- Lenny Harper was an outstanding detective who came to police the island of Jersey bringing his experience of Northern Ireland during the Troubles, the Gorbals, Soho and many other extremely tough postings. He describes himself as a 'gutter' or 'sewer' cop, ready to deal with the worst of society. Although he was not told at the time, this was why he was selected by his chief, Graham Power, to head operations in Jersey. He found the elite society of Jersey to be at least as much of a sewer as anywhere he had been before.
Lenny found himself in an extraordinary but sometimes hilarious situation, trying to police serious crimes of corruption, gun crime and systemic child abuse, while the ruling elite of Jersey tried to sabotage his every effort and thwart his attempts to bring justice to the island.
As an American....Lenny Harper reminds me of Sheriff Grady Judd. This world would be a much better place if we had more law enforcement like them. Great interview.

I couldn't listen to it after about 20 minutes ...the two interviewers lauging all the way through it
nobody involved in this video is making light of what happened, the interviewee himself was laughing too, you're just being a tad oversensitive. there are some comical moments, just lighten up.

If any of the children squealed on the criminals on Jersey, there was a MENTAL INSTITUTION, a few minutes drive away in which they were incarcerated and drugged!

i met a woman from scotland in the late 90s , she was hitch hiking & she was drug dependent but she ended up staying with me for about 6 weeks , id been in care as a teenage girl & we talked about stuff, she was really scared of scottish police & told me about a cover up conspiracy , something to do with sra, murder & she was truly scared & its why she was moving around but i found it a bit difficult to understand her accent but she was clearly not making it up
I'm not afraid of any of them. I'm too old to worry now. In Dr Guthrie's schools children were regularly abused and the system in Scotland simply ignored all the survivors

It's same everywhere. 220,000 little ones go missing every year in UK. But when was the last time there was some largescale media on any missing child. I think by now we all know what happens to these poor souls, not just trafficking and pedo rings, but the elites do love their "rituals" and you'll never see those kids again. So of course it all gets covered up, majority in a high ranking position is involved. 220,000, that's horrific. For context, it's the total populations of say Pendle, Hartlepool & Rutland put together.
I can vouch even here in Australia, a remote Catholic (a common denominator for many of these horror stories) town called, "New Norcia" was literally built on the backs of underprivileged children shipped over here from England.
They were tortured, starved, abused and like this story here, both the police and the govt knew about it but did NOTHING, preferring to turn a blind eye instead.
Today, New Norcia is a 'cute' little tourist destination with an award-winning bakery.
BTW, I find your frequent LAUGHTER very annoying and disrespectful to a very dire situation.
We cannot make light of this topic this is serious subject and interviewers and interviewee laughing at this bazaar account of shenanigans makes light of it. There is an illness and corruption in society at the highest level!!! We must remember there ate consequences and victims attached to this account.

The same dog who picked up the scent in Jersey was used in the McCann case in Portugal and was one of the best dogs in the world to be used to pick up the scent of cadavers.
Clement Fraud has a connection to the mccanns during their time in Portugal.
