I got this setup on my 2018 and all I can say is I always have old heads asking what kinda bike that is and then see it’s a triumph and they just love the headlight look. Makes the bike looks like a cafe demon
My problem with the bug eyes lamps was how they are sticking out so much, like couldnt they just put them a little closer to the fork? then they would look beautifull.
Man! I was a hard no on the ST 765R cause I HATED that giraffe neck of a light/gauge cluster but this is amazing!! Now I have to figure out how attached I am to the the idea of getting MT-09...
Just installed this on my 2021 STR. It was a bitch to take the gauge cluster(non-tft) off because there was a hidden bolt behind holding it. I ended up breaking it off but otherwise it was pretty simple. Using the 17mm wrench to take out the two bolts holding the gauge was rather difficult too but totally worth all the effort.

Yea but that back part sticks out too much... is it possible to make the back casing a lil bit smaller?? Me personally not a fan of light that are so bulky.. i rather it be more flush to the bike
So 90% fantastic video. But I have a strange question. Where did you put the air temp sensor? I'm in the middle of my install 2020 RS. Few very minor details otherwise great. I'm just thinking about what to do with the sensor.
A beautiful bike with two big ugly problems fixed. This is how it should look from the factory. Looks amazing! I would spend the money to do this as soon as I got the bike home.
Don't get me wrong, it looks very nice and it probably functions great! However, you just blocked the air intake. The bike was engineered to have a lot of airflow coming directly into the air duct you removed. You also just put a big round disk in front of the piece you left open... Now the engine isn't getting the proper airflow at speed it was designed to use. Maybe in future products you could include an alternate piece to ensure the airflow is normal. Maybe a replacement air intake which encircles or sits below the headlight? Just thoughts. Cool product!
@@motodemic Okay, it's not "blocked" as in covered/ sealed (obviously the bike will run), but you definitely disrupted the intake's airflow by putting something in front of it. There is a reason Triumph engineered the bike with an intake opening on the front, positioned between the fly screen and the headlights instead of just hiding it behind everything. When you are traveling at speed, air gets forced into the air box to improve combustion, resulting stronger acceleration. By putting something in front of it, the engine gets ever so slightly choked for air and cannot perform as well as it otherwise could if airflow was properly directed into the air box.
@@jamestierney1142 - Sorry, none of that is correct in this application. The stock opening is not a straight shot so your theory of how the airflow works is not valid. There is an immediate bend right past the opening and this only acts as an inlet for air. With the conversion installed, the frame inlet gets a direct flow of air below the light, you can see this in the additional photos we show on the site. Air is still flowing all around the light and into that cavity above the fender and below the headlight (where the radiator gets a majority of its airflow) as well. Triumph didn't reinvent the wheel with the 765 and are using the same frame opening they've been using since the 2013 Street Triples, which used to have an extremely restricted opening below the headlights. The intake track has many obstacles and that opening between the lights is not the reason for the 765's extra power.

Did I understand correctly that the evo S has BRIGHTER low beam than the adaptive because of some fancy new/updated LED tech/bulb whatever? Part of the description reads that way
Yes, the Evo S does technically have a slightly better low beam package. Mainly due to power allocation and thermals by not having adaptive functionality to contend with. But, the difference isn't much and the tradeoff for the adaptive function outweighs it. If you don't really need that additional functionality, the Evo S is an excellent choice.
