  • Without the bloggers it is likely that little would ever have been known about the Jersey child abuse scandal. While the government of Jersey, some of whom were involved in facilitating or even participating in the abuse, worked hard to suppress all information about what had happened, Rico Sorda and Neil McMurray, two of a small number of citizens who spoke up, discovered the power of citizen journalism through blogging. Those in power on Jersey tried to intimidate them into silence but were unable to do so. This is their story.

    Awesome work guys. Live in Guernsey and at the time everyone was talking about it. Corruption was at the forefront of the convos. As a teenager I remember people openly talking about it but I dont remember what it was like online as MySpace was the only thing me and my friends used.
    But Rico...you must've been young when you were blogging. Fair play mate. Same with Neil 🔥
