfortunate. America gives you a license and asks how fast you wanna go
Motorcycle deaths are bad enough with the A1/2/A licensing, imagine if 18 year olds in the UK had access to 200hp bikes. That's coming from someone who's had to wait until they're 24 to even start learning. America is free but they die at a way higher rate :/
Still riding it?
Not as much as i should
I know you know that a V4 sounds better 😊
They all sounds the same ;)
I know you know most people can’t afford the V4 as nice as it is
@@MrBinkz Im a dunce. I thought you were referring to 4 cyl bike and not the streetfighter hahah. Id love one of those
@@rwdconnorBWAHAHAHAHAHAH
What about riding a wheelie on the trident
Im sure you can, i just cannot/will not haha
It’s easy. Just turn off traction control. It will power wheelie in first all day
@@garrettcraig3451 Id rather do it on the speed triple haha. dont ask why just seems better and its easier
